you all have done a great job here. great story and great film making. where did you find these young actors?
James D. Posted 5 months ago
This looks like a decent coming of age movie. Well done.
Bren K. Posted 5 months ago
This looks really good excellent work team. It's no wonder that you made it as far as you have. Keep up the good work!
Irene R. Posted 5 months ago
Interesting character development. I would like to have seen more of the love interest dynamic. Still great though
Seamus D. Posted 5 months ago
I love the scene with the bicycle and the reference to titanic. Brilliantly done and great young actors
Destiny P. Posted 5 months ago
hilarious ahhaha :)
Levi C. Posted 5 months ago
This project, like most other top tenners, has many of the qualities required to fulfill the expectations of Canadian Independent film audiences. None but one, however succeeded to induce a white-nuckled, nail-biting next several months as the world awaits the arrival of WOLF COP!
David R. Posted 5 months ago
funny, but i felt it needed dialogue. Good scene for such a short window of time to make it in. Impressive
Howard A. Posted 5 months ago
I love the scene with the bicycle and the reference to titanic. Brilliantly done and great young actors
Lee V. Posted 5 months ago
I like this. I hope the rest of the movie has a similar pace. A quick and sweet montage to grow a bond together really works in this scene.
Mike Q. Posted 5 months ago
Oh yeah, Wolf Cop has some competition too....
Henry O. Posted 5 months ago
This project is by far my favourite! I enjoyed some of the other videos however I love dnd and this looks really cool!
Jacna J. Posted 5 months ago
This reminds me of my own school experience. I'd love to see this full film along with some of the other film ideas in the competition.
Christy L. Posted 5 months ago
I absolutely love this! This transformation from nerdy-kid to rowdy-boy is fun to watch. These charaters are so interesting, I can't wait!
Sarah A. Posted 5 months ago
Really love this one! Looks like lots of fun to film :)
victor l. Posted 5 months ago
Full of clips of doing "bad" which do not need speech to make sense of it all! I like the variety of camera angles.
Ron J. Posted 5 months ago
Does vomiting count as dialogue? Interesting scene, but do you really need to become the evil to know the evil?
Kim M. Posted 5 months ago
Love the glasses! Hilarious!
B K Singh R. Posted 5 months ago
wonderful .... so good to see very enjoyable ...
Cyndi F. Posted 5 months ago
I really like this concept, reminds me a lot of my own school experience. I'd love to see this full film along with some of the other film ideas in the competition.

Inderjeet R. Posted 5 months ago
I love the comedy in the beginning and the intencity at the end
kael v. Posted 5 months ago
this is so great you guy...you have no idea how long i have been waiting for a feature film like this to hit the theatres. Reminds me of stories that my dad would tell me before bed about his childhood in the 1980's. hope it makes it so that i can take him to see it on the big screen
Marly V. Posted 5 months ago
This is extraordinary!!! An idea worth sharing with the world . Very cool. I really want this to become a real movie. The acting is superb.
pam v. Posted 5 months ago
wow you guys this is an extremely rad idea for a movie. I have been wanting something like this to come to the theaters since i finished the 1rst and only season of freaks and geeks really brings me back to my days in grade 9 in 1986. this movie has got to win.
Luke M. Posted 5 months ago
You've got to start somewhere right!? Ok he's a follower and yes he's following a bad apple but I can see such redeeming qualities in him. They'll get caught by some authority figure and figure it out!

The depth of the characters is one of the reasons that this movie is so appealing.....great work guys!:)
Annabelle H. Posted 5 months ago
I really like how the video shows AJ's transformation into a different world so seamlessly. Also full of humor!
Rob V. Posted 5 months ago
I'm picking Grade Nine to go thru to the top 5. Well done. I'm looking forward to seeing the full movie.

Sean R. Posted 5 months ago
awesome scene guys, good luck with the rest of the competition, you and alien abduction to go though to the top 5!
Mack B. Posted 5 months ago
Love the graffiti logo. I love the fact that you guys can get such impressive locations. It really looks like we were looking through a time machine.
Lisa B. Posted 5 months ago
I really like the simplistic story told with no words. Filled with youthful angst, humor and drama. This is awesome! you guys rock!
Brenden K. Posted 5 months ago
This is quite different from your trailer. I kind of like this direction, although it seems to make it more similar to other film concepts.
Doug M. Posted 5 months ago
I am not so sure about this film's direction. Yes, we have an interesting take on the degree to which many youth (and older folks) will sacrifice their own sense of social mores to "belong".
Mary L. Posted 5 months ago
They wake up in that spot in the morning, all huddled together for warmth and their pants around their ankles, and skid marks in their Y-fronts.
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
Speechless was a great example of a story without dialogue. The team really aced the mission. Hope you are in the top 15 tonight. This is a great opportunity for the actors and the team.
Crystal L. Posted 6 months ago
Liked the spirit behind this, really entertaining piece.. Pretty hilarious to see what they got up to in their "rebellious" activities
Jennifer K. Posted 6 months ago
Love the humor and fredom in youth ...suggesting it not be so charcater scripted like neopolian dynamiteish...I like the ethinci diversity bully content recognitions.
John M. Posted 6 months ago
score used in place of the dialogue in this clip rocked - but the use of emotions really did a great job in showing how the geeks really feel trying to fit in with the bad boy
Melissa W. Posted 6 months ago
Such a relevant film for all the teens going through highschool now and for everyone who's 'grown up'. It captures one of the essential truths about humanity - that we need to feel a sense of belonging, no matter what we have to do to get that feeling. This reminds me of Perks of Being a Wallflower - not that their similar, just the whole coming of age in highschool and doing what you need to to feel liek you belong. They both have that poignant, timeless feel to them and while set in the past are both just as important today. This movie needs to be made because kids and adults everywhere need to see it.
Dawn E. Posted 6 months ago
Talented group of actors. You can feel AJ's internal struggle between fitting in and doing what's right. I love this character.
Natalie T. Posted 6 months ago
This film demonstrates the importance of belonging at all cost even if it goes against how characters really feel.
Ross W. Posted 6 months ago
Wasn't a huge fan of this one. Well filmed though, are you sure you need the million in that case....?
Toby G. Posted 5 months ago
Yes.
Bren W. Posted 6 months ago
There's something very small town, old time, bad boy about it. The music was used well to cover the fact there was no dialogue, and totally fit the scene. LOVE IT
Jessica C. Posted 6 months ago
This shows a fantastic grasp on the what I am expecting the film to excel into soon. It completely captures the feeling of what it is like to go through what the characters are experiencing, and because it is silent, allows us to look more at their emotions and body language. Beautifully constructed :)
TJ H. Posted 6 months ago
I like it but some of the bits feel a bit awkward without dialogue, other than the constraints of the mission I really like it!
