Out of all the speechless missions, this one looked like the funnest one to be part of. Must have a good outtake reel.
Iris O. Posted 5 months ago
This scene seems to be really action packed and funny. My biggest question/curiosity is what the first line of dialogue would be after the scene is complete.
Marly V. Posted 5 months ago
Pretty funny idea. Good on you guys.
Jolene K. Posted 6 months ago
on of the best speechless I have seen
Matt T. Posted 6 months ago
BEST EVER!!!!!!! Except maybe its also totally pointless. Can't quite tell yet, but now that I mention it, I'm leaning strongly towards the latter.
Jolene K. Posted 6 months ago
yep
Jessica C. Posted 6 months ago
Although it looks like you all seemed to have a lot of fun making this mission, I feel as though it does not appeal to the audience in the way it should. It is well edited and well put together, but I dont believe that people would pay to watch this is theatres. It seems like a youtube video people would watch when they're bored and looking for ideas on what to do. However, that being said, I loved the music used and I loved some of your shots-- very nicely constructed from a technical point of view. Im sorry, just have to put out my honest opinion.
David K. Posted 6 months ago
awesome -- should be an Olympic sport
Chantie D. Posted 6 months ago
This is my favourite part of the trailer! And is definitely on my bucket list to do:D Great job on this mission!!
Angela S. Posted 6 months ago
This looks like they had a lot of fun doing this. The music worked well in this clip, and I thought the sound effect at the end was perfect.
Jolene K. Posted 6 months ago
liking this
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
It really went well without words - and it looked like fun. It suits the comedy theme. But why no Granny? I'd like to see her in the movie. She would really add something.
Frank L. Posted 6 months ago
Sweet. That looks like so much fun. Did you make sure all the seats were tuned up before you took it down for a race? I can see some people getting super intense about this sport.
Michelle W. Posted 6 months ago
Not my favourite mission from you guys, but it was well executed.
Jordan L. Posted 6 months ago
For no dialogue it still kept the comedy "rolling" a little pun humour. But I want to see more could be a hit!
Cat R. Posted 6 months ago
While I think you have some great and original ideas, I wouldn't watch this movie. Ever. Just non-funny dumbness. Sorry, because you worked hard. Being honest.
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
This was the favourite scene in the movie trailer. Totally dug it, so it's awesome to see it here. Great
Michel C. Posted 6 months ago
Looks like fun but no real depth going on. I am not sure if you meant to have us feel more... I dont
James W. Posted 7 months ago
A homeless man is on the other side of the wall. He uses the super glue he's sniffing to glue a piece of the bicycle helmet that broke off back on.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
It's like you read my mind...lol ;)
Kristie P. Posted 7 months ago
a well sold stunt and funny expressions at the end. a minute of this might have been a bit too long though
Megan P. Posted 7 months ago
Oh my! I am sure that it was tons of fun to make but I am dying to know what happened to the guy went over the rail! I am enticed...
Martin N. Posted 7 months ago
I agree it looks like a lot of fun to make. Not sure what the movie is about but will go back and check the trailer?
Merle P. Posted 7 months ago
Fun project! Wish I could have been there.
Cari J. Posted 7 months ago
Looks like a good time. Probably could have told more of a story with this mission, but looks fun.
Jake S. Posted 7 months ago
You're going to have a hard time in the vote, I suspect. Good luck though!
Frank G. Posted 7 months ago
Hello 70's teen movie! NOT. Nothing to see here. What the heck is the goal here and the outcome. I am missing it
Jenny C. Posted 7 months ago
Fantasatic! The music almost had a videogame feel to it. I really thought it worked with the office chair race. Love the rail flip and the subsequent facial expressions at the end!
Daisy F. Posted 7 months ago
haha chairs in a parking garage. love the kick that makes that dude fall. this project looks promising!
Marge T. Posted 7 months ago
love this scene! Especially the end-the expressions and the last shot. The music is perfect for this scene.
