I really thought the musical choice here hurt the trailer. It was too folky for this kind of movie in my opinion. And then the zombies or zombie like people, what was that about? It seemed like the movie shifted from a post apocalypse survival film to a campy zombie flick. The other thing that really didn't sit well was the shaky cam, and not just the running scenes, but even some vibration on the close ups.

Seriously though, I think the film was well written and the acting looks very strong. There are all kinds of world come to an end, zombie type films out there now. The trick is to be a bit more unique then the rest. I think this film has done that.

I liked the pictures of the vastness of the scenery and the smallness of the people, it really made me feel like they were alone and fighting for their lives. The handheld chase pieces made me feel panic as well. I was enjoying it until I saw the zombie like people, I really hope this isn't another lamo zombie flick, I admit that I have never liked zombies.

Nice scenery. Not sure about the authenticity of the girl's makeup and the costumes she was wearing. But in the world of fiction I guess the reality of true post apocalyptic misery can be suspended for a visual treat. Nice job.

Post-Apocalyptic films are so interesting - they let us break down our current world and lay the groundwork towards a new, better albeit challenging one for the future. I would definitely like to see how these people work towards the glory land and survival.

I like the concept. A few of the shots were repetitive and there was some cuts that jumped to other side of the actors. Overall it looks like an interesting film, but I am not sensing a unique take on the post-apocalyptic genre.

I was interested in the concept, although it was already filmed last year and will be on the TV next month. Until the zombies arrived and I realized there is nothing original in this production - it's a pre-teen fantasy that every kid has already had imbedded in their mind by cheap video games. I'm surprised there isn't a cheap copy of Robo-Cop at the end who brings justice for all.

I was totally into this movie trailer...until I saw the zombies! The possibility of an apocalypse in this day and age could be a reality and this trailer was capturing something that we should all think about...but then came the zombies! Reality gone :(

I really love post-apocalyptic stuff, but I just didn't really get where this was going. The tone seemed a little off, but I think that had to do mainly with the music choice. I totally get that it's really hard to show things without any money, but I kind of hoped to see a little less of the close ups.

Yah, looks good. I like the feel and the acting. Landscape looks cool. Liked the potential relationships and what they meant. I was surprised to see the zombie folks, as it looked like the film had a great sense of a roadmovie. Zombie's looked a little cheezy compared to the rest of the film, which also took a bit away for me.

Both the trailer and the description leaves me wondering if there is more to the plot than just running away, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing. Yet there's something to it. Other than the poor makeup job on the front-line zombies, it is visually enjoyable.

I almost didn't watch this trailer because I'm not a big fan of Post Apocalyptic stories. But when I started watching, I was becoming really hooked. The music is fantastic and really drew me in. But then the zombies showed up.... oh my, you lost me right there. Also, really disappointed to see your setting is LA as opposed to somewhere in Canada. Really??? Don't we get enough of that from American made films?

From the trailer it really doesn't seem like the movie knows what it wants to be. Post-apocalypse action? Romance? Existential drama? Zombie flick? The song choice is terrible. Folk just doesn't jive with the landscape. And lyrically, it's very corny. "We don't seem to have a plan, and I hope to start again." Come on. Try harder than that.

Conflicted here: Loved the end of the trailer and appreciate how you went about making an I Am Legend with budget in mind- to me, THAT'S what this competition should be about. But it's gonna be tough to compete with the dozens of zombie/survival films already made and stand out. On top of the fact that I don't know if the world need another one. That being said, I'd love it if indep. Canadians made the next best post-apoc flick, and I have no idea if this trailer is indicative of your final product, story-wise.

I find I'm interested in this project. There appears to be a decent balance between the depressing an the lighthearted (though it is hard to tell in a trailer with lines out of context). My concern comes from your characters, the female lead comes off as both fragile and capable, which is awesome, yet the men come off a bland and uninspired. Hopefully it was just a bad take for the trailer and all can be redone come the final product. Interested to see where this one goes, keep up the good work.

Zombies! It's really hard to go wrong with zombies but this one looks it just might do it. I can say that I liked the music, but the camera work was kinda poor, and nobody looked like they were genuinely scared of anything. Everyone in the trailer looked really bored which does not really seem right for a zombie movie or for anything post-apocalyptic. I can understand trying to go for a certain lyrical style, but not at the expense of intensity in a film about survival. You need to push your actors harder and get more out of them.