Kreme T. Posted 6 months ago
This shows a great range of emotions. It really expands on our understanding of these characters, especially Jodi. Looks great!
Astra L. Posted 6 months ago
This is my favourite of your mission videos so far! I like how even though this is set in the 80s this kind of stuff is part or teen culture today, and the lighter part was very interesting!
Kristi H. Posted 6 months ago
Speechless mission has left me speechless!! Excited to see how this film works out. Good luck Team!
Timothy W. Posted 6 months ago
These scenes really ring home; I'm loving this 'speechless' and the story told therein. Nothing like a campfire in the middle of... well, anywhere.
Karen J. Posted 6 months ago
great to see shots not seen in the trailer!
Andrew Q. Posted 6 months ago
The making of a true badass! Great reaction shots from all of the actors, and the brand of shenanigans they get up to feels just dangerous enough.
Ron K. Posted 6 months ago
The speechless – grade nine clip tells a great after school story of every nerd in a small town when they get together with the “cool” kids. I love the opening scene (yes that’s me sitting on the steps, with nothing to do after school because I have no cool friends), which quickly transitions to “this is how we have fun after school.” I am so watching this movie when it’s made. Great music selection, really fits the ‘look-out-rebel-out-having-fun’ theme. Along with the great music goes fantastic camera/image setup (e.g. boy in back sawing bike chain, boy in foreground as his look-out). The whole clip is so much fun (not to mention my flashbacks) that I had to watch it again and again. Thanks! Good luck!
Tara T. Posted 6 months ago
lookin good boys!! love watching each scene as it comes out and how it's all coming together! Can't wait for more!
Lew D. Posted 6 months ago
“I'll be playing Jocastiel, a third level elf wizardess with - “ “Wizardess? What's up with that?” “It's a real word. Look it up.” “No, I mean, why is she a female?” “Genetics, I guess.” “It doesn't make any sense.” “What? Dude, you're playing a half orc, half centaur . . . that doesn't make any sense.” “It makes perfect sense. Bloodhoof is super-bodacious. He can bite, punch twice and kick your spine out through your stomach in the same round! He carries an enchanted greatsword and he has a Dire Wolf companion with flawless loyalty!” “How does that even work, though? An orc getting it on with a centaur lady? That's disgusting!” “Well, how do you know it wasn't a centaur dude and an orc lady?” “One – that's even more disgusting. Two, centaurs have too much class to go around banging some nasty orc wench. Three, how the hell does an orc give birth to a centaur?” “I dunno, dude, orc ladies got some child-bearing hips in that monster manual drawing. And centaurs get really drunk, all the time. It's kind of their thing.” “STOP. Just stop. We are not having this conversation again.” “Fine, but you never answered my question.” “I don't even remember your question.”

I really wanted to give this one a chance as I appreciate the concept. Did you shoot anything new here or used old footage. It seems put together not new
Madelyn R. Posted 6 months ago
Haha Love this. The casting is really great and the heart and the enthusiasm of the actors is really refreshing
Alexandra S. Posted 6 months ago
Another favourite! I love that this Speechless video tells a detailed story of the trials and tribulations of fitting in during those awkward teenage years!
Joe M. Posted 6 months ago
One begins to realize how much time is spent trying to be quiet in high school.
Seycove D. Posted 6 months ago
So Fantastic! i really hope this project wins and i am voting for you guys all the way! good luck Grade nine :)
Anthony S. Posted 6 months ago
I like the close-ups used. Great scenes and variety of them. I liked how so much was accomplished in so little time.
Kevin C. Posted 6 months ago
Really nice! Great cinematography, casting, and art direction. Keep up the good work guys! Excited to see more!
Filip S. Posted 6 months ago
nicely shot, very interesting montage, this is something I would watch, Its feels like campymovies I used to watch as a kid..
Jolianne L. Posted 6 months ago
Genius and so powerful, love it!
Maddi M. Posted 6 months ago
Awesome! i love this so much. i think i have watched this mission video about five times. its just one of the missions but i still found it really moving :)
Riley W. Posted 6 months ago
Great choice of music! Funny and relatable concept guys! I've enjoyed your idea from the start. Grade Nine is a fantastic production team. Nice work! Team BAD
Lisa a. Posted 6 months ago
I really like your ideas and concept. Grade 9 was horrible for me and I too was an outcast. The kids are great but acting needs work. good try
Vance A. Posted 6 months ago
I really enjoy watching this project. Ease off on "acting" the story, just be in it.
Sara S. Posted 6 months ago
Funny. As I was watching I kept thinking that I was such a good kid... All in all, good scene. Agreed that the actors need to calm down their on-screen a bit... The difference between theatre and film acting...
Chad M. Posted 6 months ago
The music and angles were good and it had some funny moments but I think the acting was a bit overdone, almost like they were trying to be characters from other movies that are similar.
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
you guys rock
Zaid L. Posted 6 months ago
Camera work was done well, Music was awesome in this one. While not my favourite project on here you guys are doing an exceptional job. Keep it up!
Liam A. Posted 6 months ago
You guys are awesome!
Liam L. Posted 6 months ago
You guys rock!
Dave S. Posted 6 months ago
I really thought the music in this one was really awesome. Way to go, and keep up the great work!!!!!
Dave S. Posted 6 months ago
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!! i truly hope this becomes movie!!! it looks so moving and fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! hope you win!
Kimberly M. Posted 6 months ago
I love this entire project so far! im rooting for you! this whole concept looks amazing. you could pull of such and amazing feature length film with this i believe!
Elizabeth S. Posted 6 months ago
Great job guys! I love the whole freaks and geeks feel of the scene. Hiliarious shooting, really added a lot to it!
Sarah W. Posted 6 months ago
This was really well shot, and your cinematography and choice of shots is nice, but this isn't my favourite project - maybe just a preference thing. Good job though!
Dinah H. Posted 6 months ago
Aha this is great! Totally reminds me of grade nine, not just my own story but the story of many others!
Melanie O. Posted 6 months ago
I remember grade 9 and hated it, badly bullied, This captures some of the feel but wish you had some new stuff, this is a repeat. Great kids!!
Toby G. Posted 6 months ago
A repeat? It's all new...
