Nice contrast between the two styles of packing - great way to look into the personalities of the characters without words!
Cyndi F. Posted 5 months ago
I really like this concept. I'd love to see this full film along with some of the other film ideas in the competition.
Peggy S. Posted 5 months ago
I like. This scene reminds me of my first ever summer away from my boyfriend. Love the trailer too, guys. Want to see what comes of this project
Sandra l. Posted 5 months ago
Being somewhat o.c.. my self I can connect with this speechless bit.you can see the contrast between them.
Christopher K. Posted 6 months ago
I really liked the lighting in the scene, it was pleasing to the eye. I also liked all the quick shots that were used.
Michel P. Posted 6 months ago
That's a great Speechless scene. Without saying a word, got a great sense of two VERY different characters. Well done.
Cathy J. Posted 6 months ago
Really cute, loved the music and seeing the contrast between the two characters. Looking forward to seeing more!
Alex C. Posted 6 months ago
Nice clip you guys made! I wish you the best of luck in the competition and all of your future film endeavours
LIs D. Posted 6 months ago
Really enjoyed your speechless clip. No need for words to tell this story. Well done and good luck with this.
Dennis H. Posted 6 months ago
Watching your Mission 4 video has left me “Speechless”! Can’t wait to see what else this film has in store!
John B. Posted 6 months ago
nice work on telling the story. I think maybe it would be nice to have some foley and have the music in the BG a bit
Wojciech N. Posted 6 months ago
This seems like a fun movie my teenage kids would love. Good song choice. I like how different the two characters are from one another.
Zaul M. Posted 6 months ago
Definitely cute. I think a final film version could be shorter, but its feel good and effective. Good work!
Angela S. Posted 6 months ago
I totally enjoyed this speechless clip about these two contrasting characters. The music was perfect for this. I found it very entertaining.
Alvin D. Posted 6 months ago
Good job guys. Loved the sound design and shots used to create some suspense. You deserve Top 10 for sure!
Leanne B. Posted 6 months ago
Music was really fun. Makes me want to go on vacation with a fun friend and pack neatly and calmly while singing. Thanks for the happy moment :)
Ron K. Posted 6 months ago
The B Side Speechless clip tells a great “speechless” story about two very opposite people (“the odd couple”?), but as they say opposites attract—really? Great music selection guys, really fits the road trip prep clips. I love the real-life story comedy side of this project (great feel, very real, “oh yeah, look! I did that when I was young too.”). The speechless clip really sets you up for the “scene” that Montreal is going to become when the nerd/too-hot girlfriend (does this really happen?) catch-up. Great anticipation for laughs (and cries) to come, and you know the road trip is going to be wild. I love it, thanks and good luck!
Ingrid S. Posted 6 months ago
I like the two different stories being shows at the same time..the music melts it together very well. Good luck!
Ken N. Posted 6 months ago
Good music, and I actually learned a bit about the show. Well done. My only problem is that I thought music montages went out in the '90s...
TeamJessie P. Posted 6 months ago
One of the best Speechless videos- love. :)
Madelyn R. Posted 6 months ago
Super cute. I loved seeing the contrast between the two characters and the use of the music was very effective
Alexandra S. Posted 6 months ago
This was one of my favourite Speechless videos. Love, love, love your actors - so talented!!
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
Really good! Excellent contrast between the two - organized vs not and the music seemed to fir well. Silent comedy is hard, but the team seemed to overcome the disadvantage.
Lesley C. Posted 6 months ago
I have no useful comment to make other than I really liked it!
Jordan L. Posted 6 months ago
Gives a good teaser where I am wanting to see more and find out more on these characters. A comedy with a plot.
Bob J. Posted 6 months ago
This makes me wonder how these two ever got in a relationship to start with. I mean opposites do attract, but it would certainly be interesting to explore more.
Louise R. Posted 6 months ago
liked this, liked seeing the difeerence between the two... how men and women can do the same job so differently.. amazing music too!!
Sara S. Posted 6 months ago
Great scene! I especially liked the use of music and intercutting between the two characters. Super job!
Sarah W. Posted 6 months ago
I really like the contrast between the two different styles and seeing the psychological diference between the two characters. Look good!
Dinah H. Posted 6 months ago
This was pretty cool I loved the juxtaposition of the characters. It was quite funny, but yet revealed something sad about Phil and Sam too.
charlie e. Posted 7 months ago
Ahhh, this was awesome. The editing reminded me of a music video and I love music videos. And also girls in their underwear.
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Right on Charlie. We agree.
