After seeing my granny live through this and the impact it had on my mom and my grandpa, this movie moves me to tears.
It's like Santa. God, wouldn't it be great if this were true?
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
Who knows, with science discovering new things exponentially, there might be some kind of technology allows us to do this. Thank you Donal for sharing your thoughts with us. Film like this will maybe give family's some hope as they find themselves in similar circumstances.

Well presented, using personal experiences to motivate a film maker is truly inspiring. it truly shows how they put there whole mind, body and soul into the making of this film.
Richmain Y. Posted 6 months ago
Awesome!!! it definitely shows you did your homework and not just writing it out of thin air and you had lots of research and numbers to prove it. unlike other movies here that just seems to be rehashing old ideas and storyline....example "zombie movies or post apocalyptic movies". Memoria stands out to me the most over of all the others. this movie needs to be made to give the disease more awareness.
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Richmain! Numbers help to give perspective as to how pressing an issue it really is. Many might not realize just how many Canadians alone are affected by Alzheimer's or some form of Dementia. Not only will this film help raise awareness to Alzheimer's, but it will also give new insight as to how everyone can deal with Alzheimer's.

Your video is quite informative and well structured as always. Memoria will surely be a success. The relevance of mapping the brain makes the story even more captivating!
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
I found it interesting how it just happems to be a time that it has a lot of attention in the media. And i wouldnt be surprised if it fuels the next wave of popular films after this Space / Scifi trend. Thanks for commenting Ella, and thanks for your support!

Decent job, I would have liked to see more new footage.
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
We would have too! Time constraits were too tight, with us juggling our future Fundraiser event / Voting Party, to solidifying the script. Thanks Michelle, hope you enjoy the rest of our missions as we try to breakthrough to the Cinecoup TOP 15!
Michelle G. Posted 6 months ago
good luck. I hadn't realized all that was required of you guys this week - it is a lot of work.
Stacey A. Posted 6 months ago
Great pitch! Wouldn't it be amazing if what you are filming about was really truth?
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
Like much of the science it exists today, much of it used to be mere science fiction. With technology rapidly evolving, perhaps one day, such a thing just might be possible. Thank you for watching Stacey!

A topic that hits so close to home for so many of us with loved ones suffering with this debilitating & devastating disease. Loved gaining the insight into your ideas behind the film.
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
I'm glad you enjoydped it Carolyn, thank you for leaving your thoughts with us!
I found that more and more of the people I know, have family or friends that have lived with Alzheimer's. And it's something they might not always have mentioned before, but the film, in a way, opens up the dialogue for people to express their feelings about it. It allows them to connect with others who also have had the same experiences, which is what Memoria is all about. Our connection to eachother.

Really great press pitch, IMHO - #teamstakers