Christina M. Posted 6 months ago
I would definitely like to see more. The music was chosen really well for this mission. It really gets the viewer intrigued.
Daniella M. Posted 6 months ago
These actors are incredible. I hope this becomes an actual movie!! I want to see it!! Every clip you guys post is such fun to watch.
Thomas L. Posted 7 months ago
I love this peice, when I watch it dialogue just enters my head and I can totally relate to being those kids! They nailed it with life in 1989 as young teenager. But I see how kids of today can't relate with their sanitized life and simulated realities... And to that I say "too bad for you, you missed out!"
Tah the T. Posted 7 months ago
Yep, certainly fits the bill for most ninth grade boys I've known—doing ridiculous things just for sake of looking cool/tough. Made me chuckle, though.
Lindsay F. Posted 7 months ago
Hahahah. The high bike scene is hilarious! ..and the burning...the things boys will do to look tough.
Lindsay A. Posted 7 months ago
Ahhh yes grade nine. This was fantastic. Especially when he had to sneak his glasses on when he was on lookout!
Andrew W. Posted 7 months ago
Love the feel. Totally relatable to me as someone who hit Grade 9 in 1990. Experimenting, causing sh*t and trying to fit in.
Loveval A. Posted 7 months ago
Good job. Really like your story and look forward to seeing more. Grade nine what a crazy time. Good luck!
Kelly B. Posted 7 months ago
This is really well done. It's raw, and in a nutshell, it's about conformity, it's about fitting in. Some might not think this relates to today's teens (and yes most are likely sitting online a lot of the time) but when this film took place this is what kids did: they got into trouble, they experimented, they pushed the limits. Dominant versus subordinate. Everyone wants to fit in and everyone wants a friend. This video really captures this very well.
charlie e. Posted 7 months ago
(I'm enjoying the kids who are commenting about how they are teenagers and didn't do shit like this, therefore it's unrealistic. Yeah, because ya'll spend your time inside on the Internet instead.) I really liked this montage and the "good kid being initiated by the bad kid" vibe it had. It reminded me a little bit of Hesher, which I mean as a total compliment. And the branding initiation at the end was great.
Grayson W. Posted 7 months ago
this felt too "kids do bad things when they are teens" when really its way more chill than that. D&D is cool though (rare nowadays)
Parker W. Posted 7 months ago
I'm in school right now and I can tell you being a kid isn't actually like this, i think you have the wrong idea. This isn't really going to appeal to the younger generation sorry
Jay R. Posted 7 months ago
Remember - it is a period peice - 1989. No one person is the authority on what being a kid is like - every single person has their own experience - though we believe the idea of being an outsider looking for an identity is pretty universal.
Colby S. Posted 7 months ago
But it's 1989 and in a small town.
Andrew L. Posted 7 months ago
Sound track is great! Your Cameraman does a great job as do your actors...If I wasn't voting for my own film I would for yours!
Joe Y. Posted 7 months ago
Nicely done! It nails the thrill of adolescent rebellion and hits on the fact that caving to peer pressure is all just a part of growing up.
Hugh P. Posted 7 months ago
hey kids next time you try and steel a bike, cut the chain not the lock. You have to be there all day cutting the lock
Jay R. Posted 7 months ago
Actually, we almost severed the lock in just a few short takes - not that I condone theft.
Hugh P. Posted 6 months ago
think how many bikes you could steal with bolt cutters
Candice M. Posted 7 months ago
Great job guys you rock this. All the time and hard work shows in this mission. Keep up the great work
Matt D. Posted 7 months ago
I love to glasses and the havoc that is created. A real sense of fitting as a result of sharing some physical action whether it is illegal, or stupid, or both. I like it. I believe it.
Trish M. Posted 7 months ago
Some moments worked for me but I found that the acting was overdone somewhat, maybe trying to copy those who have gone before them? I think a more natural approach would have sold it to me better. And maybe a different choice of music.. Definitely some good moments though!
Shafer C. Posted 7 months ago
Well done. The lack of speech worked great in this. Some engaging moments. I think it could benefit from some different music choices though.
Bari D. Posted 7 months ago
Very good guys - reaching out to the dark side of the School Knights. Bringing back the times while in school. And of course I love the fact of "Fulton" school.
Louise M. Posted 7 months ago
Hilarious!! I thought the comedic elements worked well, but life on the wrong side of tracks only seems to be about doing things wrong. Seemed a little to stereotypical, perhaps? Would have been interesting to see something unexpected in Jodi's life.
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
Great soundtrack to your clip. The actors really fit their roles. I couldn't picture anyone else playing these parts now
Thomas P. Posted 7 months ago
Hm, I think this maybe struggled as a bit as a comedy without dialogue, but it was definitely a good showing for you guys. You can definitely see the growth in the characters, and the music makes it a great fun montage!
Gayle B. Posted 7 months ago
This really does take me back to my small town roots and the every weekend parties and various ways we killed time. Even as a girl I can relate.
Richard B. Posted 7 months ago
terrific, but at the same time kind of awkward. I think this is due to the forced comic relief that you have tried to put into a serious subject.
Anna-Angela S. Posted 7 months ago
I'm actually so ready to fan girl about this movie, it's going to be amazing!
Denise D. Posted 7 months ago
This is so funny and so poiniant, quite in keeping with what you have shown us so far. I marvel at how you are deveiopping your characters.
Nancy R. Posted 7 months ago
I understand the portrayal of peer pressure. Just not sure that the comedic aspect does justice to a serious topic
Geoff W. Posted 7 months ago
It kinda feels hyper-restrained; not in a Wes Anderson, symmetrical and carefully plotted kind of way, but in a safe, medium-two shot stable camera flat colour correction subdued joy kind of way. I want to live and experience and enjoy this period of my life; I want to see visual and aural expressions of risks being taken and things going wrong. The puking did that. What if they got caught stealing the candy bar? What if they ran into someone who bitched about the graffiti? what if we felt some danger? the crazy thing I remember about being in grade 9 is that I felt some invincibility, yes, but also the sense that these were the times where what I did defined the rest of my life and if I fucked up, the consequences would be catastrophic. And that reminds me: nothing communicates impending catastrophe like girls. where are the girls? girls and danger, that's what I'm saying. oh yeah, and some cheaper gear to play around with :)
Naomi K. Posted 7 months ago
i like that he's training them into the ways of delinquency. i especially like the bit where the boy with glasses is high and riding on the back of the bike, arms out.