Bobbi H. Posted 7 months ago
I like the video but I think the girl in her underwear is unnecessary. Overall catchy and funny, good for a youth audience.
Alex P. Posted 7 months ago
This scene really gives a great snapshot of both character's personalities. Really good cinematography too!
Lena D. Posted 7 months ago
I like the way this was shot, you guys. I felt it was a bit of a montage, but sometimes you just say oh well and drink.
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Ok, but be honest. Are you Lena Dunham?
Emily M. Posted 7 months ago
Fantastic editing and I loved the use of impersonal objects to personalize your characters! Nice work!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Emily!
Jenny Y. Posted 7 months ago
I really like this one. Great simple story for the scene and it was really clearly told. I loved the music too.
Joe B. Posted 7 months ago
Very well done, the scenery is really cool until it widens up and you see all the trees cut down. It's very sad, but I would love to see the final product of this Doc.
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Oh man, I think you're talking about the Orangutan doc...
Geoffrey S. Posted 7 months ago
this mission really shows how the characters are very different from each other. Good job with the soundtrack too
Knighten R. Posted 7 months ago
I like the music and some of the shots are nice....Almost nudity! Wow, these people can pack a suitcase!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
That's why we cast them!
Anna T. Posted 7 months ago
I love this song :) This one of my favourite videos. It's funny that he packs so neatly and organized. Cute.
Rysiek C. Posted 7 months ago
This is without a doubt my favourite speechless mission of them all. I felt like I was already watching the movie
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Awesome! That's what we like to hear!
Jon K. Posted 7 months ago
Beautiful colors, a great way to contrast characters and show a bit of their personalities. It's a colorful, fun piece. Beautiful work! Love your concept! -Jon, team 'Guillermo'
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Jon! We're super into your film too. Can't wait to find out more about it!
Treena U. Posted 7 months ago
I love the comparison! So totally opposite, makes we want to see how they manage to end of together...or do they?
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
You'll have to vote and find out!
Heather B. Posted 7 months ago
Give YOU Two Reasons Why I *LOVE* THIS: 1) Reminds me of summer with beachy music and summer = FUN and 2) contrast between these two packers - contrasting her potential eccentricities with his anal ways - these guys are opposites. Opposites makes for FUN. I want to SEE this movie now! Good luck!
Tawni B. Posted 7 months ago
Aww! He's so cute, with his little list. I take it they have split by now and he's going after her. She's gearing up for her own adventure without him. I just don't see them together in the end though. I hope he gets with a cute girl that appreciates his nerdyness..
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
You'll just have to wait and see Tawni!
Nancy R. Posted 7 months ago
liked the editing and music but didn't really get any sense of the story line
Katie B. Posted 7 months ago
not crazy about the song but i really do like the concept of this movie, it looks really funny and something i would want to watch
Nathan F. Posted 7 months ago
cute. felt like a music video but it did a good job of setting up the characters in about a minute. He packs a ukulele and she brings a guitar :)
patricia s. Posted 7 months ago
made me laugh,it is funny, not sure if I like it though
Denise D. Posted 7 months ago
A wonderful and funny way to tell us about who this couple is. It sets us up for the challenges they have and will run into as the story unfolds. Tell me more!
Daisy F. Posted 7 months ago
this made me laugh, the guy packing was actually hilarious. good music for the scene, and love that its a canadian band!
Kasia K. Posted 7 months ago
This was fun. I enjoyed watching it! Who knew packing could be so much fun. Pardon my bad grammar I am ESL.
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Good montage. The music fit well with the scene well cut together. Got a good sense of what you are going for on this project.
Troy H. Posted 7 months ago
good work here on showing story a bit, i like this, nice camera work here would have liked to see them interact with someone else to
Patrick C. Posted 7 months ago
I don't know about this video. I don't know if I like it. It seems to be meant to be like The Odd Couple, but didn't quite play like that. I disliked the guy for sitting up immediately the alarm went off, and the girl seemed normal. May need to work on showing differences more.
Susanne G. Posted 7 months ago
The song is great but not for this cut but I do like the editing and how you parallel the differences in the 2 characters, very diff from the trailer
Alan B. Posted 7 months ago
This is a very good scene. It shows a lot about Phil and Sam's personalities and how they are different from each other. I love the song; it's still stuck in my head. The song goes very well with the scene. I loved it!!! You guys did amazing.
Misha G. Posted 7 months ago
I like a lot about this, especially the action parallels.. it doesn't seem to match the initial trailer, but it's upbeat, the song's good, and the visuals are colourful and telling.
