Bari D. Posted 5 months ago
Love the Opening scene with Sizzle Reel Video. Grade Nine is a promising film that is sure to entertain. Good luck guys!
Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
The sizzle trailer is great. A nice record of the path over the last few months. I think I like this project especially because it has young actors portraying what teens go through - something many parents do not understand. This project could be considered as an adult education feature. Good luck in the next round.
jane D. Posted 5 months ago
very well done best of luck guys
Janine F. Posted 5 months ago
Very good sizzle reel - has a perfect mix of everything in it.
Natalia N. Posted 5 months ago
Well-editied sizzle reel. It summed everything up just perfectly
Terrence A. Posted 6 months ago
love it
Destiny P. Posted 5 months ago
i love it too terrence :)
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
This is a very professional trailer. It's well thought out and edited. From a few short videos I've come to like the characters and would like to see their story on the screen.
Heather A. Posted 6 months ago
Looks like a relatable story.
Sherry H. Posted 6 months ago
I like the way it relates to people's experience in high school - but it was done too much that I lost interest. It's a good idea, but perhaps focus on the character and action than the words.
Dave R. Posted 6 months ago
I actually found that the trailer was more engaging with the additional information. Again, it is scary how this could be any of us D&D geeks story. Right down to the romantic intrigue of a girl joining the group!
Afzal H. Posted 6 months ago
Your original trailer was much better and way more enticing - it kept the audience wanting more. This trailer gives too much information, it's like I have already seen everything and there is no need to go to the theatre because there is no anticipation left for anything new. I love this story regardless :)
Jay R. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks for you feedback #AlwaysLearning - don't worry though - there is much you dont know :)
Afzal H. Posted 6 months ago
Awesome!
courtney n. Posted 6 months ago
You guys always impress me. I'm just worried you're not keeping much to the imagination. :( its such a shame because its a great idea that has so much potential to grow. Good luck!
Helen M. Posted 6 months ago
As with the original I could see this as a made for tv movie over a feature film at theaters...amusing but not for all
Jay R. Posted 6 months ago
Dont worry, when I quit my day job and get a little cash infusion - i promise to knock your socks off!
Helen M. Posted 6 months ago
I'm sure you will too...talent can't be denied! lol There's definitely no lack of talent here for sure & I wish you all the best!
Mack B. Posted 6 months ago
Much tighter as well as using the new content. Great work.
Melissa H. Posted 6 months ago
Oh the drama of grade nine. How I hated that year! Nice portrayal of things grade niners go through. Good luck.
John K. Posted 6 months ago
much tighter...nice work
Cat R. Posted 6 months ago
I liked both your trailers, I just feel, tho, that I have seen the whole movie already and have no interest in going to the theatre, other than supporting Canadian film. I may rent it.
Indigo M. Posted 6 months ago
Excited! Like the new trailer, hope this film wins!
R2 D. Posted 6 months ago
Really nice fella! Great to see the new footage in there...!! Good luck hope to see you cats in the top 15!
Khat V. Posted 6 months ago
Any film buddies who haven't checked this out, DO IT! And vote! Lookin' good boys!
Michelle G. Posted 6 months ago
great trailer! well put together.
Holly F. Posted 6 months ago
The characters, the humour, the nostalgia. Yep! Nailed it. See you in the Top 15, peeps. No doubt about it. :)
Tiara A. Posted 6 months ago
Didn't seem to change much from the original, a bit snappier perhaps. I'd consider maybe leaving out some information, feels like I already have the general jist of the story.
Jeff C. Posted 6 months ago
Nice work guys! Tight!
Katie T. Posted 6 months ago
Just goes to show that a little nip and tuck actually adds something to the whole package. Great job.
Heath A. Posted 6 months ago
Good trailer!
Bert T. Posted 6 months ago
Great re-make
Natalia N. Posted 6 months ago
I felt like this trailer jumped to much from scene to scene. I think your original trailer was more effective in delivering the story
Brenda M. Posted 6 months ago
Liked it but felt it could have been shorter and more effective
June B. Posted 6 months ago
SO well written and cast. Can't wait to see this one. Good luck you guys!
