This is one of the best speechless mission videos in my opinion! The sheer irony that a typical interrogation scene is always full of banter, yet Rosalind Revenge gives a totally new performance on how a scene like that can look like! Really talented people are working on this project for sure. I felt that I understood the situation just as clearly as if they would have been talking, and the actors did a great job conveying their emotions and what needed to be said with body language and expressions. I would like to see this movie made some day!
Mack B. Posted 5 months ago
Very intense. You guys did a very good job at showing your story. The use of lighting was also very impressive.
Priyatharshini R. Posted 6 months ago
Intense. I love how you were able to distill all that story down to three gestures: the pass, the open and the close
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you! Hope it left you Speechless ;)
Lindsey D. Posted 6 months ago
I really enjoyed this scene. You managed to make feel sorry for the poor guy being interregated. Great acting!
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks! Both of these guys were amazing to work with!
Emmett M. Posted 6 months ago
Very subtly done and the music is great too. I hope you guys make it to the next rounds. Fingers crossed! :)
You actually managed to pull off an interrogation without words! Would have liked to see more of the interrogator's face towards the end though.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks!
Bren W. Posted 6 months ago
Good use of lighting, intriguing scene, and would be super awkward if it actually happened in real life.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Haha yup! Just what we were going for!
Bill A. Posted 6 months ago
Nice use of color and shadow in this mission, cool to see the room before and after, really shows how much you transformed the space.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Bill! We definitely did make some major changes...we had to use the things we had and transform them into the things we needed! It was a challenge and I think our team is most proud of this mission (and the Redux)
TJ H. Posted 6 months ago
Wow, an interrogation scene without dialogue? Original -- Definitely have never seen that before.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks TJ! That's definitely the reaction we were aiming for!
Rhonda B. Posted 6 months ago
I watched it twice to be far. The acting needs work as the pushing of the paper is well over done, Good try tho
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
To each their own. I find their performance to be raw and while directing I took advice from Derek Cianfrance (Place Beyond the Pines, Blue Valentine). They know each other very well so the chemistry was well established before throwing them into this scene.
Colton M. Posted 6 months ago
This was a really nice sequence but somehow, it didn't turn out as captivating as the other ones. Hoping for the best though!
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks for your input!
Kristi H. Posted 6 months ago
Speechless mission has left me speechless!! Excited to see how this film works out. Good luck Team!
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Glad it did!! Thanks so much!
Kelsie S. Posted 6 months ago
Love how the use of lighting and music set the tone. This has left me "speechless"! Great job team!
Jean F. Posted 6 months ago
I like the music and the lighting but I was looking for a little more drama on the actor's faces. It wasn't as thrilling as I was expecting it to be.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
It's tough when a scene is taken out of context and has to stand alone--we really did our best with what we had! Thanks for the feedback!
Pierre G. Posted 6 months ago
Very subtly done and the music is great too. I hope you guys make it to the next rounds. Fingers crossed! :)
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you very much Pierre!!! We hope so too :) Fingers crossed!
John H. Posted 6 months ago
I believe better acting would help as a little over the top. Too dark for the scene as well but music was good
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks for sharing.
George D. Posted 6 months ago
This is a pretty interesting sequence. Leaves the viewer wondering who is good and who is evil. Maybe that's something we'll see more of in the movie.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
You will definitely see more of that in the movie!
Siluck S. Posted 6 months ago
This is a nice piece from the film - I wish I were seeing Rosalind in your video though. Nonetheless, the tension is most palpable.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Yes unfortunately our 'Rosalind' does not live in town or close to us! So we have to improvise!
Cat R. Posted 6 months ago
Great acting and awesome lighting. I want to watch the rest of this movie...I've enjoyed the concept all along. I'm watching you. :-)
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Cat! Much appreciated!!
Robert J. Posted 6 months ago
I liked how I really didin't know who to trust in this sequence - maybe like a real investigation when the emotions are charged.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Robert!!
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
This was okay. I get the message, but it lacked the "grab you by the guts" feel that separates the real players. Music and lighting was great, but you could have done better.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Fair enough...we are trying to bring our A-game with the limited resources we have. Definitely will try harder in the next missions.
Carly J. Posted 6 months ago
awesome!!! The music fit the mood perfectly
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Carly!!
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
Nice! Great lighting.
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Jane!!
Simon G. Posted 6 months ago
Sorry. Have u ever been interrogated
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Actually I have...
Simon G. Posted 6 months ago
Or realistic. Ha e you e Eric been interrogated? It does not lea e me looking for more. Not sure of your intention
Taryn K. Posted 6 months ago
I love how this mission video trailer turned out the emotion is amazing for an interrogation scene never scene one silent before in my life I loved it
Gianna I. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you so much Taryn, it was the result of an all-nighter, trying to figure out what to film! "Forced creativity"
Mac L. Posted 7 months ago
Nice! Great lighting.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Mac! Steven did a great job!
Loveval A. Posted 7 months ago
The lighting and choice of music made the scene very intense. I am looking forward to more. Hoping and keeping my fingers crossed for you guys!!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks so much!! We have ours crossed too!
Shaun R. Posted 7 months ago
really nice job on this mission i felt is was played off perfectly for the scene and it was a beautiful closing shot very powerful
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Shaun, that last shot was a good bit of setup but I'm really glad we got it!
Kari W. Posted 7 months ago
great job I love what you guys did with this mission I really enjoyed the concept you played with for this really breath taking
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Kari! Really appreciate the compliment!
jack k. Posted 7 months ago
I think that this mission was a hard one and you all created a sequence that delivered what was asked.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Jack!! So glad to see such encouraging comments!
alivia d. Posted 7 months ago
The video is really nicely shot and planned, but you soon realise that nothing much has been revealed in the course of the sequence. Hope the mystery is worth the wait!
chandan s. Posted 7 months ago
I like the music and the lighting but I was looking for a little more drama on the actor's faces. It wasn't as thrilling as I was expecting it to be.
amarjeet y. Posted 7 months ago
This was a really nice sequence but somehow, it didn't turn out as captivating as the other ones. Hoping for the best though!

