The ice cream truck in Red Horizon is a scam? Everyone knows the tune... good touch.
David S. Posted 5 months ago
Hilarious. I love all of these. You guys have all outdone yourselves
Matty G. Posted 5 months ago
I usually don't make posts other than replies, but I really want to give a shout out to all the other teams on this week's mission. You guys really kept it classy and gave cool, fun, and hilarious shout outs to all the other teams. It was great to see you all goof on each other in such a fun and cool way. It honestly didn't feel like a competition this week and more like a bunch of folks having a laugh. I for one thought that was cool as hell. So kudos to you all. Killer job guys. Much respect.
luke k. Posted 5 months ago
ba ha ha ha this was a nice comedy break!
Gael M. Posted 5 months ago
I loved the Red Horizon one. "it's a slow burn". had to watch it twice to really get it but when I did, it was awesome
Diane N. Posted 5 months ago
Your tributes to Mill and Mountain and I-90 were my favourites - very creative.
Seth C. Posted 5 months ago
Very strong work guys you got some hard laughs out of this dork for sure! "Roll for Bluff" loved it huge.
Sage B. Posted 5 months ago

miranda k. Posted 5 months ago

Patrick G. Posted 5 months ago
Patrick S. already chastised me in public for dropping all that beer. There's a balance in the world now ;) Thanks guys. Great work.
Bryan A. Posted 5 months ago
Looks very interesting
Grayson W. Posted 5 months ago
Hey guys i thought your humour was awesome, and disregard the people who say otherwise!
Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
I thought this was a good project, with a deserving concept. This example of insulting the competition leaves me wondering what is in those green cans. Obviously, there is something wrong when creative teams dis other filmmakers - we don't do that in the real indy film community in Toronto.
Grayson W. Posted 5 months ago
"What you just said, is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. Everyone in this room..is now dumber for having listened to it. May god have mercy on your soul." -Principal from Billy Madison
Patrick S. Posted 5 months ago
Now THAT's funny.
Patrick S. Posted 5 months ago
Sorry you didn't appreciate our humour, Donald. We certainly never intended to "insult" any of the other teams. And based on the feedback we've gotten from the other filmmakers so far, I think they agree. These were tribute videos that reflected our respect for their unique ideas and acknowledged that filmmaking should be fun. If anything, we were taking the piss out of the "competitive" spirit of the accelerator and reinforcing the notion that this is about creating art. We're all in this together, and we valued the opportunity to break away from the seriousness of the other missions.
Grayson W. Posted 5 months ago
You guys aren't the only ones to receive hate, poor Uprising and Wolfcop are getting it too from this guy. Honestly, it's a SHOWDOWN, there should be some bad feelings gettings tossed around haha
Zachary V. Posted 5 months ago
Exactly, couldn't have said it better myself. I love what you guys created, it gave me a good laugh. Cheers Zach #Uprising
Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
If I have insulted your team, I apologize. There are 4 teams that did compliment the good points of other teams and encouraged them. It's hard enough to get an indy film made, which you realize. It didn't come off as funny to someone who has participated and written about indy filmmaking. SCAM is one of my favourite projects. Keep up the good work.
Patrick G. Posted 5 months ago
I'm sorry, I fail to see any hateful or negative intent in any of these shorts, Scam or otherwise. How are things at home, Donald? You ok?
Patrick S. Posted 5 months ago
Bahahahaa!
Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
Maybe when you consider that putting others down doesn't elevate a team, then you will understand how indy film is made. As for me, I just wrapped on a excellent indy film with some real professional cast and crew. Life is good.
Alexa B. Posted 5 months ago
I want that blue alien hoodie
AJ J. Posted 5 months ago
You guys are ridiculous. I love it
Rob E. Posted 5 months ago
OMG, the Grade Nine Dungeons and Dragons spoof is the best Showdown spoof of all the entire competition!! I played Dungeons and Dragons as a kid and that spoof is so smart and so funny, it could exist just a a sketch on it's own, outside of this mission contest thing
Patrick S. Posted 5 months ago
We make me laugh. Special thanks to Daniel Boileau's videography and editing this week. And a shout out to the bizarre creative mind of Allen Morrison... Dude- what did we do? We're trying to come off as serious filmmakers here!!
Natalia N. Posted 5 months ago
Your tributes for The Fall and Uprising are my favourite...Soooo funny. Great work overall!

Matty G. Posted 5 months ago
Hahahahaha!!! Cariboo!!! I will however say that Gilmore refused to drop the beer and we had to hire a stand in to do his dirty work at great expense! Hahaha! Killer one guys.
Jason M. Posted 5 months ago
You guys work a bit more on the Boston accent and you might get a deal. You made me laugh thanks #i90Army
Sage B. Posted 5 months ago