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Well shot scene. I also have to try and convince my boss this is what we should do for our next team building event.
Cinnamon C. Posted 7 months ago
Hilarious!
Ken K. Posted 7 months ago
I think this movie has a very strong chance, it looks really great, the editing looks great and the the effects look even better, I can't wait until it comes out.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you, Ken!!
Chris B. Posted 7 months ago
nice good choice of footage to use for this, if anything I wanted to see the chair race most. I'm going to do that
Terran B. Posted 7 months ago
very unusual silent film pitch. Never seen one like this before, but it is original. The music is very intense
Jenna M. Posted 7 months ago
This looks like it was a a lot of fun to film. I assume that all the actors are friend, which probably made for some good laughs.
Andrea M. Posted 7 months ago
I always lose a wheel when I race office chairs. Next scene: They start a team in memory of their colleague and make a office chair racing history.
Gertray D. Posted 7 months ago
Stupid stupid stupid and I love it. I like that everyone has done something this stupid. The music worked and great at the end. Maybe some sound of the wheels in the one segment could be added. Makes me laugh thanks.
Dianne S. Posted 7 months ago
This was my favorite part of the trailer, so it is nice to see a longer version. I would have liked to see more though.
Krista B. Posted 7 months ago
This just looks fun and makes me smile. Could have used a bit more though, a longer clip with a bit more action would have been good to see
Brenda D. Posted 7 months ago
THIS IS THE BEST! Great job made me laugh out loud
Ada K. Posted 7 months ago
enjoyed it,,, it was funny and looked like fun
Redmond O. Posted 7 months ago
It's harder to go more than a few seconds without dialogue in this type of film than in a lot of other genres such as horror, SF & westerns. Inserting this type of montage is a little risky, but it's effective if done well.
The cheesy punk rock leading to the crash at the end works. I'm not as sure about the moving lips at the end -- I expected dialogue. The sudden ending when the guy crashes is effective and a perfect time to transition back to dialogue.
I think my favourite part is that they're wearing helmets to race office chairs in a parkade.
phil d. Posted 7 months ago
This was the favourite scene in the movie trailer. Totally dug it, so it's awesome to see it here. Great job.
Cheryl M. Posted 7 months ago
Good job guys! Hope you are able to get this film made! So far you have done well and I will vote for you again this round
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Cheryl! We really appreciate the support:)
Farnsworth S. Posted 7 months ago
I did this once at my job but I got caught and written up. that one guy looks like he's getting hurt. haha.
Teague P. Posted 7 months ago
Nothing better to do on those cold winter nights huh? Fun scene and something I've always wanted to do.
Todd M. Posted 7 months ago
Nice work Rachel and crew!! You keep impressing me with the work you've done... You are a perfect example of Sask Humour... needs to be on a national stage again!!
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Todd! We hope to get that chance:D
Ryan H. Posted 7 months ago
The Mystery has been solved. Four out of every five comedians require protective head gear for everyday life
Zach L. Posted 7 months ago
Great idea for a comedy scene, like others have said, it would be better if it was more filled out and the characters had obvious distinguishing traits. Still, great opportunity for some solid, unique physical comedy.
Patrick G. Posted 7 months ago
hilarious. Love the music, love the idea for the speechless mission. I wish I was in that scene! Looks like your team has lots of fun. Great mission.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
It really was a ton of fun to shoot! Only broke two chairs too! haha
Jordan L. Posted 7 months ago
Don't need any lines this scene is comic gold!
Nadine C. Posted 7 months ago
ok that was funny
Curtis B. Posted 7 months ago
It s all fun and games until someone gets hurt! lol, I would thing a more dramatic finish would have been cool, ie going over the buildings side!
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
A million dollars would really spice up this scene, I'm thinking;) Trust me, we've got some GREAT ideas haha
Kaitlyn M. Posted 7 months ago
Hilarious concept (and something I am now very tempted to try.) There feels like there are some gaps that could be filled with foley, but you've got a great foundation for a scene setup here.