Maggie K. Posted 7 months ago
Nice atmospheric lighting and sound. I like that you give us two sides of this moment and I don't have a clue who to trust.
Shannon M. Posted 7 months ago
Congrats on some great shots, the lighting was good and overall I liked what I saw, looking forward to your next mission
Mandi B. Posted 7 months ago
Really beautifully shot. Lighting was excellent. You were able to create a lot of suspense with no dialogue. Great job!
Kirk S. Posted 7 months ago
Great suspense. Rosalind Revenge is on my watchlist for good reason. I am looking forward to seeing what this project comes up with next. Keep up the good work.
Wilma S. Posted 7 months ago
it's very mysterious and it's nicely shot. but it doesn't reveal much about the movie but i like the music
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
I think it doesn't want to reveal too much. Controlling information that the audience receives or doesn't is a filmmakers biggest consideration.
Ajit B. Posted 7 months ago
The video is really nicely shot and planned, but you soon realise that nothing much has been revealed in the course of the sequence. Hope the mystery is worth the wait!
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
I think the filmmakers want to reveal more story information inside the film itself. The mission wasn't about revealing anything, it was about visuals and sound design.
Molly B. Posted 7 months ago
I like the music and the lighting but I was looking for a little more drama on the actor's faces. It wasn't as thrilling as I was expecting it to be.
Alexa H. Posted 7 months ago

