Trouble at school lands teenaged Elliot at a hospice for the summer where she must befriend six terminally ill patients.
Throughout her time there, Elliot forms an unlikely bond with Mitch, an 80-year-old intellectual with OCD and also begins an unlikely friendship with Oliver, the school drug dealer responsible for getting her in trouble.
With these new and fragile relationships, Elliot is forced to confront the reason behind her disorder as well as her issues with human connection, intimacy and, ultimately, her fear of death.

Good Luck !! Loved the pitch video, it really showed off your personalities ! Wish there was more about the story with the trailer but I know you guys will rock it!
Kath R. Posted 6 months ago
Very topical subject!
Amanda D. Posted 6 months ago
I like the visuals with the metronome, the dripping water, the chaotic running stream, a good picture of what deteriorating mental health can be like. The girl is not that convincing to me but this is just a small glimps of what you are trying to communicate. Mental health is such a big issue and I'm glad to see a film tackling this issue.
Erik K. Posted 6 months ago
Great concept, but didn't appeal to me.
Rosella W. Posted 6 months ago
It has the potential of being something great. Best of luck!
Catherine L. Posted 6 months ago
I like the topic. But I don't understand - is this really classified as a comedy?
Shannon L. Posted 6 months ago
I love the camera shots, angles, and objects chosen here. I feel like the film will make a great attempt to capture what the narration speaks of - the ongoing question: does one person make a difference in our ongoing hectic world?
Jolene K. Posted 6 months ago

Cindy B. Posted 6 months ago
Looks interesting :)
Judy Z. Posted 6 months ago
Fantastic scenery and I think this might be a realistic portrayal of an anxiety disorder.
Bobby L. Posted 6 months ago
Didn't like the acting, and the trailer overall didn't appeal to me.
Lindsay P. Posted 6 months ago
Good concept but the manner and cadence of how the female lead spoke kind of got on my nerves and I wasn't in love with her acting either, sorry. Good luck
Ros G. Posted 6 months ago
Trailer didn't match the expectations created by the blurb.
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
I wish I was more sold on the premise but I don't get enough from the trailer. I wish you all the best though. The production values seem good, the music sets the mood that you're going for, and if the movie is wrapped around the idea of the girl running all the time, perhaps running marathons or something similar could give it a really near overarching theme to tie it all together.
Edited to add:
Changed my review. I love this movie
Natalia N. Posted 6 months ago
I like the topic of the movie I just don't know if I see it being a million dollar feature. I think it would make a great short film.
Mac L. Posted 6 months ago
Looks deep.
Ron K. Posted 6 months ago
This movie appeals to me on several levels. First, the title and logline tell me it's a story about a teen with a difficult life situation who will learn something about life from a man at the end of his life who presumably has discovered one of life's little secrets that he will share before moving on. Okay, hook set. I'm going to watch this movie. Second, a young person and an old person looking at life from two ends of the experience spectrum thrown together because they have something to teach each other (or so I'm imagining from the trailer, and loving it ;-) about life. Third, genre: drama/comedy this combination works for me because the movie is dealing with a serious subject: a young person with a disorder and an old person about to die, and humour is a useful and enjoyable (for the audience) way to deal with serious subjects. Good luck.
Chris T. Posted 6 months ago
A story that needs to be told.
Cat R. Posted 6 months ago
Hard topic to put to film but you're doing it. Good on you! Beautiful young lady as the main character.

High anxiety?
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
very goo would like to see more
Joslyn P. Posted 7 months ago
It was an interesting concept. I could see people watching this but I think more about her getting into trouble or her befriending a patient should have been included to keep us more entertained than just shots of her and her talking. Good trailer :)

Doesn't capture my interest.

Felt the trailer diodnt do the film justice
Anne S. Posted 7 months ago
Looks cool.
Justin D. Posted 7 months ago
IN a film world where CGI takes away from true character development, this trailer proves that with a strong story, characters are again at forefront of a great movie. This movie made me panic, but I won't be running out of this theatre anytime soon!
Daisy F. Posted 7 months ago
I really really really like the subject matter, and would totally go see a movie like this. The acting fell a bit flat for me though :(
Kirsty R. Posted 7 months ago

