I like this project a lot. I hope it will continue to production as the concept is excellent. It also has great characters and acting. There is much talent on this project: too much for it to just fade away.
Maikol P. Posted 5 months ago
The project is very much alive. We will keep updating our fans on the project!

The sizzle reel told the concept well. This reminds me of other recent movies about the problems of aging and Alzheimers. I like the idea of lateral thinking - that dreams may hold the key to memory. I hope the project keeps going.

nicley done best of luck guys
Richmain Y. Posted 6 months ago
couldn't make the fundraiser and voting party but i heard it was a success and everyone had fun. I definitely will be there for the premier opening of the movie for sure.

Thank you Joslyn! We hope we get your continued support through to the TOP 15!
Alex P. Posted 6 months ago
The new trailer is excellent. This really demonstrates the potential for making a feature out of Memoria!
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you Alex! We are very proud with the recut trailer, it delivers more emotional impact a concise way, while maintaining the best elements that have drawn the audience in to the project!
Michelle G. Posted 6 months ago
It has a tighter feel to it than the first. good job.
Jamie M. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you Michelle!
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
I have to comment again. This trailer has some excellent acting in it. Like few other projects, we can see the anguish, and gain a feeling that we care about the characters. The sound and editing are very well done. I hope this makes it to the next round.
Jamie M. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you very much for your comments Donald. We have been working hard to show our work and get these concepts out there, and it really makes a difference when fans like you recognize the details!
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
We wait anxiously for the results! The actors, Dennis, Artjom, and Vanessa did a great job in projecting their emotions in subtle yet powerful ways. Thank you for praising their work! Without it, it wouldn't be the same trailer. Thanks Donald!
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
This story is so important to tell. It is like taking reality a step further and giving hope to those who suffer from this situation. It's an excellent concept. There is much to like about this project.
Alysa K. Posted 6 months ago
Would've liked to see something different from this trailer, it's very similar to your first. I still like the concept of this movie though.
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
It's similar because I felt the structure of the first one had its strengths, just dragged on a bit too long whereas this has good pace to it. The Redux mission itself challenged us to make a 'better' version of the trailer that we originally created, by making small changes that would strengthen the final product. The mission was not to create a "whole" new trailer. Thanks Alysa! Hope we make it through to the TOP 15!
Violette P. Posted 6 months ago

This production is worth funding since in our dreams is where our true reality is.
Jamie M. Posted 6 months ago
Dreams really are very interesting, and I'm glad that you point out how within our "unconscious" might be the answers!

Richmain Y. Posted 6 months ago
The idea and concept still blows me away, this redux is as interesting and mind blowing as the first with just this little visuals it captures what a person with this disease would have to go through, i know some may disagree but everyone will go through different symptoms and i know with the full movies they will capture all of them. excellent job.
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
Memoria will definetely try to explore many of the aspects of what it is like for someone with Alzheimer's and what it is like for their loved ones to aswells. Thank you Richmain!
Jamie M. Posted 6 months ago
Really awesome to hear that you are still blown away by our concept! Thank you for your support Richmain!

Jamie M. Posted 6 months ago
Yes, we were able to tighten the edit and still convey the same feeling. Thanks for your support Kevin!
Dina B. Posted 6 months ago
The redux is equally powerful as the 1st version each can hold its own as a trailer. Very very poignant and touching for those who has a love one going through this. Well done
Jamie M. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you Dina! For you to say that we deliver an equally powerful trailer means so much! Thank you for your support!

Brock S. Posted 6 months ago
Great way to approach a difficult subject, a bit obvious perhaps but I like it.
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you Brock! It is an extremely subject to tackle, especially because of way people who have diseases such as Alzheimer's might be represented on film. Which isn't the case with Memoria, where we will get the audience to connect emotionally with the characters, making for a much more personal, relatabke experience. What aspect of the trailer felt obvious?
Brock S. Posted 6 months ago
I mean the text titles that say "what if you could remember a memory even after its gone" and "what if in a dream you could remember" are examples of telling the audience what it's about rather than showing them/letting them figure it out through the visuals.
To give a practical example: you wouldn't want the trailer for Inception to say "What if you didn't know what was real and what was a dream." "What if you relied on a chess piece to tell the difference" or something of that nature. You let the visuals cue to you what the movie will be about without fully understanding things that you will learn throughout the course of the movie. Hope that makes sense.
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
Interesting. The difference though is that Memoria isn't about giving you the twist in the film that dreams are involved, whereas Inception hook was all about tricking the audience. By giving away some of that in the trailer sets it up to the audience in the way that it is understood that Memoria is more about knowing it's connection to dreams in the first place, because it is essentially the hook that interests people. It took a bit of thought to figure how much much should be given away in the original trailer. But it was then, that I realized that the audience should know in the simplest and most obvious way that it is about the connection between Alheimer's and dreams, because I felt it wasn't needed to be more abstract about it, and lave the audiences guessing about the concept. thanks for your thoughts Brock! Very Appreciated. Will definitely keep that mind.
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
Damnit you did it again. I'm all teary again. I love this movie. My bias is showing for sure but I don't care. I so want it to be true.
It is so well done guys. I want to see this movie
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
It's that feeling RIGHT THERE! "I so want it to be true" that we want to capture in this film. The feeling of wanting to connect again, the hope of being able to talked to a loved one amd knowing that they are ok, and not "lost". Thank you Donal for sharing your thoughts with us! Really appreciated.
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
STOP MAKING ME TEARY! You understand what it is like to watch someone go through this and you really captured it. I think you may have captured what it is like for the one suffering as well.
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
It's what we want to capture in the story. The disease doesn't just affect the person, but everyone around them as well. Thank you Donal!
Maikol P. Posted 6 months ago