Brianna M. Posted 7 months ago
Very subtly done and the music is great too. I hope you guys make it to the next rounds. Fingers crossed! :)
Nellemarie H. Posted 7 months ago
I enjoyed the suspense and tension in the scene. Good work!
Brent M. Posted 7 months ago
Hmm. Interesting. I got the feeling this scene wouldn't make it into the actual film; it felt like the silence was imposed as an external condition of the mission rather than being something the characters (ie, Jack Kelly using the silence against the suspect) were doing on purpose. There seemed to be no reason for them not to talk. Well-shot on the whole, though.
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
Unfortunately when you have a mission that requires something the script might not call for, you have to get creative. I also know they wanted to shoot a different scene but arrangements couldn't be made in time, but they made no excuses and delivered.
Amanda R. Posted 7 months ago
The intensity of this silent interrogation needs a huge explosive action like The husband needs to lose it, like he should start screaming "I loved her!" And then he'll flip the table over and throws the chair.
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
I totally agree, it must have been very hard to stick within the no dialogue mission constraint.
Mia O. Posted 7 months ago
The video is really nicely shot and planned, but you soon realise that nothing much has been revealed in the course of the sequence. Hope the mystery is worth the wait!
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
Finding a balance between mystery and what to reveal is hard, especially if they hope to tell their story in their feature film and not the missions.
Quinn S. Posted 7 months ago
I like the music and the lighting but I was looking for a little more drama on the actor's faces. It wasn't as thrilling as I was expecting it to be.
Peyton L. Posted 7 months ago
This was a really nice sequence but somehow, it didn't turn out as captivating as the other ones. Hoping for the best though!
Charlotte B. Posted 7 months ago
You actually managed to pull off an interrogation without words! Would have liked to see more of the interrogator's face towards the end though.
Hannah B. Posted 7 months ago
Very subtly done and the music is great too. I hope you guys make it to the next rounds. Fingers crossed! :)
Monique L. Posted 7 months ago
I loved the lighting in this. It's really stylized but it works for a scene with no dialogue in an interrogation room.
Oliver R. Posted 7 months ago
Love the suspense
Derek B. Posted 7 months ago
This was really well put together. And I love how you explore the tension on both sides of the interrogation. Interesting choice for a speechless exercise indeed!
Benoit C. Posted 7 months ago
nice cutting back and forth, good use of angles and especially great appropriation of silence and tension!
Cloee C. Posted 7 months ago
damn. yeah the lighting. adds so much emotion, very lively. clever techniques last shot makes you want more
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
I love that last shot and I couldn't figure out why, but I think that sums it perfectly!
Paula B. Posted 7 months ago
I really enjoyed the lighting int this scene; very dramatic. Especially when the door closes and it goes completely black. Sets the tone.
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
Ah this was awesome! I love the way the set was lit and the music helped build anticipation just perfectly. This movie is really starting to grow on me. Looking forward to seeing more.
Scott S. Posted 7 months ago

Your team did another great job loved the look of the mission and great concept really felt imaginative
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you David!!
Daniel H. Posted 7 months ago
I think the strongest aspect of this video is the music. The amount of emotion the music conveys makes the scene so much stronger. Well done!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Yes music was a fun process haha! :)
Luke S. Posted 7 months ago
Nice job! Digs into the emotions of a wordless interrogation really well. And the music totally sells it! #Starkers
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Luke!! :) Love your mission video too!
Frances L. Posted 7 months ago

Thanks Darren...it was a lot of work...stayed up until 6am writing the script haha!
Sarah L. Posted 7 months ago
cool lighting.sets the tone and the mood. The eyes say it all. Intense and full of emotion. Loved the way it was shot.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Sarah!! The actors were amazing to work with!
Kaitlyn M. Posted 7 months ago
I love that it's an interrogations that's happening in silence - such a strong choice. There's also something to be admired that even in the simplicity of the scene, so much is happening.
Very powerful lighting as well! Great job!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you Kaitlyn! Very much appreciate the compliments :)
Shelley T. Posted 7 months ago
Love the use of lighting here guys. It really adds something special to this scene. Great work, can't wait to see more.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you Shelley :)
Ryan B. Posted 7 months ago
I had a teacher once who said "acting happens in the silence. obviously, these actors had the same teacher.
Scott S. Posted 7 months ago
Maybe lol thank you
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
This was very effective. The music and lighting did a great job here to add to your scene. Well done guys

The music was great and the lighting was effective. I need to watch the trailer again to get a better grasp of the emotion.
Scott S. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you we had a lot of work go into this mission
Jacques M. Posted 7 months ago
The video is really nicely shot and planned, but you soon realise that nothing much has been revealed in the course of the sequence. Hope the mystery is worth the wait!
Scott S. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you and the mystery and twist are definitely worth the wait we did not want to spoil anything with the scene it's is a very intense seen once you know the story line :)
nithi k. Posted 7 months ago

Scott S. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you for the input
Jacques P. Posted 7 months ago
This was a really nice sequence but somehow, it didn't turn out as captivating as the other ones. Hoping for the best though!