Love it, beautiful images, highly captivating content!
Jody M. Posted 7 months ago
I like the difference between the characters. Should make an interesting story build from very different perspectives. Good luck!
Kristie P. Posted 7 months ago
good acting, and beautiful music to accompany the trailer but the lack of the supporting character makes it difficult to know the story.
Jane M. Posted 7 months ago
Piqued my interested but did not get any sense of the panic
Chris R. Posted 7 months ago
Not sure what to make of this from the trailer.
Ellyse M. Posted 7 months ago
Love the concept - can't wait to see more.
Georgia M. Posted 7 months ago
I see in the description of this project it's about a young woman trying to overcome a panic disorder with the help of a dying man, but there's nothing in the trailer showing this potentially interesting second character. We get no sens eif their relationship that will obvuously be fueling the premis of this film.
Rocky E. Posted 7 months ago
Great concept, I'm curious if running will be used as a positive coping strategy or more of a compulsion in response to a distressing "urge". Perhaps she is running away from situations where she cannot cope: work, family, etc.
Enzo V. Posted 7 months ago
Great idea. Good luck!
patricia s. Posted 7 months ago

Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
definitely got some good acting but I feel like the story is a little weak and not well played out in the trailer.
Roxanne M. Posted 7 months ago
Didn't really understand why a lot of the scenes in the trailer were included and what purpose they served. Seems like an okay story line
Amanda C. Posted 7 months ago
Too slow for me - Good luck

Nice work, love the subject matter.
Teresa S. Posted 7 months ago
Nicely filmed, story line has been done to death and running scene seemed too close to Silver Linings Playbook.
penny T. Posted 7 months ago
I enjoyed this trailer. Would be interested in seeing more.
Dianna D. Posted 7 months ago
this is a really good story and one that many can relate to, it looks really good
Anne R. Posted 7 months ago
Loved the girl's voice, which is hard to nail. The story seems intriguing! Also liked the design and the photography.
Helen M. Posted 7 months ago
Concept and trailer seem okay. An awareness of mental health has definitely been on the rise, but not sure of a feature based on this trailer.
Debbie P. Posted 7 months ago
I like the filming. The monologue is not great.
Tori D. Posted 7 months ago
I like the idea, but the acting was questionable. Beautiful cinematography by the looks of it.
Elizabeth S. Posted 7 months ago
Good concept, excecution
LeeAnn D. Posted 7 months ago
Boring sorry
Wendy S. Posted 7 months ago
Awesome! Great music too.
Gavin M. Posted 7 months ago
Looks interesting. For something categorized under Drama and Comedy, though, it would have been nice to see some of the comedy, I think. But maybe that would have diluted the trailer that I already enjoyed? Sorry, hard to say without seeing more.
Diane N. Posted 7 months ago
I didn't get a clear idea of the plot for the movie.
Patsy T. Posted 7 months ago
The DOP did an excellent job -- particularly in the scene where the main character is running.

Addressing mental illness in the media can only help with acceptance and understanding. Kudos for addressing a difficult topic.
Daniel F. Posted 7 months ago
Got me interested. I like the concept!
Mike T. Posted 8 months ago
Interested to see more. The logline sounds great, but the trailer doesn't show enough. Gave it a 9 based on concept.
Mila C. Posted 8 months ago
Nicely shot. Cool concept.
Alex L. Posted 8 months ago
Not sure about the acting, but good to see a story about mental health. Like the title & concept.
Tyler S. Posted 8 months ago
I know this is a Canadian film competition but this one seemed NFB quality.
Darren R. Posted 8 months ago
Important issue to bring awareness to. Hope you do well with this movie. Not sure if that's your real actress but she did a great job in the trailer hope to see her in the movie when you get it out there.
kris t. Posted 8 months ago
This film looks very promising. Can't wait to see it!
Dan S. Posted 8 months ago
Nice shots with an interesting story. Well done!