Lori M. Posted 7 months ago
I can appreciate what you were trying to do with this challenge - and I think you were almost there. I found it a little disjointed, but really liked the "other side of the tracks" angle. Look forward to seeing more!
Kirk S. Posted 7 months ago
Good job. It brought back some less than pleasant memories of my misspent youth. I hope this project makes it into the next round. Keep up the good work.
Daisy F. Posted 7 months ago
haha getting even more laughs outta me. this project looks fun and hilarious. laughing out loud as i watch it.
Angelo R. Posted 7 months ago
Nicely done. Captures the essence the era. Nice story arc within the piece as well.
Peter M. Posted 7 months ago
Wow! This movie looks well produced and I believe it was put together by a strong team. Now, where to get my own ring like that.
Semantha M. Posted 7 months ago
yes I think there should be more movies about teen boys as I will never understand what they go though with peer pressure and the "oaths" they abide by
Lindsay B. Posted 7 months ago
I love these guys & want each one of them to have their own show. Starting with the glasses duo. Loved the drunken tower shout out to Dazed & Confused, whether intentional or not.
Adam K. Posted 7 months ago
Cool video.
Marcelle A. Posted 7 months ago
I am really intrigued to see this storyline developed. I like the idea of exploring small town teenage rebellion and bonding
Sean B. Posted 7 months ago
Does screaming 'YEAHHH' count as speech? These guys are very talented and I am sure the movie will be great but these guys don't deserve the $.
Toby G. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks for the compliments! Just wondering why you don't think we deserve the $?
Suvi P. Posted 7 months ago
I don't really know about this one. Obviously well done, but confusing. For me the music didn't quite work but it suited the scene.
Mital G. Posted 7 months ago
You've just contradicted yourself in one sentence;)
Cam L. Posted 7 months ago
This one was a bit confusing? Didn't seem to match up with the trailer? The use of the no dialogue section wasn't the greatest, but overall the cinematography and your young cast are fantastic!!
Nina F. Posted 7 months ago
I like the teens. They are good actors. Not sure what they are up to, it seems "no good". It captures the dichotomy of teen boys. Good job.
Parker W. Posted 7 months ago
I dunno about this one...it doesnt seem to fit at all with your trailer, and I don't think it was a creative use of the no dialogue part. Being a teenager really isn't like this (having been one a few years ago). It just kind of seems like a few old guys trying to be "cool". However, your actors are good and the cinematography is nice, not my favourite scene though, but on the filmmaking side i think it fell short.
Angelo R. Posted 7 months ago
... you'd have to be a teenager a long time ago .... being a teenager really was like that ... from my experience ...
Jason L. Posted 7 months ago
A little disjointed at times but I like the actors. Also really like the comedic aspect to this mission video.
David F. Posted 7 months ago
"Now what?" said AJ. "This is kid stuff," said Jodi. "I think we should see if Mr. Sigfusson's ski-doo can still make it across the river." "But it's not winter —" "Exactly."
Dalton P. Posted 7 months ago
Peer pressure-its alive and real at any age-interesting, what will be the outcome of their quest to perhaps create a Gang-the music was okay.
Jeremy B. Posted 7 months ago
You guys are so close to capturing something special. Keep going, I'm loving it so far.
Carmela V. Posted 7 months ago
Good job at capturing teens wanting to belong and connect with someone. The merry-go-round (1:05) shot was great!
Sarah T. Posted 7 months ago
A great mixing of hilarity with that beautiful intimacy that develops in boys' teenaged friendships. Lovely. And well done!
Susanne G. Posted 7 months ago
The trailer was much more entertaining, I am disappointed in this as it appears to be edited shots thrown together at the last minute. Not sure what your scope was for this but I think you missed it :o(
Misha G. Posted 7 months ago
Not the most popular opinion, but I don't see a lot of character growth.. as a short, though, this is pretty well done for the length.
Kristin S. Posted 7 months ago
Friendships, being a leader and a follower, where do you go, what will serve you best?
Cinnamon C. Posted 7 months ago
I really enjoyed that. A real coming of age movie. For boys.
Ken K. Posted 7 months ago
I think this movie has a very strong chance, it looks really great, the editing looks great and the the effects look even better, I can't wait until it comes out.
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
omg that was rad!
Ryan B. Posted 7 months ago
it's like this movie has already been shot, edited, and awaits release! how did you get this done with so many actors, locations and complex shots?
Jay R. Posted 7 months ago
An amazing cast that are dedicated to this project, a crap ton of hard work & a pinch of know-how.
Jana S. Posted 7 months ago
Looks like potentially funny characters! Didn't catch my attention as far as subject matter goes. Good luck.
Janelle S. Posted 7 months ago
I am loving this film more and more! The character development has improved alot. and 1:05 is hilarious
Cat K. Posted 7 months ago
The squinting back and forth is HILARIOUS! I wear glasses and that is the story of my life without them. Real life stupid kid shit. Awesome.
Allen M. Posted 7 months ago
Very cool. Those characters seem very likeable
Terran B. Posted 7 months ago
well shot and very interesting. The music choise is a little surprising, but i can see a reason to go this way. Teenage movies always seem to be marketable
Donald Y. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting - and typical teenage behaviour. Grade nine is a tough place for teenagers. This expressed it well.
Casey G. Posted 7 months ago
Pretty decent montage scene, although I felt like the mission objective was taken a bit too literally. Maybe a different scene should have been chosen, This one feels like it needs to punctuated with at least a few words imo.
Kyle M. Posted 7 months ago
Hahaha the music is the best part. Nothing like ditching the glasses, smoking and drinking to add a little bad boy to your style.
Clayton P. Posted 7 months ago
What a fantastic montage! This, of course, is such an important period in every young man's life and this video captures that perfectly. As stupid (in hindsight) as these activities are, they mean so much to teenage kids in a small town.
Christabel E. Posted 7 months ago
Great video. This reminds me of that camping fire. Excellent images.
Kelly S. Posted 7 months ago
Its the best when he is riding on the back of the bike arms raised. Fucking awesome!! Who needs words with imagery like that?
Ben S. Posted 7 months ago
That was a pretty fun rebellious coming of age scene. It would have been sweet to have more dungeons and dragons incorporated in it
Paula B. Posted 7 months ago
All the business with the glasses is hilarious. I think that you really lucked out with these kids you cast.
Lu C. Posted 7 months ago
Where are the Dungeons and Dragons?
Lucas P. Posted 7 months ago
You were able to convey a lot of emotion without using any words. This scene reminds me of Freaks & Geeks in a way.
