In an old house on Fifty Road five friends will come face to face with death, and fight to survive the night.
On what was supposed to be a quiet night they gather to mourn the death of a close friend. But when a blood soaked girl stumbles onto the door step their quiet night turns into a nightmare.
A devil worshipping cult surrounds the house and takes a blood oath to kill everyone that stands between them and their sacrifice.
The group has no choice but to defend themselves and protect the girl form the satanic horde outside their door.

In 2009 I met Andrew Bussey. He introduced me to directors Sam Peckinpah, Dario Argento, Sergio Leone and actors Steve McQueen and Charles Bronson.
We co-created Bad Radical Films with Duane Frey.
My favorite filmmakers working today are probably Rian Johnson and Kim Jee-Woon.
My shelf is filled with korean, Australian and 80's action flicks.
I love Terminator and Alien

DIY film maker. I work with an amazing crew of people at Bad Radical Films where we create our own brand of film making. I just want to make movies because I love movies.

Hi, my name is Duane Frey and I've been creating mind crimes at Bad Radical Films since 2009.
This looks like a combination of the new Evil Dead remake and The Purge.

I hate this kind of trashy exploitation but the trailer was well done.
Joslyn P. Posted 7 months ago
thought the quality in the beginning was a bit poor. The blood on the Girl was a bit unrealistic, it looked a little obvious that you avoided the eyes and mouth, could've been a bit more realistic. A bit cheesy with the knife spinning and when she is being dragged it looks odd, like she can't move her head almost. Other than that it was pretty good.

Unfortunately this trailer doesn't tell me anything about a main character or give an intriguing story. We've all seen a hundred Monster in the House movies so what makes this one different? Who's the main character? Some of the staging and camera work need better planning to give it a more cinematic look.

yet another crappy horror! is this all we can do?

Suspense and gory always good

There is a story in this concept dying to get out. But it is not clear because someone is trying to put too many things in one movie.

i do not like knives... made me shiver

Starts off a bit rough and the sound is a killer, but this is otherwise promising!
Michelle E. Posted 7 months ago
This looks gruesome!

this looks extremely scary!
Carmen H. Posted 7 months ago

June B. Posted 7 months ago
Not particularly creepy. Masks need more creativity.
Brock M. Posted 7 months ago
Didn't see anything new here
Corey T. Posted 7 months ago
Looking forward to seeing more guys. It could be a lot of fun and creepy all mixed in one.
Patrick G. Posted 7 months ago
In all honesty, I don't know why your rating is so low (average) ... this is the first action movie that made my heart jump. Wish you well.
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting trailer - a little on the amateur side compared to the others in the contest. Also the plot is a little old.
Boris S. Posted 7 months ago
wow...sooooo cheesy
Lizzy T. Posted 7 months ago
Super creepy faces!!
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
Lacking a lot in production quality.
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Not quite there
Tally K. Posted 7 months ago
Better actors would improve this a lot!
Dinah H. Posted 7 months ago
The description had potential. The trailer lacked believability.
Nick M. Posted 7 months ago
Could be developed into something cool

Great work guys. This has cult classic written all over it.

I've seen this. You used every possible cliche. Bordered on an SNL parody of a bad horror trailer. Please respect this genre...

i'll pass!
Katie T. Posted 8 months ago
Feels like a cliche.
Carley S. Posted 8 months ago
Good effort.
Vanessa P. Posted 8 months ago
It seems a little bit generic but I thought this was pretty good!
Mike L. Posted 8 months ago
telephones with no dial tone this is not 1980.... i think the story will need more editing before its a film. who are the members of the gang? why are they killing this group?
Bernie H. Posted 8 months ago
meh.
Chado M. Posted 8 months ago
Slashers are fun. Not sure about the execution on this (the cinematic qualities - not the murders :P) If it were a remote location or obvious small town the hillbilly/ghetto kkk guys would be more believable. With the right location/polish/gear/execution this could be entertaining.

sweet

meh
Holly F. Posted 8 months ago
sheesh. This is just such a mind-messing focus. Why should anyone watch this?
Daniel H. Posted 8 months ago
Horror is a genre I have only begun to investigate, but based upon this trailer, "Fifty Road" looks fairly generic. Anyone can make a slasher flick, but it's the people who put an intriguing twist on it that will succeed. This simply looks like the case of group A hiding in a house while group B attempts to kill them all. The conflict is there, but it is very one-dimensional. Having dynamic plot and conflict is absolutely necessary for compelling storytelling, and that's what I think is missing from this project.

Erik T. Posted 8 months ago
Great cuts. I thought that this was a decently put together, low-budget trailer.
Sara S. Posted 8 months ago
Not sure what this offers that hasn't been told countless times before, but the trailer's not bad.