Lu C. Posted 6 months ago
Trying to be patient while waiting for something new and seeing how the story develops. Be careful that the story is not too predictable.
Joe M. Posted 6 months ago
Great job.
John K. Posted 6 months ago
certainly one of my top 10 movies on the site... best of luck
David M. Posted 6 months ago
Still like what you've got here. I'd love to see the final film one day. Best of luck getting into the Top 15.
Deanna O. Posted 6 months ago
I love the camera work ion this piece. I would love to see a full flushed out version of this film. I have a son in Grade 9 and these characters seem like any number of his peers.
Glynis R. Posted 6 months ago
A little bit disappointed in how similar it is to the original...still love the concept though.
Marcelle A. Posted 6 months ago
Still love it!! See you in the top 15
Bari D. Posted 6 months ago
great guys - see you in Top 15
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
enjoyd t
Lynne M. Posted 6 months ago
Much the same as the original but still enjoyed it
Mackie B. Posted 6 months ago
I enjoyed seeing the new content in this trailer. I loved the music.
Leanne B. Posted 6 months ago
very well done, was hoping to see some new content from this team.
Jennifer C. Posted 6 months ago
Not much different from your original. While this is one of my favorites I think if you want to stay in the competition you need to read advice given and follow the mission better.
Brock S. Posted 6 months ago
Original. Tight. Great work.
Matt M. Posted 6 months ago
Agree with much of what's been said. Difficult to compress the quality of the original down to 90 seconds. -Team Rabbit
Kerri S. Posted 6 months ago
Fantastic! Can't wait to see this as a feature film! :D
Bernardo C. Posted 6 months ago
Good job. The best one out there.
sue g. Posted 6 months ago
love it - if it ain't broke don't fix it!
Mital G. Posted 6 months ago
Nice tighter edit with some new stuff from Speechless added. Works well - no need to change the formula - no need to reinvent the wheel. Well done.
Jay R. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Mital - thats kinda what we were thinking - especially with most of our feed back being positive.
Mark V. Posted 6 months ago
The trailer wasn't an improvement from your last one. I felt the editing was to snap in and snap out of the scene really fast. You really need to let the trailer slow down at the emotional parts instead of fast pacing it all the way through. While watching this I felt like you guys didn't respond to the feedback from your original, you guys just made trailer number two.
Richard M. Posted 6 months ago
Very concise,good job!
Jay R. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks!
Grayson W. Posted 6 months ago
Wasn't that different from your original...you didn't really take any of the feedback given and I think that's what this mission was about.
I do hope your film gets made though, just not by Cinecoup. It still had a bit of freaks & geeks rip-off on it, but that could be a good things since that show is brilliant! Love the curly head kid!
Tyler S. Posted 6 months ago
It would have been really nice to see something different from this group but they stuck with the same thing. The beginning was the exact same. This isn't a redux in comparison to other teams.
Jay R. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks man. I guess since we had so much positive feedback about the original it was hard to change the trailer fundamentally.
Tyler S. Posted 6 months ago
This is the exact same trailer, just organized differently. There is nothing new shown to the audience.
Jay R. Posted 6 months ago
The reality is it is we were not instructed to shoot a new trailer so we decided to just to tighten. Its a full 30 seconds shorter, which is significant.
Tyler S. Posted 6 months ago
I’m not criticizing you on the lack of new material, what I am criticizing is the cookie cutter style you’ve chosen. As you said this is a tighter trailer with 30 seconds less content and that’s exactly what it is a shorter version of your first trailer. To me a shorter recut is not something original unlike what other teams are producing. New doesn’t have to come in the form of new content but can come in the form of a brand new feeling. This trailer just doesn’t do that, it doesn’t make me feel any more or less for these characters.
Julia Richard M. Posted 6 months ago
Yes wonderful job. Can not wait till it is in the movies. Keep up the good work guys.