Lee H. Posted 7 months ago
Really well done I think, great music too. Different from the trailer but still awesome to watch, great job folks!
Jana S. Posted 7 months ago
Loved the music!!! This really made me want to watch the movie! I would like to see how this relationship goes!:)
Iris B. Posted 7 months ago
Good video! I'm wondering if perhaps the guy loosens up by the end of his journey?I like the montage.
Dean M. Posted 7 months ago
really good video and great song choice. It;s different from the trailer but equally as good. I like her.
Andy M. Posted 7 months ago
Oh Phil...I don't think this is meant to be. But I'm willing to bet that you're going to discover that for yourself!
Kyle M. Posted 7 months ago
Not really into the song but great editing used in this clip. So the guy is OCD and the girl is a dope smoking hippie?
Clayton P. Posted 7 months ago
I really loved the mirroring images. You immediately get a sense for these two characters and how they're opposites!
Maggie G. Posted 7 months ago
Not fussy on the score but love the mirror image packing scenes, that is very cute and wish I had her abs!!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Don't even get us started on Sam's body. Insane.
Jamie M. Posted 7 months ago
Awesome job guys! This is a really great snapshot of the distinct characters that are so different, and that becomes more and more clear as the packing unfolds. :D
Christine W. Posted 7 months ago
Looks like a road trip about to happen. The music was fun and energetic giving the sense that adventures are about to happen!
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
This was fun to watch and i loved the song, haven't heard of them before but I will check them out. Your project interests me more and more each week.
Sandeep M. Posted 7 months ago
I feel like this is so much like real life. When you listen to music while you are doing normal things and feel so cool!
Shane R. Posted 7 months ago
felt like both actors were conscious of the camera or something. Things just felt staged, like a half serious music video. not real life
Yvonne A. Posted 7 months ago
nice work, gives a lot of information in a short amount of time.
Emily R. Posted 7 months ago
One of my favorite missions I've seen so far. The contrasting characters are hilarious! Good luck to you guys.
Kendall R. Posted 7 months ago
This was very well done. Loved the concept for this mission. In under two minutes you really captured the essence of these characters! Very well done - can't wait to see more.
Alex K. Posted 7 months ago
Really like the visuals in each individual frame, you could pause this clip anywhere and have a beautiful photograph! keep going guys, looking great!
Todd M. Posted 7 months ago
Ohhhh you played hardball with the Young Rivals... and wait... is Sam in the film because I am sold of he... give her the mil!!! :D
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
We will literally give her every dollar of it.
Darryl L. Posted 7 months ago
Wicked song!!!! Definitely gonna check out this band. Really fun. Love the chick!!!! Way to go guys!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Head to www.youngrival.com You'll be glad you did!
Ryan H. Posted 7 months ago
They say opposites attract. The mirroring really highlights their differences ( and similarities) much information is conveyed without dialogue
Kristie M. Posted 7 months ago
This is one of my favourite sequences this week. I love the mirroring of what they're packing. Sam seems like a pretty cool lady :)
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
She is the coolest person. I can barely look at her.
Natalie H. Posted 7 months ago
This is so great!
Gina . Posted 7 months ago
I look forward to seeing more of this project develop. I enjoyed watching them in this mission.
Roman G. Posted 7 months ago
I sense a clash of characters here. I'm looking foreward to see more of them. Maybe I can learn from this movie how to pack ;)
Eric R. Posted 7 months ago
Nice scene. Great use of Music. Pretty fun to watch and see the vast differences in the way people prepare for a day.
Katelyn J. Posted 7 months ago
I liked the quick edits. Not sure if it's super original, but looks like it would be fun to watch. Good luck!
Joan L. Posted 7 months ago
Great choice of music for the getting ready to go sequence. The behaviour of both characters kind of intrigued me.
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Great idea and solid execution. Nice choice for the song as well. Looking forward to seeing more. I think this could be a very funny movie
Jody M. Posted 7 months ago
This is certainly going somewhere. It's hard to establish these characters without falling into stereotypes. The female role was well done. the male role felt a little overplayed. Looks like there is some great fun ahead!
Andrea S. Posted 7 months ago
Nice idea to show the two different stories and personalities back and forth. The music is a very good match for the story. Well done!!
Sage B. Posted 7 months ago
Very fun sequence, with a great contrast of personality types, and a great tune to underscore the piece, well played B side - SCAM
Nev T. Posted 7 months ago
phil is a babe, sam is a babe. everyone on this team is a babe. also, the song is on point!! great work, as always!!
