This must have been difficult to shoot. Hats off for managing to pull it off so well! Good luck for the missions ahead.
Kiki B. Posted 5 months ago
Loooooooove this concept! You've got a great mix of survivor man meets Borat. Hope you get this made.
Ann G. Posted 5 months ago
Nothing like having some friends with a chopper! Wild Bill and helicopters make for a great speechless reel.
Zoltan M. Posted 5 months ago
Left for dead, wow it is a pretty incredible scene and done in a way that is so grittily real that you can not help be entranced. Just the sound of the chopper. I don't know who Wild Bill is but I picture like a modern version of Jeremiah Johnson. Legend and also man at the same time. Maybe he was someone like ALexander supertramp from into the wild. I don't know I haven't looked at the other videos from this filmmaking team but it says I should use my imagination to keep telling the story. From what I've seen though I think the makers of this film can tell a way better story than I.
Iris O. Posted 5 months ago
Helicopter wow! I'm somewhat surprised that this film didn't make it to the top 10. It has potential.
Steve R. Posted 5 months ago
Cool pictures!
Robyn R. Posted 5 months ago
I miss you guys, you remind me of weird al and all of his crazy songs, all the fun stuff... So creative:)
Marly V. Posted 5 months ago
Really high production value. Where in the world did you guys get a chopper?!?! Very impressed. Too bad you guys did not make the top 10.
Julie N. Posted 6 months ago
HOT DAMN this looks good. I can't get over the fact that this movie hasn't been made yet. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
Meaghan D. Posted 6 months ago
the helicopter effect is really cool and i love all the different angles. pretty cool concept.
Matt T. Posted 6 months ago
Looks insane. Best idea I've seen in this competition, it really gets my blood flowing. I'm aroused.
Blake N. Posted 6 months ago
Whoa! That's a lot of work, helicopters and all. Nice to see some people are really digging deep into their wallets already! ;)
Mitch A. Posted 6 months ago
I think the point of view of the camera makes this a cool clip. The noise of the helicopter filters the need for speech.
Ella H. Posted 6 months ago
This must have been difficult to shoot. Hats off for managing to pull it off so well! Good luck for the missions ahead.
Emily M. Posted 6 months ago
Hmmm....really makes me wonder as to where this story is going. Interesting video! Show us some more of the story soon! Good luck for the rounds ahead!
Marion S. Posted 6 months ago
the black flashes when not from the guys POV don't really fit... also the copter sound is super thin & no need for the wind distortion at the beginning
Sophia S. Posted 6 months ago
You can totally explain the lack of speech here as the noise of the helicopter drowning things out lol! Good job though! :D
Emma J. Posted 6 months ago
Hahah! I agree! Nice to see some fancy things in the competition once in a while. Most of the others are really working out the shoestring budget.

Quite the dramatic scene. Great use of the different screens to capture the emotion or lack off emotion in the picture.
Becca R. Posted 6 months ago
Videos awesome. Great choice for the speechless video.. really can't wait to see the movie !!!!!!!!!
Joslyn P. Posted 6 months ago
Nice shots!
Jeannette L. Posted 6 months ago
Some of my friends are flight nurses - liked the colour of the grass - what camera are you shooting on?
Steph K. Posted 6 months ago
There is something wrong with your video. I tried to load several times and nothing. Will it be reloaded. I would like to see it
Huaguang S. Posted 6 months ago
great scene, but wait...no chuckles? Well, even though he is being rescued by competent professionals, he'll still manage to fall out of his harness
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
cool
Simon G. Posted 6 months ago
Not great for a speechless video. Could have chosen better for this as came across a little weak for this kind of film
Vickrum M. Posted 6 months ago
cool!
Zhong Z. Posted 6 months ago
although I liked the look of this scene, I found the lack of dialogue pulled me out; rescue workers not speaking is unrealistic
Cameron W. Posted 6 months ago
nice--just the helicopter sound works very well. is this the end? He's being rescued and is out...he's probably just dehydrated!!
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
Ah I want to know what happened to him
Louise m. Posted 7 months ago
This video was awesome! I cant believe you would kill Wild Bill off, or does he make it? I hope I get the opportunity to find out!
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
Left for Dead is a comedy film with a lot of heart, the legends in this scene thou are the volenteers from Nelson Search and Rescue and the Beasley Fire Department.
Will B. Posted 7 months ago
Great shot! It draws me in, I do think a bit of music could help inform me how or what I am supposed to feel, or give me an idea of who these people/characters are but good luck!
Monika T. Posted 7 months ago
Woah! How'd you get a heliocopter??? Does he make it? Definitely left me in suspense ;) great job!!!
Emily H. Posted 7 months ago
not really sure if I am getting the story here with this trailer but good use of helicopter would have like to see the story a bit more
Tyrath B. Posted 7 months ago
really liked the starkness of this, with no music, just the sound of the helicopter -- the lack of dialogue makes it very 'unreal'
jerry lee c. Posted 7 months ago
it's okay I gues....lots of neat props that actually work. impressive.
Raine W. Posted 7 months ago
Oh man the sound really killed me. Interesting point of view for the resue. Pretty awesome you guys have a helicopter.
Treena U. Posted 7 months ago
I sure liked the camera angles. I'm not sure if I was a fan of the camera cutting out although I understand why it was done...
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Well done the lack of music or other sound works really well for this scene. Plus having a helicopter added some nice production value.