Bernadette C. Posted 8 months ago
I got the drama in this trailer, but I didn't get the comedy?
charles w. Posted 8 months ago
didn't this get made as citadel last year?
Lisa C. Posted 8 months ago
a subject matter that many can relate to in its varying forms...would have liked to see more of her connection to the elderly man who assists in her healing, but the topic of panic disorder is very relevant in today's overloaded world.
Lori R. Posted 8 months ago
Really like the story concept, but will need to be marketed properly so it's understood to be a character study/coming of age, not a horror flic. I see author's comments below about budget and actors, so will leave off judgement of that accordingly. Trailer pitch would have been better with a bit more story development. Nonetheless, I'm basing my vote on the story line. Look forward to seeing them move on with this.
Kevin K. Posted 8 months ago
Looks really amazing, can't wait to see it.
Sean H. Posted 8 months ago
Imagine how much fun this film will be to make! Great, memorable story you guys. I don't think I've ever seen a movie about panic attacks. I wish I thought of it first! Sean Horlor (The Mill and the Mountain)
Chris J. Posted 8 months ago
really a bunch of insert shots, tough from the trailer to see what it would be like as a movie. but could see how the script could be powerful/worthwhile
Richard R. Posted 8 months ago
It's a very unique idea, and can be executed very well
Steve A. Posted 8 months ago
I enjoy the story for this project. I think there could be chance have combine some drama with some great humour.
Lynsey H. Posted 8 months ago
very intriguing! can't wait to see how the story develops!
Casper A. Posted 8 months ago
Great try guys!
Jeremy S. Posted 8 months ago
I absolutely hate when people portray the idea of "Anxiety" as something that envelopes a bunch of other issues. In the beginning she is anal about her notebooks and pens being lined up, but then her room is a total wreck, while she lies helpless on the floor, she sees things that cause her to question reality, and the rest sounds like a collaboration of material taken from a pamphlet on panic attacks found in any counselors office. The only part they got right was the feeling like running, and while it may differ, the feeling is actually quite terrifying, and her cold, calculated way of talking about it, just isn't realistic. Take it from someone who deals with it day in and day out.
Lisa L. Posted 8 months ago
Had high hopes based on the summery but the trailer left much out and the cast would definitely need some tweaking.
Kate M. Posted 8 months ago
can't wait to see it.
Lisa B. Posted 8 months ago
Looks really good. Can't wait to see the final product. So great to see more and more films touching on real life issues like this.
Tina V. Posted 8 months ago
I watched the trailer because of the description listed as a teenager being helped by an old man dying of cancer....where is the old man? I was a little let down by that. The camera work was strong but unfortunately I didn't feel that the main character was connected to the role. She didn't seem to be distressed at all. Good effort though.
Danielle S. Posted 8 months ago
Looks great! I would love to see the movie at cineplex!
MK M. Posted 8 months ago
Such a good first feature idea - really compelling story
Matt W. Posted 8 months ago
This looks really healtfelt and emotional. I really want to see this film!
Joe M. Posted 8 months ago
Well shot. Performance was a tad stilted but that could improve. I did want more from watching the trailer. Very Japanese in tone, even Ozuesque.
Larissa B. Posted 8 months ago
The trailer didn't indicate any semblance of a story...
Mohamad M. Posted 8 months ago
Nice!
Kayla S. Posted 8 months ago
I did not see a story in it
Curtis L. Posted 8 months ago
Looks great! Good luck y'all.
Lindsay S. Posted 8 months ago
Love it! Can't wait for the movie!
Jhane B. Posted 8 months ago
There is something intriguing about this trailer; something that makes you want to know more about this feeling of panic. It has a hint of a "thriller" but my sense is that it is more "real life" and may shed some light on what it is like for those who live in a world where unexplained panic can hit anywhere, anytime.
Janet R. Posted 8 months ago
The trailer was cut really well! I can't wait to watch the entire film!
Jeff M. Posted 8 months ago
Love it!
Rad M. Posted 8 months ago
Awesome..
Jeff R. Posted 8 months ago
I love the earnestness of this project. At times, I think there's a little too much of it in the trailer, but I'd rather have way more earnestness than too little of it. I'm interested in seeing where this goes!
Eric S. Posted 8 months ago
This has lots of mood and tension, without giving too much of the plot away. A promising trailer!
Niki H. Posted 8 months ago
Amazing
Kathryn H. Posted 8 months ago
Love this! Can't wait to see more!
Anne A. Posted 8 months ago
comedy? I missed that
Chado M. Posted 8 months ago
Well shot, boring story.
Ruxandra R. Posted 8 months ago
Not getting a feeling that that is something I would want to watch. Trailer was alright. Just no story.
Dan S. Posted 8 months ago
Great to see a movie not afraid to break barriers and discuss social issues!
Stephanie L. Posted 8 months ago
One of the few trailers that looks like it hasn't been shot yet and still looks intriguing. Good job.
Katelyn J. Posted 8 months ago
Looks like this will be a really great film!
Kris J. Posted 8 months ago
Looks and sounds great! Not only does the story sound original, but this film seems like it can also do good by creating awareness for mental health problems, like panic attack disorder.
Josh S. Posted 8 months ago
Looks awesome!
Andy C. Posted 8 months ago
Good luck it looks pretty good :)
Frank L. Posted 8 months ago
Looks riveting and true to the current human condition.
Candace B. Posted 8 months ago
Can't wait for this film!!!
Sean B. Posted 8 months ago
Good effort.
Jeremy B. Posted 8 months ago
The synopsis tells a story with weight and emotion that doesn't come through in the trailer.
Jennifer M. Posted 8 months ago
Very interested in seeing the final product-- found trailer quite intriguing.
Donald Y. Posted 8 months ago
A nice trailer, but not a story that suggests feature film. Lacks the reality of a serious movie. It doesn't catch my interest and create a desire to see the movie.