Kim C. Posted 7 months ago
What a great way to introduce the personalities of, and the contract between, two characters. Definitive sets the stage for a road trip that is sure to have some hilarious conflicts.
Cara S. Posted 7 months ago
I think the comedies are at a slight disadvantage in this challenge. But this really felt like opening titles or something similar. It feels like you're leading us up to something. And the packing for a road trip movie is quite pivotal, really. Nice work!
Amy K. Posted 7 months ago
That mission was really well done! The background music was perfect and the concept of using packing styles to give a feel character was great - 'specially in a movie about a road trip.
Su P. Posted 7 months ago
Its really hard to do speechless ad your team really stepped up. I enjoyed the packing as an example of different personalities.
Jac r. Posted 7 months ago
They're so different! It's like they're both going the same place and not the same place….but you get the feeling that it will be the same place in the end, unless it's opposite places!
Bernadette C. Posted 7 months ago
You did a really good job of introducing the characters and their opposite personalities. The music was perfect. I loved it!
Emily R. Posted 7 months ago
I loved this!! The shots you had were really clean and wes anderson-like. The contrast of characters was hilarious. Good job!
Shannon H. Posted 7 months ago
Love the music and the character development...no words required nor did I feel dialogue was missing as in some other projects' missions.
Cathie S. Posted 7 months ago
Love the music. I like how the characters are introduced and develop. It is neat their actions mirror each other. Good job!
lisa m. Posted 7 months ago
Love the song. I am really excited about seeing this. Filmed like a video, great character development.
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
What a wonderful sequence. You guys did a great job. Amazing editing - it tells you so much about each character. Very well done!!!
Rose L. Posted 7 months ago
Great job guys! I loved this set up for the road trip. Your casting is fantastic and the song was perfect. That actress has such an amazing look and great wardrobe to boot. Perfect for a no dialogue challenge. Congrats from #LDRfilm
Nev T. Posted 7 months ago
Oh my god, don't get us started on Sam. She is a dream.
Rachel L. Posted 7 months ago
I like the quick jump shots between all the items. Definitely intriguing filming that gives a good look at the character's personalites. Also good song
Lindsey M. Posted 7 months ago
Really well done. A great way to show character.
Tom Y. Posted 7 months ago
This is shot really well, I'd say its definitely one of the better videos in this weeks mission for sure
Jessica L. Posted 7 months ago
Haha, love this! Really shows the difference in the two characters. Definitely a bigger fan of Sam.
Nev T. Posted 7 months ago
Don't tell Thomas, but so are we...
lauryn h. Posted 7 months ago
i just died laughing, this is amazing ! hurry up cinecoup let us make THE B SIDE
Amanda C. Posted 7 months ago
Good job on the mission :)
patricia s. Posted 7 months ago
like this really done well
Tara D. Posted 7 months ago
Catchy song. Unfortunately watching the packing methods by two different characters became painful to watch after a while.
Sarah D. Posted 7 months ago
Well done mission. It's interesting to see how different the characters must be from just their approach to packing.
Alannah J. Posted 7 months ago
The track is a fun addition to this scene, and it was a creative concept. Also. That neck pillow. Hilarious.
Blake A. Posted 7 months ago
love this! so cute!
Jamie T. Posted 7 months ago
This set up really tells a lot about these two characters. Watching Phil is like watching a blissfully slow and oblivious train-wreck.
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
I've never heard a better description of Phil..
Lianna W. Posted 7 months ago
Really well done. I am intruiged to how these two are going to make it on a trip together. Yes I want to see more.
Skye B. Posted 7 months ago
Love this song - great video.
Lawrence T. Posted 7 months ago
Great Speechless mission. Loved how the packing "unpacked' their characters . The Young Rival song is great and set the mood well . Looking forward to seeing more.
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
Great job Ally P and team! I myself have edited a packing scene before and those buggers can be tough. How long can you watch packing for really without thinking - I get it, you are packing and going on a trip?
That said you had my interest the whole time, and the contrast of the two styles was informative, sets the tone for how their relationship will unfold, and entertaining. I'm sure we all know someone who packs one of these ways.
Bravo.
- The Dangers of Online Dating
miranda k. Posted 7 months ago
I thought this was very upbeat and light to watch. I liked the counting and the o.c.d packing.I have a fried i road tripped on that was like that.
Jeff B. Posted 7 months ago
The guy's bedroom looks amazing and you chose a really great song to illustrate the dynamics of their relationship.
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Big thanks to Young Rival!