Monique M. Posted 7 months ago
i liked the music and when it abruptly stopped when the kid started to puke. pretty amusing. i also like the sentimental tone at the end.
Kevin P. Posted 7 months ago
I would have liked to have hear more sound effects and foley. Seems like your only strong suite is music (And I wasn't even particularly drawn to it)...
Shaelyn L. Posted 7 months ago
I like that the music helps to really add voice to this scene, but even without it, the actors are all doing amazing jobs :)
Dianne S. Posted 7 months ago
Very good. You managed to bring across the different attitudes and emotions without speech. These guys remind me of my friends in high school.
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Funny. Well done. I think these kids are becoming better actors as this project moves along. Looking forward to the next one
Nelson L. Posted 7 months ago
Some funny and sweet moments in this one. A little Dazed and Confused meets Superbad. I'm enjoying these actors throughout the missions.
Margaret S. Posted 7 months ago
very cute - I like the depiction of 80s nerdiness and the difficulties and dangers of navigating high school - where being a D&D fan probably doesn't win you any cool points. Be true to who you are!
Dahae S. Posted 7 months ago
This speachless clip is not as strong as the trailer, mainly because the dialogue in the film has strong importance, but nevertheless great.
Emily R. Posted 7 months ago
Great job. I loved this mission, you can tell a lot of hard work went into this. Shows your love for film making and how serious you take this competition. Great!
phil d. Posted 7 months ago
Nice job. These characters are really filling out.
Janine F. Posted 7 months ago
What a great bunch of kids you have there.
Melanie K. Posted 7 months ago
Oh my god, this is so funny. I love the glasses, taking them off to be cool, then not being able to see...youve got my vote!
Gord G. Posted 7 months ago
This film reminds me a lot of my time in High School. A great collection of scenes and well filmed.
Theo K. Posted 7 months ago
Great cinematography and casting. Great music but does this mean we get to break the rules and go over by 30 seconds to?
Luke S. Posted 7 months ago
Fun montage and a great series of moments. It does move quick but hey it's a lot of ground to cover in 90 seconds. I just like hanging with these guys. Good job! Team #Starkers
Todd M. Posted 7 months ago
LOVING THIS... Thanks to you guys guys for putting my adolescence out there in all aspects.... You made the trailer and the movie in turn of what I wanted to.... Pulling for this as always #wolfcop and teamsask...
Jennifer E. Posted 7 months ago
I still love the actors. The geeky kids really made me laugh in this mission. Great shots and choice of music.
Ryan H. Posted 7 months ago
These kids own their roles. Well cast and well laid out. Completely relate able for most of us and how we grew up
Patrick G. Posted 7 months ago
you've got some really good young talent here. Loved the playground scene and the cool bike trick. found the campfire scene didn't really fit with the rest of the moments.
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Well put together montage. Nice mixture of scenes. One small issue I had was the playground with other kids then the joint smoking scene looked a little off.
Zach L. Posted 7 months ago
Funny and entertaining scene, but it felt a little bit strange. From watching the trailer, it was weird to see the AJ character committing multiple crimes without much hesitation. Might just be lack of context though.
Kaitlyn M. Posted 7 months ago
Great montage of shots put together here! Some really great moments that give you insight into the shots.
I'm not sure I would agree with all of our soundtrack choices (but, I'll admit, that might just be personal taste.)
The other thing I'll nit-pick is the transition from the shenanigans to the campfire scene. I love what the campfire scene does and tells, and I think it's really important to this section, but the transition felt quite abrupt.
Danny L. Posted 7 months ago
This shows me the worst of grade 9 an unsure out cast is befrended by the school bad ass and is exposed to all things bad you can say no
Daniel F. Posted 7 months ago
I really enjoyed this! Great music and great story told in this. And I LOVE the characters! Very fun to watch.
Joel T. Posted 7 months ago
Almost as good as the trailer! The merry go round shot did it for me. Hilarious.
Rick A. Posted 7 months ago
really well done guys. Like the track and it's cut well to the music. It tells a good story and is shot well.
Cathy F. Posted 7 months ago
Grade 9 was my worst year in high school. Shots are good and love the actors. I think your choice so music is good
Joan L. Posted 7 months ago
I think I was in Grade Nine with those guys. I felt like I knew them and the general overall horribleness of that age.
Jeff U. Posted 7 months ago
This definitely captures the feeling of those early high school adventures, particularly those in a small town where you couldn't just hang out in the 7-11 parking lot.
Gina . Posted 7 months ago
Loved the shots in this mission. Really great quality - can tell your team put a lot of work into this.
Matty G. Posted 7 months ago
Nice work as always boyos!
Matt G. Posted 7 months ago
Amazing job guys. Really brings back memories! I certainly can't wait to see the full length feature.
Nev T. Posted 7 months ago
You guys always come with it! Seems like you have A LOT of resources and support. Interested in how long it took you guys to shoot this. great job!
Toby G. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Nev!
We shot it over one day, 16 hours I think it was, with much needed help from a few friends in the industry who could wear a number of hats. Very grateful to the crew who have come out to help for every mission we have done!
Zolie G. Posted 7 months ago
Definitely feels like a big turning point in the film and the characters are well laid-out to make it work. Bit long?
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Fun vests. Fun fireworks. Fun throw up. Just overall a good time. I would have liked for it to focus on just the two initial characters though. I felt the addition of the others weakened the connection you were trying to build with AJ and Jodi. But again, great work. I want to be friends with these guys.
sue g. Posted 7 months ago
excellent! and now getting to 'know' the characters ...want to see the full length feature now please!
Giovanna G. Posted 7 months ago
This looks great, it really shows the character dynamics. Really looking forward to seeing more of this film.
Cara S. Posted 7 months ago
The start was very strong, I loved it. Were you forced to make it a certain length, though? It seemed like it went on for longer than it needed to. The first part was so strong, though. Loved it.
Andrew S. Posted 7 months ago
Very entertaining! Brings back fond high-school memories. I like the sense of nostalgia this brings.
Amy K. Posted 7 months ago
That was pretty good! At some points, the lack of dialogue felt a little forced - the opening part especially. But, overall - it was really cute. I love the background track!
Holly F. Posted 7 months ago
ah, grade nine, the cusp year. this is quite funny. yes, I am sure your audience will sympathise with the characters.
Clutch W. Posted 7 months ago
Brilliant montage. Especially love the opening sequence of cuts with the hair, jacket, and rings. Plus the bunny-hop. In the final version I think more could be made of the one kid's ten-speed. Like have them light it on fire and ghost-ride it off a cliff...or off a dock. Great job.
