Liam & Sé love their lives in Lahinch, Ireland: following their passions for coffee – under the guidance of their coffee guru, Peet – and for surfing. Paradise! But, with the money running out, the guys need a new survival path. So, with Peet’s help, they head to America to become Third Wave coffee masters.
Once on the west coast, Liam & Sé make a great team, rising to the top of the Third Wave world with the help of their new coffee wizard, Raine. Then, for Liam, a new chapter opens. He meets Sam, a sultry and enigmatic coffee trader. But to Sé, Sam is nothing but a risk to their dreams, which are on the line as they approach Third Wave’s biggest night: the World Coffee Championships.

Surfing and coffee. There are at least two things about this movie that I love :)
Matt H. Posted 5 months ago
This looks pretty good, an interesting premise, good acting. I don't like coffee. Tea FTW

I want to see more. :)
Fiona M. Posted 6 months ago
Coffee is everywhere but never really in the movies playing such a pivotal role. Unique concept on what could have been just a boring old love story. A story told like never before. Good luck this has great great potential. I'm really excited to see it!
Rosella W. Posted 6 months ago
I like it! It's not perfect but it's not bad, either. And I'm saying this as someone who doesn't even drink coffee. ;)
Jeet S. Posted 6 months ago
You guys have something here. Keep up the good work!
Judy Z. Posted 6 months ago
This might be a really good one. The trailer defines the story but leaves you wanting to see more.
Ken S. Posted 6 months ago
This little excerpt from the film has it all; humour, sex, a bit of a business story line, and most of all, I want to see more! The type of film that would have broad appeal.
Richard F. Posted 6 months ago
I love it!
Natalia N. Posted 6 months ago
Wow so I noticed the rating I gave you guys in the beginning of this competition and you guys have won me over and deserve much higher. Great work so far and good luck!
Mark S. Posted 6 months ago
awesome! I hope it wins...
Tyler S. Posted 6 months ago
Great cinematography, however the first half feels like a commercial.
Amanda D. Posted 6 months ago
Not sure that coffee can cause this much tension but I'm willing to learn more and watch more. I do like the characters and the possible love triangle story. And who doesn't love a good accent!
Deb H. Posted 6 months ago
Somebody is actually looking at the subculture!
David L. Posted 6 months ago
Might have something with the idea, execution seemed a but rushed.
Ryan G. Posted 6 months ago
I get that there is a story here, I just dont get what it is.
Cat R. Posted 6 months ago
I just couldn't get my head around this trailer although your work was pretty good.
Cathy C. Posted 6 months ago
Interesting!
Helen M. Posted 6 months ago
The coffee concept is unique but past that it seems to be pretty typical & predictable based on the trailer.
Taryn K. Posted 6 months ago
I felt the main plot needed more work but the cinematography played out very nicely
Keegan M. Posted 6 months ago
You had me at surfing. Love the concept, keep it up!
Danny G. Posted 7 months ago
Not big on this story but the acting was terrific and enjoyed some of the creative shots.
Donal O. Posted 7 months ago
Great trailer. Sell the whole thing to Nabob or a coffee distributor for a huge option and make them the partners.I
Fabien W. Posted 7 months ago
I like how the trailer actually tells you about the story. The sound is really good, the image is really good too, the acting is professional quality.
Not to mention I love coffee!
Steve W. Posted 7 months ago
Intriguing glimpse into my third favourite subject (the other 2 are a challenge to the cinematic medium. Good casting except for the inspiration's voice (should be mastered with more bass and presence). Camera work is great, shot variety excellent, editing bang on - I like the points of view during the fisticuffs. I am definitely curious to see more.
Riley W. Posted 7 months ago
Great all around job guys! Looks fantastic!
Alexandra S. Posted 7 months ago
Talented actors and nice cinematography!
Anne S. Posted 7 months ago
Nicely done.
Nicole T. Posted 7 months ago
Well filmed :)
Sheila H. Posted 7 months ago
Good interesting and the acting is very good,
Michael L. Posted 7 months ago
Wow! I wouldn't have known it that coffee could be this exciting.
Joslyn P. Posted 7 months ago
I thought it was an interesting and unique topic but I found the main speaker wasn't quite right for it. A bit awkward sounding and the music seemed out of place. Other than that good job!
Melissa W. Posted 7 months ago
Not sure what the third wave coffee movement is all about.. looks alright.
Roger G. Posted 7 months ago
Love the irish accent but im not really sure what the movie is about. What is the third wave coffee movement? That really needs to be explained.
Fanny B. Posted 7 months ago
My favourite so far! I love coffee and I love surfing, so together with a fun plot makes a good show for me!