Karen D. Posted 7 months ago
Very interesting, I haven't watched any of your other missions, so now I'm going to have to go and do that. The character development is very good. Great work.
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Karen!
Angelo S. Posted 7 months ago
I much prefer the woman's method of packing although when I do that, I never seem to finish for some reason.
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Right? That's how we pack for our shoots! JK, Cinecoup. We're very professional.
Mike M. Posted 7 months ago
Consistently great work! Will be looking forward to the next one!
Ivana M. Posted 7 months ago
Hilarious! Reminds me of me and my hubby when packing for a trip! I'm amazed by your work, always. Please make the movie!
AChristine W. Posted 7 months ago
Excellent job depicting the differences between the two characters. This is one of the reasons I am following this...the great character development. Good job!!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you. That means a lot. We really love our characters!
Steven H. Posted 7 months ago
In terms of packing, I am a little of a.) and a little of b.) These two people go together like lamb and tuna fish, but still... I think these crazy cats can work! Go B-Side!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
We're rooting for them too! Go Steven H!
Danny T. Posted 7 months ago
This looks an awful lot like a luggage commercial. Still, I like the look of it and the shots are really diverse.
Joelle W. Posted 7 months ago
Really liked this, you see a lot of scenes like this where people are getting ready and between (a) the way this was shot and (b) the different things each character do which actually tells me a lot about them I thought this said a LOT and was really different :)
Amy Z. Posted 7 months ago
As always, great work. I fall more in love with this whole project and team with every mission. You are all fantastic!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Amy! We fall in more in love with you with each comment you post!
Timothy C. Posted 7 months ago
Love the initial cuts matching up to the score. It's cool seeing a comparison/contrast between two characters!
Gemma T. Posted 7 months ago
Love this :) its different and helps understand the characters even without words I'm really looking forward to seeing more well done :)
Thomas A. Posted 7 months ago
This is a great demonstration of character building through visual comparison. A great A/B sequence that feels like a complete thought and moment. Well done.
Joanie M. Posted 7 months ago
Great work with this one! It was very funny and original. Hope to see more from you next week! Good luck!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Joanie! We can't wait to wow you next week!
Dan S. Posted 7 months ago
Love this. Show's how fun your movie's gonna be. I will definitely be looking that band up!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Young Rival is awesome. Check them out at http://youngrival.com
Scott M. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting way to explore/display the differences between two people's approaches to packing, and ultimately, life.
Dana B. Posted 7 months ago
Nice to through in a little sexy underwear. who doesn't understand that in a trailer. Great song for the piece.
Janine F. Posted 7 months ago
Very fun! Good choice of music to go with the action. I didn't think it was long at all. (Gotta lose the youtube ads though.)
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Haha I love the differences between the characters packing! Great choice of music too! (Team Rosalind Revenge)
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
Great music, I just found the whole thing a little long - maybe that's just because I hate packing. It was cute but I think I was hoping for a little more from you guys.
Brenda T. Posted 7 months ago
Good use of music. I liked how the differences between characters was demonstrated. Hit the time limit but felt too long.
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
You guys rock! The music choice was perfect and I loved how the guy was the super organized one cause it's usually the girls that are. Great introductory glimpse of the characters.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Fun video - some cool shots in there - great song too! I bet these two get into a lot of hilarious arguments on this road trip! Would be very entertaining to watch! lol - Team Rock Bottom
Julie P. Posted 7 months ago
I think it's a nice way to show the difference in packing methods between these two characters. It's quirky and funny
Katie T. Posted 7 months ago
Fun. Felt a little like an IKEA commercial but overall it was a cool way to introduce two characters' differences.
Janne H. Posted 7 months ago
I like the contrast between the two characters. I also pack using a list! It was however too long for the same scene.
Kellie M. Posted 7 months ago
This was cool. They are so different they must be perfect for each other right? Is it wrong that I wanted to grab Phil's suitcases and drop them down 12 flights of stairs? Lol! Great job, loved it. :)
Jane H. Posted 7 months ago
I totally bet she forgets to pack something and he's like it's ok I have two extra!! Nice job. Team PromNightOTLD
Fernando P. Posted 7 months ago
Is it sad that I pack much the same way that Phil does complete with checklist and all the organization?
Michael K. Posted 7 months ago
Cool song! It was neat to see the difference between the two characters by looking at the differences in what they packed and how they packed. You said a lot without saying anything at all. Well done! Only thing I would have done different is tighten it up a bit.
Lisa L. Posted 7 months ago