Awesome work boys. Love the different perspectives you get from the camera work. Really cool! My vote goes to you guys. Best of luck in the Top 40
Cheri-Lyn W. Posted 7 months ago
This is a nice video, love the sound work, good job guys. I wouldn't quite say it's Apocolypse Now but still good.
Jeevin J. Posted 7 months ago

I like the way this was shot. The flickering and the views of the rescuers gave the impression that there might be hope but no indication of how much hope. I want to see what happens next.
Sean B. Posted 7 months ago
This scene shows the rawness of these creators. They clearly have some skill and a trendy way of doing things.

I wish it weren't so dark. I can see what you were going for but I found the dimness of it really distracting.
Sandra M. Posted 7 months ago
Nice scene. Goes well with what you have already done and ties in nicely. Liked that it keeps the story going.
Billie T. Posted 7 months ago
Shot really well. I like the differing perspectives. Not quite sure where it all fits, but a commendable job.
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
You've done a good job at showing me something different - which I really appreciate. I just wish that you had done something that might have shown me more character or plot development.
Brendan M. Posted 7 months ago
Some really interesting camera work and editing in this one. You guys have definitely stepped it up for this mission
Kyle M. Posted 7 months ago
I really like the effects you used. Great shot guys. Will Bill is the legend we all have been waiting for.

yea that is pretty ballin to have a helicpoter in your scene, that's awesome. I agree with most below, I want to see more now.
Gail M. Posted 7 months ago
Hey from TO!
Jenna M. Posted 7 months ago
Good use of the camera, and the fact that you kept the camera on as Wild Bill was getting transported off.
Lucas P. Posted 7 months ago
Love it! This really sets things up for the movie. It makes me want to see it even more. What happens with Wild Bill? Was his footage just found or did he manage to survive. I think you guys are doing a great job.
Doug M. Posted 7 months ago
This is a great clip.......keeps me intrigued as to what the outcome of the legend of wild Bill is going to be, great work.
Lisa B. Posted 7 months ago
I agree with wondering where this is leading the story as it seems more of an ending to a survival story. And I would assume that there would be more of a sense of urgency with rescuing someone. I love how there is a helicopter, but I wonder why it was so difficult to find him if he is just laying in the middle of the field. Just one more thing, this really makes me want to find out the rest of the story... Good luck.
mike e. Posted 7 months ago
left for dead? but they picked him up. im confused. That being said, neat idea. did you really want to make a movie, or was this just an excuse to play in a helicopter? haha i kid of course. best of luck
Jeff P. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting how you kept the camera on as he was getting airlifted out. Made for good affect. Nice work on getting a helicopter
Tim R. Posted 7 months ago
Wow way to go. Loved the POV shots. Great insight into your camera skills and the effort you put into your film. Like a helicopter? For real? Awesome!
Brenden M. Posted 7 months ago
I did not expect anybody to have a helicopter!!! Very cool guys!! This video totally rocks!! Woooooo
Branden S. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting with the helicopters and the colour matching is quite nice, good job on that, i always find it makes a difference