Danny L. Posted 7 months ago
it was well filmed and gave a broad scope of the overall film a couple of young guys get a break from a guy who really does not need them financially or there business sense i kinda dont get it unless the coffee guy is being philonthropic
Bob C. Posted 7 months ago
Love and coffee... and surfing! Awesome.
Warren C. Posted 7 months ago
Hard to grasp from the trailer what the main story line is.
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
This is very intriguing, i'm curious to watch this evolve
Marlene S. Posted 7 months ago
I couldn't quite hear the voice over at times, which left me slightly confused about the main plot. I do love coffee though!
Amanda C. Posted 7 months ago
Doesnt hold my interest for a big screen production - Good luck
Lindi A. Posted 7 months ago
It was so so
Carolyn K. Posted 7 months ago
Can't wait to see the story develop! Good job guys!
Jb jack K. Posted 7 months ago
Excellent. A great start to a potentially great film about a subject that everyone loves but knows little about. COFFEE! And LOVE! What a great combo. We all meet our love interests for coffee.
Natalie D. Posted 7 months ago
Can't wait to see more. Looks Great!
Kim T. Posted 7 months ago
I like coffee but now I'm thinking I'll take up surfing.
Andrea F. Posted 7 months ago
Can't wait to see this film - the premise makes you want to sink into your chair and not move until the lights come up (unless it is for a really good cup of Joe!).
Joehl C. Posted 7 months ago
Lots of potential. Best of luck!
Kathy M. Posted 7 months ago
Trailer feels a little lost, like I get the coffee... but don't understand where surfing comes in.
Cari J. Posted 7 months ago
Coffee and surfing? How can you go wrong?! Was pretty cheesey at times though...
Lauren P. Posted 7 months ago
Working in the specialty coffee business, this is the kind of film I want to see: entertaining as well as informative, gripping with passion for the human adventure at the heart of the "black gold". Would be a 10/10 with a better photography, but it's great already. Keep up the good work!
Aviator L. Posted 7 months ago
Awesome. Boodock coffee saints....
Siobhan W. Posted 7 months ago
Third wave is an excellent idea based on a culture (coffee) that is growing so rapidly! We love the concept of the show and vote YES!
Eirah U. Posted 7 months ago
The coffee culture has taken centre stage as in many ways. This program has the potential to go in many different directions as each episode progresses.
Thara V. Posted 7 months ago
Intriguing! Not too much of the plot was given away, just enough to leave me wanting more. Drama, Inside the coffee trade and surfing, though I'm not clear where the surfing happens once they get to America.
Lisa O. Posted 7 months ago
What a Blend!
Dan R. Posted 7 months ago
doesn't seem strong enough to hold it's own as a feature.
payola m. Posted 7 months ago
Finally - a new genre of film and coffee !
Vanessa H. Posted 7 months ago
not really understanding the story line but interested
Todd M. Posted 7 months ago
Could be good but drama doesn't make for a good commercial box office choice. Cinecoup is supposed to give us movies that WOULDN'T get Canadian gov't funding. I think this one could easily do just that. That's the only reason I can't justify rating this higher.
Nadine C. Posted 7 months ago
oh this has my attention!!! Like a mafia of the coffee beans!!!! hell ya!!
Andrew H. Posted 7 months ago
Seems a bit hokey, but the irish accents could save it. If that makes any sense?
karyn b. Posted 7 months ago
Loved Sideways so if this is like that for coffee I am excited to see it!
Elizabeth C. Posted 7 months ago
Nelson is amazing!
Anne S. Posted 7 months ago
Awesome Andrew and crew!
Doug S. Posted 7 months ago
Can't wait to see the feature!!! When's it out? When's it out?
Shawn A. Posted 7 months ago
not bad
Mark V. Posted 7 months ago
Coffee, surfing and women. where would this go? bad idea for a a story although the trailer was good.
Colleen P. Posted 7 months ago
bad narration
Michael U. Posted 7 months ago
+1!
Joey T. Posted 7 months ago
I wasnt interested. i feel like i watched the whole film in this trailer.
Donna K. Posted 7 months ago
Wow! Such great ideas here.
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
I didn't realize coffee could be this exciting - oh wait - it's not.
Shawn M. Posted 7 months ago
Good work!
lana T. Posted 7 months ago
I'm not sure about this one...
Shawn L. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting concept – blending coffee and surfing.
Jonathan R. Posted 7 months ago
Switch the coffee bean for a coca plant and you got yourself a feature
Dominic R. Posted 7 months ago
Good idea. Enjoyed the surfing angle.