Awesome landscape and setting, it's all got a great look to it. Congratulations as well as making real characters come across within a trailer, very hard to do. I also really appreciated the sentiment and tone you created with the softer, downplayed score and scenes. I would like to see this film get made, but if you do win maybe think about cutting out some of the cheesy dialogue like "Say goodbye.....", it detracts from the authentic and somber mood.

Amazing! I love this film's style in acting and overall content, it's so believable! A lot of times it's hard to avoid cliche's and over-trying voice acting, but you managed to skip that and the cliche's! Very impressed, although the zombies could use some work in terms of presentation. ;) I'm a huge fan of zombie-esque films and this actually reminds me of "The Book of Eli"! Great work! It's really too bad that people need to give a one and not even real feedback, I'm noticing that people are doing this on a lot of the films that really deserve praise, not just this one. I happen to know the boys that did this so I'm going to obviously support them full out, but I do plan on giving an honest positive opinion on the other features knowing that people have really worked hard to be here, only those that deserve it should be proud. Anyways, This is a stunning piece of work gentlemen, I know I'm writing this from your house and saw the trailer the day before it was even launched and gave feedback, but really guys, I'm proud of you.

I wonder what is with these postapocalyptic movies that show the weather being sunny and hot?
Any explosion that would result in the sudden destruction of our world, would generate ashes/atmospheric pollution which would cause a perpetual winter without sun for years. So where is the heat coming from?
Also why are the few remaining survivors fighting each other instead of trying to maximize the gene pool to ensure the survival of the specie?

This is NOT a zombie movie! They are NOT zombies

The people in the end are 'wasters', they're real people who have been infected by toxic waters. They are not a major part of the story, more of an obstacle our heroes encounter.

I thought this was absolutely fantastic! A good post apocalyptic movie with a strong indie feel that is about the people and the society that exists after the apocalypse. However, I actually was quite vocal with my disappointment when I saw the zombies. I feel this story doesn't need that, or at least what I wish to see out of this movie. Its got a lot of potential.

This project has some potential for unique twists and turns in the script. I still feel like the general story has been done over and over. I do however enjoy post apocolyptic stories and it looks like you have done a good job making this trailer.

An un-unique idea, that could possibly be unique, should the CHARACTERS hold up. Post Apocalypse isnt new - but desperate people in desperate times could make it a stand out if it is about people instead of circumstance, about character instead of story. It looks ike a good potential. 8/10

WHY ISN'T THIS UP TOP? This movie looks AMAZING , I heard that the song was written by the director as well. If That doesn't say TALENT, then I don't know what does. And how about the eyes on that babe of a lead role? ... Anyone else notice how the trailer and music sync perfectly right down to when it says " Violence in the streets " a dude drops dead with a bullet in his head? A LOT OF WORK was CLEARLY put into this flick. I'M ROOTING FOR YOU BOYS.

Using an ensemble drama is an interesting approach to the post-apocalyptic genre. That being said, it's still a post-apocalypse film. This has become an increasingly trendy plot over the past few years, which I think is an indication we should move further from it. Making films people have seen before only causes the film world to stagnate. Also, the addition of zombie-like creatures only moves it further in the direction of the pedestrian.

This production is a rare gem. It has a heart and soul to it that comprise its essence. If given the chance, I believe Post-Apocalyptica would offer a visual and emotional treat to its viewers.

When I saw a post-apocalyptic trailer on here I groaned, but I was pretty impressed with the visuals, and what was shown of the story.

Description interested me, part of the overview turned me off somewhat (I kind of think the monk-like sidekick who dispenses advice and/or guidance is a little overplayed at this point) but the trailer won me over. Solid cinematography, good concept and casting seems decent. Would definitely like to see more in time.

Odd music choice, doesn't work for me. I liked the cinematography the vistas especially and the acting is decent. The creatures do seem zombielike make me believe it's a zombie flick, something to think about.

Shot very well. Not an original concept. And quite unrealistic too. I don't think everyone, including the zombies, would be in their 20's and in peak physical condition...not to mention all good looking and dressed super cool. The big thing is that, however awesome a trailer can be, I don't think we need another zombie movie right now.