Scott S. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you so much this one was a lot of work for us but definitely worth it
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
You've done a decent job here. Especially doing an interrogation with no words. I just found that I wasn't WOWed by the performances, compared to some of the other missions I've watched.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Michelle--we focused more so on the cinematography & the music for this week's mission so no close ups and no spoilers! :)
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Fan mission : What happens next Detective re-enters the room picks up the folder and starts flipping thought the images.
He pulls out one of the victim photos and places it in front of the man.
Detective: This one is my favourite. The obvious passion you showed in these carvings on her stomach must have brought you....enjoyment.
The man looks up from the photo horrified by what he saw. The man half stands up and vomits all over the detective and the photo.
Great use of that long shot that starts at 1:11 - makes me crave for the next scene. Also love the cinematography. To be honest, you had me at: "90% more work gets done if you use your hands while you talk." Sean from Team M&M
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Sean! Hopefully we'll get to do the next scene soon! :)
Mara F. Posted 7 months ago
The guy really looks conflicted with what ever was in the file. I cant tell if its because he did it or he is sad because of loss.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
A little mystery is always good :) Thanks Mara!
mirdy p. Posted 7 months ago
You really got a feeling from the expressions and music what the charactors were feeling. I liked it!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Mirdy! Just what we were aiming for! :)
Kristi H. Posted 7 months ago
Love the ominous feeling of this!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Kristi!!
Hannah R. Posted 7 months ago
The filming of this scene is incredible when you look at what you were working with. Having used this room for other projects it is incredible to see what can happen with some creativity. You guys are amazing
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks so much Hannah! You're the best :D
Rose L. Posted 7 months ago
Very effective use of low lighting, silhouette and negative space. I love the idea of a silent interrogation. Great job. Congrats from #LDRfilm
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks LDR! You guys are great! :)
Lindsey M. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting moment to create silence. Typically this is a dialgoue heavy time, very creative take on this one.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you Lindsey! It was a lot of work but well worth it :)
Mandy G. Posted 7 months ago
The darkness and music really created the mood for an interrogation. Left the viewer wanting more. Nice.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Mandy...can definitely see the difference when comparing the photo of the room to the actual video! Crazy!
Mikaela C. Posted 7 months ago
Ooooooo... Juicy. I like the darkness in Jack's eyes, hooded and empty, but I wish I could have seen a little more of the Detectives eyes to balance that image. Wicked closing shot, super sexy pan. -- Team Rabbit
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Team Rabbit! :) Really appreciate the feedback & will definitely see more of Jack's eyes in the future!
Marcel J. Posted 7 months ago
That was really good! The tension made the scene. Great way to use no dialog! Great lighting also. #TeamRosalind
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Marcel!!
Matty G. Posted 7 months ago
Real good work you guys. Tension was killer. It's almost like a good cop/quiet cop sort of routine. Nice work!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Matty! You guys are awesome!
Kate M. Posted 7 months ago
The score was well chosen and the lack of dialogue was genius! The mystery remains much stronger with this technique.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Definitely fits within our genre :) Thanks Kate!
AChristine W. Posted 7 months ago
Good acting and camera shots. Thought the music was perfect for the mission. Just felt the there was something missing.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you for the feedback...hopefully there won't be anything missing for next week's video :)
Jonathon C. Posted 7 months ago
Loved the score as well, good character exposition. It's so difficult to get as much out of this as I wanted but either way well done!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Jonathon...ya it was tough as if we pushed it further it would be a spoiler!
Dale B. Posted 7 months ago
The music set the tone very well, I think the tension was there although I think you may have been able to build it a bit if you had Mr. Kelly slowly place each photo in front of the husband and then have him react with the sweeping them off, but overall I thought it was well done !! Keep up the good work.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Dale! Haha we only had the one photo to work with! :) But definitely when we get funding that would be an option for sure!
LeeAnn D. Posted 7 months ago
While the filming and acting was done very well, I'm not sure it interested me enough...I felt there was nothing new about how the scene was done, except no dialogue.... The suspense was not intense enough...maybe a more vivid picture...
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Ya it's definitely tough working within the confines of the mission as well as what we're limited to financially. We did what we could though! Hopefully we can impress on the next mission! :)
aaron b. Posted 7 months ago
I loved the camera work!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Aaron!
Kayla S. Posted 7 months ago
Genius idea to have no dialogue! It kept me wondering what was going to happen, now I just have to find out.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
You'll have to wait! Hopefully not too long :)
Jason M. Posted 7 months ago
this scene put you on edge from the get go the like of dialogue adds to the tension that slowly builds with the music.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Jason! It was a fun mission for us to work on!
Bill G. Posted 7 months ago
A hopeful scene as a capture & arrest in the murders are done. I would have like to have seen some background info on the suspect to give more to the conflict in the story.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks for the feedback Bill! Would've loved to do that but it would've been a spoiler :)
Stephanie M. Posted 7 months ago
Love the way the scene was shot. The absence of dialogue actually makes the scene more intense and makes the viewers think, unlike when a video is full of dialogue and they take the words as they are without looking into the deeper meaning. Amazing job. Looking forward to watching more.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Stephanie! Really appreciate the compliments! :)
Amy Z. Posted 7 months ago
What a great scene. You did some great work with this mission!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you Amy!!
Reel F. Posted 7 months ago
Great job, love how the music adds to the scene and is perfectly timed to action. Last shot was a beauty.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you very much! Took a few takes to get the timing down on the last shot but yes we are very happy with it too! :)
Steven H. Posted 7 months ago
Had an awesome time working on this, really proud of what we were able to accomplish! Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
For those unaware...Steven is the genius behind the cinematography! :)