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
Great job, love the kid with the mini fro.
Laurel L. Posted 7 months ago
Love the kids. You are doing a great job with the geeky teen angst thing. I think everyone will be able to relate to someone in the cast. Well done.
Cory M. Posted 7 months ago
ah, that takes me back in time - my favourite part is the cut to the puking. When I was in high school, it always seemed like that: fun, fun, fun, then suddenly puking.
Glenn R. Posted 7 months ago
Very good portrayal of the grade nine age group and yes it is a time in life that you have to decide who and what you will follow.....very interesting.
Tim T. Posted 7 months ago
Well done! Love the bit where he's squinting trying to be on the look out. I'd say it takes me back to grade 9, but I'm trying to forgot those years, ha.
Timothy R. Posted 7 months ago
favorite soundtrack so far. once again killing it! -The Last Video store
Brenda L. Posted 7 months ago
this movie touches on a good theme - the struggles of growing up and fitting in - oh the trials and tribulations
B K Singh R. Posted 7 months ago
very nice work ....
Lorette P. Posted 7 months ago
I hope this movie will remind kids not to go on the wrong side of life. Loved young kids. They are doing a great job.
Dave R. Posted 7 months ago
Adventures in bad boyism. I remember going through almost all of these same experiences. The only thing I missed out on was the whole urban camping thing.
Luke B. Posted 7 months ago
Kinda confusing, but I loved the music.
Susan C. Posted 7 months ago
I'm hoping AJ comes back from the other side of the tracks. Not quite where I thought this theme was headed.
Cathie S. Posted 7 months ago
Nice job! Anyone who has attended high school can relate to these guys. Love when the actor has to keep squinting because he is too "cool" to wear glasses!
Teresa T. Posted 7 months ago
Rad.
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
Yep, that's the way it was...slight changes in music and fashion over the years but the feelings remain the same. Everyone's been there. You've hit upon a universal other than birth, love, death and taxes.
Jonny V. Posted 7 months ago
Great job guys! The soundtrack was awesome, and once again the performers did a fantastic job! Looking forward to more from you guys!
Jennifer C. Posted 7 months ago
great music choice, it fits perfectly! Anyone who felt like an outcast in high school can totally relate to this storyline.
Lindsey M. Posted 7 months ago
LOVE LOVE LOVE this! It's a great complete sequence, demonstrates wonderful character development moments and the music used was perfect for the "bad ass" moments.
Anne A. Posted 7 months ago
It seemed a little too long on these kind of scenes. It was well played out without dialogue, though.
Matt P. Posted 7 months ago
nice guys. great job building the relationship between the two characters and really showing the progression from geek to kinda badass. - team Post-Apocalyptica
Julie H. Posted 7 months ago
Sound editing was a bit rough -- I was distracted by the music stopping and then starting. Acting is amazing. Both of the main characters in this clip are really terrific.
charles w. Posted 7 months ago
I love it. It's a relationship-building, coming of age scene pure and simple. It's Canada, it's nerd-world, and it's something all of us can relate to, especially those of us who never felt like they fit in with the in-crowd, which is almost all of us.
Mary G. Posted 7 months ago
good, job. I find no words makes it a little more difficult for comedies vs. dramas. But still well done on your behalf!
Leslie P. Posted 7 months ago
Sweet denim jacket! This shows how much can really be said without actually saying much. Well done, looks like this could be a fun movie.
Meika A. Posted 7 months ago
This doesn't really do justice to the trailer and I felt you used too many cutting floor and repetitive scenes? Was this an after thought?
Amanda C. Posted 7 months ago
Love it, every highschool kid in the world has to love this one. Great job - killen it :)
Sarah D. Posted 7 months ago
Nice, but it did start to feel a bit long for me. It's great to see some more of the characters. I look forward to seeing more of them.
Al D. Posted 7 months ago
Very nice!!! Great character progression...Looking forward to more!!
Jaden N. Posted 7 months ago
Great clips! There are some classic teen rebellion scenes in here. Nice use of a lighter in the final scene.
Gregory H. Posted 7 months ago
Definitely like the character progression shown in such a small amount of time. Interesting reactions to other characters!
Matthew S. Posted 7 months ago
Cool how we got to see a lot more about each character, I like the bonding moment in the end with the fire cool scene
Mikaela C. Posted 7 months ago
Everyone loves a good montage ;) - Team Rabbit
Emily B. Posted 7 months ago
Like how it shows that the good has a rebel moment and shows that he kind of needs to choose now because of the different sides
Annelise L. Posted 7 months ago
Warrior makeover? Transformation spell? General carnage & mayhem? Like to see where this bonding takes our intrepid gamers :-)
Marianne M. Posted 7 months ago
The story and characters are all well shown here. Just wondering about the length. It seems longer than the others?
Marc D. Posted 7 months ago
I like the whole, "nerds turned bad boys" in this scene. The characters are very well cast in this film.
Marc S. Posted 7 months ago
I swear to god I know those kids, at least versions of them. Pretty well done I'm definitely wanting to see more.
Lawrence T. Posted 7 months ago
A great Speechless clip. Love the "bad to the bone" type vibe. The meaning came across loud and clear.
Brad D. Posted 7 months ago
Nice job. You really took this one to heart. I thought you conveyed a lot of different beats without any dialogue really effectively. A testament to your actors as well that they were able to say so much with just their faces. The only gag I didn't so much laugh at was him on the lookout without his glasses and then putting them on.. Everything else was awesome. (Loved when they meet up with the friends and the looks on their faces!)
Andrew I. Posted 7 months ago
I love how there were absolutely no words needed. Humour translated really well and tastefully. Good job guys :)
Ryan F. Posted 7 months ago
This is definitely a movie I would enjoy watching, while chilling out at home. Perhaps on a saturday afternoon. It appears to be well shot and contains a quirky factor that is appealing. Kudos.
Tyler R. Posted 7 months ago
Hilarious! Great job. Deffinately gives more insight into the projects story line and illustrates the type of humor you'll be using in the film. Great job!
Steven J. Posted 7 months ago
I actually don't mean to be rude at all when I say this, but I'm actually getting extremely tired of seeing this film at the top. I have tried to be fair and nice the whole competition but I honestly just DONT understand what the appeal for this flick is. I like to be fair and give everything a chance, but Grade Nine and Long Distance have started to bother me every time I see them. Still good luck, but I just don't think this should be a movie... I wouldn't go see it, I probably wouldn't stream it either.