Jamie T. Posted 7 months ago
I'm just don't understand the coffee, is it really that important to people?
Carly J. Posted 7 months ago
Some shots seem quite blurry and not in focus
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Nicely done. Seems like a fun, original story
Gloria P. Posted 7 months ago
Some sound problems but charming!
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
Finally I like one tailer...no phoney Irish accent...I might pay to see this...leaves me guessing as to what will happen.
David W. Posted 7 months ago
This is a film with a novel theme that manages to be intriguing, sharp and sexy without resorting to cliche or excessive violence. A breath of fresh air featuring a young and attractive cast of characters. I would like to see more!
Joe C. Posted 7 months ago
Wow!.. No Zombies No blood and gore engaging Something new... and Surf I love it
Andrew L. Posted 7 months ago
Amazing stuff Andrew & Team...heh heh!
Kevin P. Posted 8 months ago
Hire a boom operator. ADR everywhere! So many tight shots that did not need ADR
Susan M. Posted 8 months ago
Excellent! Can't wait to see it come to life.
Will B. Posted 8 months ago
Very interesting and unique concept but not very intriguing on a foundational level. Rooting it in the coffee industry is new and cool, but this film would need to rely heavily on story, character development and performance in order to be entertaining.
Katie T. Posted 8 months ago
Really like that this one is original! Sure it feels like other movies I've seen, but that's because it's a good trailer and it makes me believe it could be a movie. A coffee drama is unique and the actors are charming. Holds together well. I'll be watching. No zombies too.
Darren R. Posted 8 months ago
Nicely put together. Very nice cinematography. Excellent storyline. Not sure why my review posting wasn't sticking but I'll keep trying till it sticks.
Kismet T. Posted 8 months ago
Looks great, good luck catching the wave.
Seth C. Posted 8 months ago
Nice work, seams fun
Travis B. Posted 8 months ago
Very well shot. Really not feeling the story. Some guys making great coffee? woo hoo :/ Maybe I'm missing something but the trailer didn't have ANY sense of drama or, anything really..
Arsen O. Posted 8 months ago
another doc.
Liz L. Posted 8 months ago
Can't wait to see this film made. Andrew, an amazing job as always! i think I will now go make a cup of coffee.
Nina F. Posted 8 months ago
There are very good production values in this project. Great casting. The characters are believable. Awsome camera work and editing. I looks like a lot of stuff will happen and I want to know what these people are going to do. It left me curious. Good work.
Mike L. Posted 8 months ago
good job on the trailer well done. the coffee house dream is a bit far fetched for me. booze is a better and more interesting story driver.
Mac B. Posted 8 months ago
a lot of potential, i'd see this
Julia Richard M. Posted 8 months ago
Is it just about coffee
Andrew B. Posted 8 months ago
Looking forward to the whole picture. I am intrigued. Looks fantastic to date.
Jenna H. Posted 8 months ago
cool
Sharika W. Posted 8 months ago
Great work, Third Wave team
Bari D. Posted 8 months ago
It will be interesting to see where this film will take us
Araxi K. Posted 8 months ago
Beautiful shots of the beach and surf! I've never heard of a coffee movie before, good luck
Sarah B. Posted 8 months ago
Finally a movie about coffee-a constant in most peoples lives! Well done! I want to see more!
Kristen H. Posted 8 months ago
Looks sweet! Casey is stellar, as usual.
Wendy D. Posted 8 months ago
Vanessa rocked the screen - true beauty.
Holly C. Posted 8 months ago
i loved it. I like the whole idea behind coffee being the centre of these characters' lives; I mean, isn't it true in real life??? ;) It's definitely original and from what we can see so far, the acting seems really good and believable. The leads are attractive but, again, believable. And Andrew's shots are, as always, art. I want to see this film made.
Jeremy B. Posted 8 months ago
I like the premise. Using coffee makes it feel fresh. I feel like the trailer should have made me like the characters more or made me laugh. Missed opportunity.
Christopher W. Posted 8 months ago
I love coffee!
Donald Y. Posted 8 months ago
A nice trailer. Could be a great movie.
Shelley T. Posted 8 months ago
Well done trailer but trailer and coffee just seems a bit weird to me together.
Lisa B. Posted 8 months ago
Can't wait to see it!
Jenny W. Posted 8 months ago
So much talent. So much passion. Nice work boys.
Vanessa W. Posted 8 months ago
I want more coffee!!!!!!!
Nelson L. Posted 8 months ago
Coffee, a cute brunette, and surfing. Boom!
Alexa B. Posted 8 months ago
Looks delicious