I do think there is the potential to work in a little more character development though. I'd love to see these characters distinguish themselves from each other in such a silly situation. You've already got a solid foundation for people to relate to and connect with this, and I think that can be taken even further.
Debbie P. Posted 7 months ago
I worked with a crazy crowd once who would have loved to race office chairs in the parkade. Zany and fun! The music helped create the mood.
Danny L. Posted 7 months ago
if you have ever had a dead end office job working nites who hasn't thought of doing an office chair race even on break just to recharge and add a little spice to the day
Jody M. Posted 7 months ago
Was this scene intended to be soundless? Some extra foley would be nice. Seeing the people mouthing things (I know, no dialogue) was a bit out of place with the intensity of the music. Looks like fun though!
Bari D. Posted 7 months ago
Way to go guys! Great fun
Brenna T. Posted 7 months ago
loved the music style you went with it really brought the overall concept together for me keep up the great work
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
great choice in music, matches the scene well
Shane L. Posted 7 months ago
I agree - looks like fun. I would have liked to get a bit more sense of the context, though. I wasn't sure why they were doing this.
Nathan M. Posted 7 months ago
I have to admit i'm not really sure what this is other than just fun. Who hasn't rolled around on office chairs? I know I have but never thought to do it in a parking garage. This looked like a blast to shoot. I'm back to re-watch the trailer. Great fun.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks for tuning in, Nathan:) It was a blast to shoot!
Nathan F. Posted 7 months ago
Ha - looks like fun. Would be a cool scene to watch on screen. I imagine you could really pick up speed.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Oh yes, there will be even more speed in the actual movie - so many shenanigans for these characters! :)
Bernadette C. Posted 7 months ago
This looks like a lot of fun. I thought the music went well with the race. The end was funny, but I was waiting to see that guy pop up after he went over the rail.
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
This looks like so much fun! Now I wanna do it haha. This sequence works as a great example to show the protagonist's mischievousness and as a preview for more to come.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you! There is definitely more to come:D A lot of mischievious moments like this in the script!
Ada K. Posted 7 months ago
This still makes me laugh , to see more of this race , watching everybody trying to run the race , we even see some of their personalities , Greg fooling around until he hits the rail, priceless. This movie looks like it will be alot of fun. I can't wait to see this...
Tim E. Posted 7 months ago
Its looks as if you had some fun filming this mission... I would have liked to have seen a little bit more...
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
light and funny - definitely in keeping with your trailer. I love that they're wearing helmets! I also like the music with this.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Michelle! Safety first:)
Danielle M. Posted 7 months ago
I like the lighthearted feeling behind your mission video. A lot of action going on here. The upbeat music was a good choice.
Lisa C. Posted 7 months ago
im not 100% of what was really going on, but i couldn't turn away. Very entertaining. Looks like it was a lot of fun :)
Luke B. Posted 7 months ago
This was great fun to watch - so many fond memories of antics in a parkade...
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Yes, good times were had, indeed!!
Bob C. Posted 7 months ago
This was my favorite scene in the trailer! I liked that it was expanded on a little bit here. It looks like it would have been a ton of fun to shoot! Can't wait to see what a million dollars can make an office chair luge look like:D
Catherine M. Posted 7 months ago
I'm not really sure what was happening here, but I enjoyed the action and the use of music was interesting.
Lynne M. Posted 7 months ago
That actually made me giggle at the end, good music and looks like fun. I enjoyed if and would like to see more
Dianna D. Posted 7 months ago
This was fun to watch. The music complemented the lighthearted feel of the scene. Great ending! I love the last shot.
Mary R. Posted 7 months ago
I really enjoy the fun the actors are having in this scene and the energy of the music, but I'm not sure what's going on in terms of story.
