Great scene, loved the shot with the woman and child and what it represents.
Sean R. Posted 5 months ago
awesome scene guys, good luck with the rest of the competition, you and alien abduction to go though to the top 5!
Dylan L. Posted 6 months ago
you have some really nice looking shots in this mission 4 video. The pacing was just a little bit slow
Trudy H. Posted 6 months ago
Watching your Mission 4 video has left me “Speechless”! Can’t wait to see what else this film has in store!
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
love the music
Dave S. Posted 6 months ago
Not necessarily my first choice. but it definitely does seem intriguing. sometimes when i see projects like this i just wonder.
Michel C. Posted 6 months ago
You have some strengths going on but I just don't see the big scheme. I think more is needed to solidify
Joslyn P. Posted 7 months ago
Love the music!
Andy M. Posted 7 months ago
I will go back and look at your other missions now to see if I can catch up on what you're doing. I'm wondering what Mom is going to do next?
Merle P. Posted 7 months ago
well, one thumb up and hope that this story has more teeth in the end. Some scripts need help by great acting or better direction.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Teeth ... we have Nigel who steals body parts ... see www.absolutionmovie.com vids if you want to be scared and not sleep again
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
the music was beautiful
Louise M. Posted 7 months ago
Didn't love the trailer, so thought I'd see if the Speechless clip redeemed the story...there is a much stronger emotional connection in this piece, perhaps due to the music, the melancholy tone set around the dead little girl. Found the religious-like scene at the end hinted suggested something darker. I liked this better than the trailer.
Jordan D. Posted 7 months ago
The music was very nice - I'd love to have something from you guys explaining what you're going to do with the money (are you planning to reshoot the whole film or just revamp a few scenes?)
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
There will be a sequel to The Harvest Project shot ... sequel is Absolution - check out www.absolutionmovie.com

Hello there. There is no question that this is a very good scene. However I've got a question about your project and would like if you would help me clarify it. For you have already made the movie you are pitching, a couple years ago, on 2008. So is this like a sequel to it, and if so in what way? or where you just not happy with the result and want to give it another go. Anyways congratulations and keep up the good work!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
see www.absolutionmovie.com for all the answers ... it's the sequel. The first movie has a following around the world. They want more and I need a real budget to deliver the sequel
Jose H. Posted 7 months ago
thanks for clarifying! by the way is the movie online? I would love to check it out.

Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Impressive piece of work. The lighting on the final shot was very well done. Having a 11 piece orchestra do the music was a great touch to this mission.
Wilma S. Posted 7 months ago

Truly haunting, beautiful score. I got chills at the beginning and tears at the end. The story here aptly evokes a sense of loss and healing. Well done!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
thank you ... sorry about the tears!
Ken K. Posted 7 months ago
I think this movie has a very strong chance, it looks really great, the editing looks great and the the effects look even better, I can't wait until it comes out.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Fingers are crossed for final 5!
Paul J. Posted 7 months ago
Was this music recorded just for this mission?! That is amazing if it was fantastic recording and arrangement.
Cloee C. Posted 7 months ago
wow, music choice was phenomenal, agree with simon t, kinda over powered the actors. still great, keep it up
Michel P. Posted 7 months ago
Beautiful music. Very good camera work. But, narratively, I am not clear on the connection between the doctor(s) and the rest of the death.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
... www.absolutionmovie.com ... will answer that ...
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
the music works extremely well in this scene, very powerful and very well done. camera work was excellent as well
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Colin T ...
Simon T. Posted 7 months ago
Orchestra killed it. It might have even outshone the actors, but you did a good job of setting a mood. Well done.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Hats off to the orchestra ... better than me solo on learning guitar that's for sure.
Doug K. Posted 7 months ago
No kidding, I've heard Darren play.
David M. Posted 7 months ago
Wow, cool use of the orchestra. Not something I would have expected to see in a low budget indie film.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Granville Island is the key, go there around lunch time and gather them all up, find a studio nearby and composer and simply start playing - okay, little more involved than that I must admit
Danny L. Posted 7 months ago
Is this a story of the death of the girl and then having to cope with it through religion and all of the devistating emotions
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
see full treatment at www.absolutionmovie.com ... explains it in full detail along with 2 vids you'll really enjoy of the underground

solemn music works well. I'll have to go back now and figure what this is about exactly. I thuink I missed the trailer.