This really does keep you guessing as to whether or not Bill made it out alive on his last mission.............
Glenn R. Posted 7 months ago
wow, very impressing rescue. a great job with such a low budget film. would love to see this trailer become a full scale production
Rebecca B. Posted 7 months ago
I did not expect this! Helicopters , rescue crew, the works! Looks like a big budget movie! Really nicely done.
Beverley R. Posted 7 months ago
Very good filming........is he dead or alive......did he make it through the last mission to honour Bob Catts????
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
Amazing visuals!!! This sequence shows a totally different side of your creativity. Bravo. POV angles tell a lot about how the narrative will flow. Great job!
Mark R. Posted 7 months ago
The POV camera angles create a realistic feel of desperation giving the overall feel of a live rescue effort.
Cody K. Posted 7 months ago
completely different tone to this than your pitch trailer. This is awesome! -The last Video store
Jessica L. Posted 7 months ago
I really like the colors, they're so vibrant. It's so simply but it really tells us a story within the movie.
Leslie P. Posted 7 months ago
Liking this a lot, pretty fun angles keeping it original, obviously the head cam shots are unique. Choppers are loud! Almost felt like I was there with you!
Sarah D. Posted 7 months ago
Beautiful camera work! Very appealing to look at! So cool to have the helicopter too. The sound of the helicopter was a bit much for me though.
David F. Posted 7 months ago
Excellent shots. Angle is really cool from teh perspective of the injured. keep up the good work team.
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Really nice work with the shutter. So,e of those shots were really spectacular. I've really liked this concept from the start of the competition.
Jay R. Posted 7 months ago
Having the helicopter in this shot was pretty sweet. Must have been hard to shoot. Would have like to hear more of a score though, hard to hear it over the copter.
Ilana D. Posted 7 months ago
I get what you're trying to do with the disorientating angles and shots, but it's too much. It was really hard to focus on what was happening.
Tyler R. Posted 7 months ago
Oooo..now I'm interested! I never thought that Wild Bill would actually have to be rescued haha now I'm curious
Roy H. Posted 7 months ago
The cutting of shots with the flickering really felt distracting rather than help tell the story. Also felt like a random scene.
Brad K. Posted 7 months ago
not much in the way of plot line and got to watch the audio levels at the start framing was cool in some shots but lacking in others. I want to see more.
Kyle L. Posted 7 months ago
ok that was pretty neat. you are doing good work. waiting to see what comes next. A couple off colour shots but I like
aaron b. Posted 7 months ago
The chopper shot was pretty cool but I was not a fan of the filming angles, made me feel a little sick .
Yvonne L. Posted 7 months ago
So how close to those blades was the camera?
Andy O. Posted 7 months ago
Well done! Anytime a chopper is used...wicked. Hope to see more from your team. Good luck and keep up the good work.
Amy Z. Posted 7 months ago
Great footage again gentleman! I am always so impressed with the lengths you go to for your work. So proud! Good Luck!
Steven H. Posted 7 months ago
Still getting the same feeling from this as I have with your past missions and trailers...just seems average to me, nothing stands out in terms of how its shot or it's visual appeal. It's just alright for me. I feel that you guys need something to change to take it to the next level to elevate this above the rest.
Stacey A. Posted 7 months ago
I'm guessing this is the end of the movie, cause I'm hoping these people picked him up and took him to safety.
Jacquie G. Posted 7 months ago
love the way you shot this it looks really really good Jacquie Pretty Life
Amiee R. Posted 7 months ago
Can't wait to watch the movie and find out what happens to Wild Bill!!!
Ayla L. Posted 7 months ago
Hmm, Theres nothing that really making me want to keep watching, If this came on on my tv, it would be the minute thirty where I felt safe to go grab a soda
Joanne M. Posted 7 months ago
I agree with some of the other comments. I found the angles and the light and dark parts super disctracting and hard to watch.
Kerry M. Posted 7 months ago
This was a distracting kind of scene that really didn't make me want to watch more of the film, or to stay engaged
Dallas M. Posted 7 months ago
I was a little thrown off by the flashing of light and dark parts of the filming and some of the angles.
Kris J. Posted 7 months ago
This is great! Definitely one of the best "Speechless" entries so far. Amazing how you were able to get the helicopter to land so close to Wild Bill. Great camera angles too!