Chado M. Posted 7 months ago
It was good to see some footage not seen in the existing trailer. Kind of has an oldschool skateboard video feel. The action could have been sped up a bit to increase the 'actiony' feel.
Karen D. Posted 7 months ago
This seems to be just an extension of your trailer. I would have liked to have seen something new to get a better understanding of what your film is about.
Paige A. Posted 7 months ago
Looks like a lot of fun. It doesn't help me understand what the film is about. I think more should have been included in the speechless mission.
Kyle L. Posted 7 months ago
fun fun fun but I need to see more. I am missing the plot. Waiting to see what happens next to this group.
Stephen S. Posted 7 months ago
Shows how much the group could have fun with the characters and scene, but I agree that it doesn't do much for the plot of the film.
Dana B. Posted 7 months ago
Looks like a fun shoot, but not relevant to moving the plot forward... Didn't impress.
Fen N. Posted 7 months ago
Probably fun to shoot but the music seemed a bit revved up and I wasn't impressed with the shots use more POV
Andy O. Posted 7 months ago
Not sure about this scene. It looked like a lot of fun to shoot. I was kind of hoping for a scene that told me a little more about the plot.
Mateusz M. Posted 7 months ago
It was great! Czekam na komedię, która ma w sobie potężną dawkę dobrego humoru. Chciałbym zobaczyć więcej. Tak trzymać!:)
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you for your kind words, Mateusz! (No, I don't know Polish but I did google translated this. Google translate is the shiz!)
Mateusz M. Posted 7 months ago
I know that! That's why I wrote my comment in polish :P (my english isn't perfect) I only hope Google transtale didn't destroy my opinion.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Google Translate told me you said, "I look forward to comedy, which is in itself a powerful dose of good humor. I would like to see more. keep it up :)" Pretty close? :D
Dan M. Posted 7 months ago
Hahahahhahaha this was my favourite part of the original trailer. Very funny stuff. Keep it up guys.
Deadline M. Posted 7 months ago
This was pretty funny...definitely seemed very Canadian. Haha! Good choice of music to enhance the race.
Gabrielle D. Posted 7 months ago
There are interesting shots, though we sometimes lose the feel of who is in the lead in the race. Great stunt work, and it creates more interest in who the characters are.
Moe M. Posted 7 months ago
Music too fast I think for this scene and I think POV cameras could have enhanced it, it's a bit choppy
Jolene K. Posted 7 months ago
there are two parts that are my favorites with this trailer. This is one of them, it is funny and exciting all in one
Lisa M. Posted 7 months ago
I hope this activity doesn't catch on with office workers - I see a lot of EHS Incidents in the making! Would have been nice to see a new piece in order to see more of what the team can bring.
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
This scene is the reason we got insurance;) Better safe than sorry! lol
Jolene K. Posted 7 months ago
ONE OF THE BEST SCENES FROM THE TRAILER,
Joel S. Posted 7 months ago
Seems a little short and doesn't add anything that wasn't already in the trailer, but I understand that a comedy could have trouble fulfilling this mission! I like the music!
Ella P. Posted 7 months ago
Funny scene. I like the moving camera work that makes you feel like you are a part of the race. This scene could be funny, curious as to how you will fit it in the film. We shall see. Good job.
Dougie M. Posted 7 months ago
Looks good, but does it fit with the movie? Seems familiar??? I think I recall some of it from the pitch
Lindsay S. Posted 7 months ago
Funny scene. Would have been nice if it added something to the story, instead of just expanding on a scene that was already in the trailer.
Janne H. Posted 7 months ago
This looks like fun, but I'm not sure how it relates to the mission . . . Wish it told more of the story.
Maureen M. Posted 7 months ago
I cannot tell what this sequence had to do with the movie but it sure looked like they had fun. This scene sure didn't need words - it was funny!
Candice M. Posted 7 months ago
They become the coolest people in the world and create a movie with the people from Jack Ass. I'd watch that.