Jay R. Posted 7 months ago
Hey Steven, I understand. The fact is that this movie is not for everyone. In fact no movie is for everyone. Some will like it some will not. We are just grateful to have an audience and we really appreciate all feed back. Thanks for watching.
Leslie H. Posted 7 months ago
Excellent scene, these actors are very talented; I would see this movie simply based on the characterization. My only complaint is that it was too long; this was only supposed to 90 seconds. A bit of an unfair advantage when a team doesn't stick to the parameters of the assignment.
Jordan N. Posted 7 months ago
From watching the speechless trailer and the original trailer you get the idea that the these two different worlds which attend the same school can meet and experience both or multiple ways of life, nerdy gaming side or, loner troublesome jock life. kids should experience different types of cultures and personalities so they can understand why people the way they are or why they choose to do things that they do!
Heather G. Posted 7 months ago
For grade nines to be speechless is quite impressive. I love how they are still getting into mishcief and having fun just like I did when I was in grade nine. I wonder how much the film will truely represent those in grade nine.
Steven H. Posted 7 months ago
I totally relate to AJ in this clip when he's squinting while on the look out. It reminds me of the time when I snuck into an Adult Film Store and was looking at the box art only centimetres away from my face... I've said too much! Great work guys!
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
That is hilarious! I love those personal stories! - The Dangers of Online Dating
Steven H. Posted 6 months ago
*blush* I should write my own flick. CineCoup 2014 here I come!
payola m. Posted 7 months ago
Well ya gotta put this on the DVD extras section under "Just say NO " promos ! Amazing wardrobe btw - did you use a time machine yo dress these guys !?? And how come there's no A + O = Anarchy button on my keyboard dammit !
Patrick S. Posted 7 months ago
Great production value and the characters are so endearing! 90sec? It felt like they wanted to speak, though... I wonder if the restrictions hadn't been placed on this challenge if the sequence would have contained dialogue...
Jay R. Posted 7 months ago
Hi Patrick, Thanks very much for your positive feedback. The truth of the matter is that our film simply did not have a 90 second sequence that displayed an "A to B sequence" as requested by the mission brief. Two minutes was as short as we could go while still getting across the mini plot arch - and just so you know, every example provided by Cinecoup was over 2mins. -Thanks again
Patrick S. Posted 7 months ago
Cheers. In truth... I can't wait to see Grade 9! Does that make me a week competitor?
Betty H. Posted 7 months ago
The survives the menace by joining the other side. Conflicted, he tries his hand at the menacing side and begins to enjoy his new found power.
Jerry C. Posted 7 months ago
More realistic the some of the Hollywood films
Betty H. Posted 7 months ago
the kid leaves the straight and narrow and gains peace by joining the other side.
Tyler S. Posted 7 months ago
That was entertaining. Totally reminded me of my days back in school hanging out making fires then pukin in them.
Joelle W. Posted 7 months ago
I liked it! The visuals really bring back a lot of feelings from being a teenager even without dialogue. You get it, even without having to say much.
Kelly G. Posted 7 months ago
This was supposed to be 90 seconds, no?
While you guys do good work I'm bothered by the level of artifice involved with this whole shebang. It feels like someone making a movie about dumb shit I did as a kid based off a movie based off a movie about the dumb shit I did as a kid. I like it, I relate to how you mean it, but it feels so heavily produced/constructed that it loses that relatability and begins to feel forced and cliche.
Bill G. Posted 7 months ago
This scene shows the digression of the characters into "bad boys" as they take on new directions in their lives.
Lu C. Posted 7 months ago
Like the GrAde Nine School Knights cover.
Lu C. Posted 7 months ago
So will Jodi stay turned? Will AJ try Jodi's world? Is it too predictable?
Patricia F. Posted 7 months ago
Great choice in the kids for this film but the clip falls short of the concept that I really like. Maybe something new would have been better?
Matt S. Posted 7 months ago
What happened to us only have 90 seconds?
Yvonne L. Posted 7 months ago
yes....hmmmm....
Simon H. Posted 7 months ago
Pretty good guys
Amy Z. Posted 7 months ago
Still following and enjoying your work so much. Every mission is so well done and put together. Great job!
Matt M. Posted 7 months ago
Haha. Yeah bunny-hop! Getting to a bunch of different locations on this mission provided a nice sense of the world the characters live in.
Helen C. Posted 7 months ago
Great job on this weeks mission video, I am excited about this project. Great charcters and storyline.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Great job on this week's mission once again! You have some really great young actors! (Team Rosalind Revenge)
Kev M. Posted 7 months ago
I like it. Gives you a sense of who the characters. Its comedic and dramatic at the same time. Nicely done.
Thomas A. Posted 7 months ago
Awesome! Genuinely funny character driven humor! Very lovable guys, takes me back to my misspent youth.
Kendra W. Posted 7 months ago
Love the wardrobe, the cool lighting, and the music. It was well shot and interesting, your actors are entertaining but the video didn't do a ton for me in terms of sparking an interest in the overall plot. Good work though!
Chris N. Posted 7 months ago
This brings back so many fond memories of my childhood.
Keith H. Posted 7 months ago
I've always loved this concept - I just wish I didn't feel like the mission was recycled footage from your original trailer! Can't wait to see more though - good luck!
Enigma A. Posted 7 months ago
perfectly illustrates the FUN and the foibles OF ACTING LIKE A CRIMINAL. The little initiation ritual at the end foreshadows a deeper pit they're going to have to climb out of than the one they're currently having a blast in, perhaps?
justin H. Posted 7 months ago
The movie looks like it could be promising, however I found it frustrating that this mini trailer portrayed kids as criminals...
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
you've got a great team of young comedic actors. I did find the campfire scene a little out of place - almost like you needed to fill the time. I think I would have ended on the vomiting. Isn't that how most of these evenings end? ;)
Deanna O. Posted 7 months ago
I agree with the vomit moment> it would have been an excellent way to end the piece.
Vish P. Posted 7 months ago
awesome! very professional! you have proved that you have a very talented team in all departments! Now go win this !
Jeff C. Posted 7 months ago
crap - i didn't see this fan mission thing before! So as i said awesome - I f'n love the campfire scene - you even lit up the trees in the back - looked beautiful - the whole thing. music and editing worked great together too - and you guys are very attractive in person too -- all around, this team rocks - there - there's 350 characters!
Brenda T. Posted 7 months ago
The characters are so engaging. Great acting. You exceeded the timelimit set for the mission and could have achieved 90 sec with careful editing.