Very well done. Loved how the music was used. It really helped add to the mood of the scene. Great camera work too.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
the fun part of hanging from a beam 20 feet in the air and not falling on top of the that little angel below is CINECOUP brave!
Tanya G. Posted 7 months ago
It seems like a very dramatic and suspensefull movie. Wondering why the child dies makes me want to find out more.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
... and how she's brought back to life is even better ... ;)

You have done a great job and worked with your strenghths. Hope you make the final cut! Keep at it!

We hope to make the cut as well ... then we could put some real money behind this thing. All I need is seed money to grow a money tree!

I traded all my Easter eggs in just to buy that white dress for her ... times of an independent!
Gabriel P. Posted 7 months ago
I really like the expressions on your actors' faces. I think they really deliver their characters well. Great job guys! Keep going
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
The secret is keeping them hungry. No really. If you be like a true independent and don't feed your actors you get that extra effort. (joking of course ... Timbits for all! )
Jean M. Posted 7 months ago
An eleven piece orchestra! Wow that would have taken a lot of effort. Good luck for the missions ahead!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Just imagine what I could turn a million into ... it would be like putting 2 rabbits together and getting a great return!
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
What! She dies! You've just spoiled the whole movie for me! just kidding - joking aside, I think you've done a lovely job here at showing the emotion of your characters and your abilities as a team.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
My gals had to save my soul this week ... they came through for me. Hopefully top 40 and beyond!
Lorette P. Posted 7 months ago
I agree with all the other comments. Loved the bible and rosary. Love to see more on this movie. Should be great.
Kari W. Posted 7 months ago
The orchestra is really the difference in connecting the story and moving us forward seemlessly, great touch.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Who said there aren't knowledgeable film fans out there ... the real ones are starting to show up to gain Absolution in doses - it's what I want .. real film fans that get it. Thank you all. I was getting worried at the start ... LOL
Loretta W. Posted 7 months ago
I found the connection between the music and the scenes moving.
Lynn A. Posted 7 months ago
This was good I liked the orchestra and the camera moves, symbolism was interesting has me wanting more
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Appreciate people getting what's going on ...
Diane N. Posted 7 months ago
I agree with all the other comments - excellent music with the orchestra. Along with the candles, my eyes went to the Rosary placed around the bible. It has spiked my interest into what is to come!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
The underground organ trade has many positives as well ... maybe it's the public system we should be scared of.
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
You have this amazing ability of using symbols and hiding clues within each frame - an unlimited flow of easter eggs for the fans! That subtle body jerk is perfectly aligned to show how her soul leaves the body and the camera moves up to show the triangles on the window. And I love the symbolism of how the candles are placed. What an amazing job. I am speechless! BRAVO!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Well it is Easter time and even the fans deserve Easter eggs! I feel that bottle of vodka moving across the table toward you. You deserve a shot for being a cool fan and a knowledgeable one.
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
ABSOLUTely ;)
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
I'm counting up all my Easter eggs to see if I have enough to trade for a bottle right now ... I'm close!
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
Use them for your next mission! Once you win this contest, Absolut will be thrilled to provide as many bottles as you desire ;)
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Afzal you'll be invited to our celebration party to share in that Absolut when/if we hit that prize pot! :)
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
I like! ;)
Skye B. Posted 7 months ago
What a moving song. Love this!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
keep playing it over and over ... or wait for our free download coming soon ... ;) - thanks Skye ... appreciate it.
Amanda B. Posted 7 months ago
I also like this. i think the orchestra is beautiful. Seeing the little girl lay motionless really sets things into perspective.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
she was motionless until the giggles hit ... wanted to time a flinch of her soul leaving her body. She did wonderful after we got the giggles out.
Jeff B. Posted 7 months ago
You made really great use of the orchestra. It definitely helps to bring out the emotion of the scene.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
better than the heavy metal track someone suggested I go with ... ;) ... glad I didn't listen them.
Dale B. Posted 7 months ago
Amazing score, sets the tone perfectly. The overall feel is there and the actors did very well. Left me wanting to know more but as its just a teaser really thats a good thing, great work !!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Dale ... thanks for setting the tone my friend. Appreciate the review. You can see more at www.absolutionmovie.com for some underground activity scenes in the vid tab.
Bobbie-Gene H. Posted 7 months ago
Incredible music. The lighting and the overall look is very beautiful. I really liked this one. Can't wait to see more!!