Kate W. Posted 7 months ago
Lighting is beautiful. It creates such intensity.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
There was definitely a good bit of setup for this scene but it turned out great! Thanks! :)
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
Great use of lighting throughout the scene, from the contrast between the two subjects to how the areas/subjects are lit based on their use in the narrative. Great job guys!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Afzal! Really appreciate the feedback!
John B. Posted 7 months ago
Wow, That was intense! The music set perfect undertones for the scene. Maybe I'm a little biased, but this turned out extremely well. Great work team!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Haha thanks John! :) You're the best!
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
Great work John!
Scott S. Posted 7 months ago

Douglas M. Posted 7 months ago
NIcely done Rosalind team. I think you really nailed it on this one. Lighting was great. The story was clear. Strong acting. Very nicely shot. Good choices all 'round. You got my vote!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Doug :)
Maureen M. Posted 7 months ago
Love the drama that lighting can add to a scene. The simple act of opening the folder then the despair after seeing the pictures...really well done.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Maureen! Have to hand that to our DP, Steven Hayes! We really challenged him with this one and he did an amazing job! :)

Thanks Allan! Haven't finished watching all the others yet...but so far i90 is my fav! :)

I think this was shot well and the lighting added to the drama. I'd like to know more about the story and how this fits in...
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Jane! We definitely hope to reveal that in the next mission! :)
Tyler S. Posted 7 months ago
Here we have a mission that not only is in one location but also shows us behind the scenes photos of the room they were working in, it looks nothing like the end result. Another great example of what a TRUE indie film can accomplish, rather than some teams whose missions look like they’ve finished their films.

Thanks Tyler! You're the man, man!
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
we should definitely splice together that before and after shot, love how you can alter a location and make it seem completely different than what it is
Cathy S. Posted 7 months ago
Okay, that was very impressive. Really liked the lighting and always amazes me just how loud opening a paper folder can be.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Cathy! We put a lot of hours into this one! :)
Stacey A. Posted 7 months ago
Another mission well done. Congrats!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Stacey! We love hearing from you!

The background music was used very well in the scene. Added suspense to all the right areas. Another great job guys!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Kris! Have to give that to the amazingly talented Nigel Goodwin, who composed the music for the scene!

I loved the scene interrogation ! I just want to see more! It was suspenseful and dramatic without any words! Absolutely amazing!
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Thank you! That's what we were going for & are happy you enjoyed it!
Nicole H. Posted 7 months ago
I did enjoy it! I still cannot wait to see how this story unfolds!!
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
Love how it does a great job conveying mood without dialog! The sound design compliments the action really well.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
With a great team, we have great accomplishments!

Nice work. Love how the music elevates everything. It is amazing what can be done without any dialogue.