Dana B. Posted 7 months ago
Nicely done team...
Jeff C. Posted 7 months ago
awesome - i f'n love the campfire scenes!
Glenn L. Posted 7 months ago
Well done. Lots captured through the different scenes - all of the characters in this film are very compelling...
Julie P. Posted 7 months ago
This was great. Reminds me of a video from the 80's back when MTV played videos. Makes me want to see the movie
Douglas H. Posted 7 months ago
The traditional story of the nerd getting some power is well laid-out and I like the bits of humour with the glasses. (Over 90 secs?)
Laureen B. Posted 7 months ago
Can't wait to see more of how the different characters will develop throughout the movie! Great job!
Katie T. Posted 7 months ago
Feels like that feel-good-sequence in a movie when what we've been waiting for has finally happened and it's game on!
June B. Posted 7 months ago
A bit reminiscent of That 70s Show. Well shot and edited. Some great, funny moments - trying to see without glasses. I feel that :) Love the squeaky merry go round. Music design works well for the boys' transformation. Definitely an arc here. Great execution of this mission.
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
I like that you guys used "hands" to tie the beginning of the narrative with the end. The branding with the lighter was important but it could have been more powerful if there was an obvious inciting incident. Though, I have to say you guys did an amazing job of using so many locations at this stage!
Kellie M. Posted 7 months ago
AJ and Kevin's bike ride was my favorite part but the whole thing was great- you fit a lot into a short time and did it well. :)
Erik H. Posted 7 months ago
This is probably the best "coming of age" I have ever seen, and the movie hasn't even been released yet. You guys are doing a great job, Can't wait to see the finished product! The mission said to add fan fiction, but it's hard to add to something that already seems so awesome!
Janne H. Posted 7 months ago
Looks a friendship in the making - can't say it's a good one! Looks like it was a fun day of shooting.
tony d. Posted 7 months ago
I wanna see this movie!
Maureen M. Posted 7 months ago
Great music choices, this type of thing has been done before and yet it still never really gets old
Jane H. Posted 7 months ago
Wow you managed to shoot so much in so little time. I love the where this story is going. Team PromNightOTLD
Stacey A. Posted 7 months ago
A day and night they will always remember and end it off as friends for life. Makes for a great story.
Sheleena B. Posted 7 months ago
Pretty good. I would say you almost told too much of the story in a two minute segment. Your actors had lots of character and fit the parts well.
Andre v. Posted 7 months ago
Lots going on here and certainly tells us where the one character is coming from and going. Nice job. Life of a Locksmith
Benjamin O. Posted 7 months ago
Liked the bike stealing scene. A lot going on in this clip.
Tyler S. Posted 7 months ago
How could this group finish a mission that consists of what looks like 10 locations and 5 characters had they not have already filmed a large portion of their film?
Toby G. Posted 7 months ago
What a compliment! We shot this all last Saturday, a long and gruelling day, which did seem like 10 locations! Many of them are actually in the same place, but it was indeed a day with a lot of driving.
I want to big up the cast - those guys went the whole day without so much as a complaint - over 16 hours, and the last location was a 15 minute hike into nowhere in pitch black. Absolute troopers, you guys are the best.
Suzanna B. Posted 7 months ago
Loved this, I'm a bigger fan with each mission that comes out. The characters are so fun and unique, I can only imagine what hilarity would ensue in the span of this whole film.
Jeremy S. Posted 7 months ago
its well done, and tell a lot about the characters and overall style of the film. Cine and Edit was very good. But I wonder why so many teams broke the 90 sec limit?
Angelo R. Posted 7 months ago
Been there, done that. :-)
Marc B. Posted 7 months ago
A little too much nodding going on in this montage. The inner conflict of "turning" doesn't really come through in the acting. It's has a certain humour, but I don't know if humour is what you need here.
Kerri S. Posted 7 months ago
Excellent job! Love the transformation of the main character from geek to cool kid from the wrong side of the tracks. Also the pressure of fitting in and drinking and drugs. Something most of us can feel a connection with on some level.
Marnie D. Posted 7 months ago
I luv it, you can feel AJ's pain and Geekness. I love the music selection and how it was used. Bike scene is an awesome scene, great movement and expression. I like getting to know the characters more and seeing more of their personalities come out.
Jane M. Posted 7 months ago
Nice job. I like the pace and music - it captures the highs and lows of the transition they are going through..
Mital G. Posted 7 months ago
Well done boys! Funny and poignant - loved the 'Titanic' moment. You've really captured the moments well through the montage.
Monty J. Posted 7 months ago
Great job!! It was funny seeing the transformation of a geek, to a cool kid!! Getting stoned and drunk!! I miss grade 9
B K Singh R. Posted 7 months ago
good work guys,,,,,,,,,,
Kris J. Posted 7 months ago
Awesome job! this movie looks like a lot of fun. This challenge also added a new perspective to the story line. Looking forward to more.
Daylen M. Posted 7 months ago
Really well done. Love the conversion from nerdy to badass. Also really like the initiation scene.
Dennis B. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting perspective. These boys wer playing dungeons and dragons originally, now graduated to stealing bikes and partying. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses in the movie.
Fernando P. Posted 7 months ago
When AJ got home, he immediately ran to the medicine cabinet and rummaged until he found the Polysporin. Man, that burn hurt like hell!
courtney n. Posted 7 months ago
Haha, I must say that it seems like a fair portrayal of high school. The fact that there was no sound almost took away from the smoking bit, but at the end there, no words were needed. Overall, awesome scene
Christopher W. Posted 7 months ago
Great looking montage, the lack of dialogue works really well. You get a sense of who these characters are.
Connor B. Posted 7 months ago
Really good job! I thought the contrast between their usual characters as geeks and now as bad boys really added depth to the story.
Jason M. Posted 7 months ago
I liked it the lighter bit at the end brought back some old memories
Tara S. Posted 7 months ago
Really great work team as usual. You really captured Grade 9 in 1989. Had me cringing at moments as only memories of high school could! Bring on the rest!
Tammy B. Posted 7 months ago
so true
Richard M. Posted 7 months ago
Well guys you have hit the mark. I feel like I am back there, after watching this clip. Keep up the good work.
Dawn F. Posted 7 months ago
The trailer looked good and I think the shooting is great but this looked to melike it was.leftovers from the trailer. I expected so much more from this one
Julia Richard M. Posted 7 months ago
Fantastic job guys. The real world of Grade nine for sure. Can not wait to see the full movie. Filming is great.