Betty H. Posted 7 months ago
the 6 year old's fate is sealed as the heart is not delivered despite prayers and two separate 6 points of light. The message - 666 (spooky)
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Someone is getting the message ... ;)
John L. Posted 7 months ago
Must agree with Lisa R. Acting was full of emotion and very believable. Sound track was well suited to the scenes.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
I agree with Lisa R as well. Sounds like a smart lady! ;) ... appreciate it
Dana B. Posted 7 months ago
Great job on getting an orchestra of any size to record your score... The visuals are nice, but the extremely slow pace bored me...
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
I tried to get the orchestra to play faster but they were paid by the hour and really wanted to take their time with this piece.
Kismet T. Posted 7 months ago
Very emotional. A poignant look at a family driven to contemplate your movie's tag line - very clever showing us another side of the underground organ trade in this speechless mission. I love the symbolism. You weave a story, but make us think. The sign of a true storyteller.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
I might just have to induct some of you true fans into the official HARVEST PROJECT FAN CLUB ... !!!
Lisa R. Posted 7 months ago
The emotion on both man and woman came through on screen. The little girl done so well laying so still. Looks good
Amy Z. Posted 7 months ago
Great job. Very dramatic shots. So excited for this project!
Kev M. Posted 7 months ago
The score is absolutely incredible. Really evoked emotion through out the scene. Very well done!!!!!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Kev. Appreciate it. Check out www.absolutionmovie.com vids to get a taste of the underground ...
Chris N. Posted 7 months ago
heartbreaking.
Romano M. Posted 7 months ago
Well done on this mission--would have liked to see more about the illegal organ trade though. Keep up the great work!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago

Jacquie G. Posted 7 months ago
so evocative and visual well done and the music is stunning Jacquie from Pretty Life
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks for the kind heart ... we'll be collecting hearts in the next movie! ;) Quite a price tag on those out on the underground market. Kidneys, dime a dozen.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
What a beautiful piece of music! Great job! (Team Rosalind Revenge)
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
I thought the editing and the seamless transitions and storytelling of visual images was much better than the score though. LOL ;)
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Well when you get an orchestra in to record the music it becomes a bit more pertinent ;) I'm looking forward to your next mission...even if you don't like being on camera!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
I'm already sweatin the next mission but I'll do it ... fear or not LOL
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
You've got it!
courtney n. Posted 7 months ago
I feel as if I couldn't quite follow the story behind this scene, and I don't know if it was because there was no sound or because they didn't coincide. I wish I could've enjoyed it more
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Turn up the volume button and you might find things more enjoyable while on your computer :) ... I was thinking of adding subtitles to help people with volume disabilities but then I thought hey ... maybe I'll just put the treatment on Cinecoup Dailies so everyone will get it. I knew I should have gone with the organ stealing scene - damn.
Dennis B. Posted 7 months ago
The music made a lot more sense than the video. I can't seem to follow what is going on here at all. Good music though.
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Read above minus the sound problem. ;)
Shannon M. Posted 7 months ago
I like the music, I agree the shots don't seem very smooth, it is however intriguing could just use better transition
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Could use a lot of things but that's why I'm in this Cinecoup accelerator LOL.
Olivia H. Posted 7 months ago
Thought the editing was choppy and the shots far from seamless. Was this a new short or ones pieced together?
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
The story was there you just have to read between the ugly cuts and transitions ;) ... LOL
