good work on set and costume design good use of effects the fighting was a bit slow and look a little fake but other then that good job
Richard Z. Posted 5 months ago
Sure as if nobody hears you, you guys are so loud. Then those weak blows and slaps to the faces. Boy O Boy. Get the dogs out and clear out the joint. Get real guns guys and ladies.
Zoltan M. Posted 5 months ago
This is funny! I think it is awesome thing to watch this retro action stuff again! Transmission, wow it is a pretty incredible scene and done in a way that is so grittily yet light hearted that you can not help be entranced. Just the soundtrack and the guns. I don't know what the story is but I picture like a throwback to awesome 80's action movies. Legend and also man at the same time. Maybe the main guy is someone like Stallone in Expendables. I don't know I haven't looked at the other videos from this filmmaking team but it says I should use my imagination to keep telling the story. From what I've seen though I think the makers of this film can tell a way better story than I.
Rob E. Posted 5 months ago
Nice one, guys. There's also a ton of production value going on in this shot. The fog, the guns, all the actors. You guys have a lot of cool resources
Priyatharshini R. Posted 6 months ago
Wow, great action sequences guys. This movie looks like a bit of a rollercoaster. Creepy location too.
Matt T. Posted 6 months ago
Ooh, fancy, like German doily artwork framed within a canvas of quick-rise yeast and delectable unknowns.
Dylan L. Posted 6 months ago
This really built up anticipation, but I'm not sure it delivers. The action sequences just weren't believable.
LIs D. Posted 6 months ago
Very interesting work. Great sound effects and visual effects. You can tell exactly whats going on. Well done.
Alex B. Posted 6 months ago
hmmm...i dont know where to go with this...the premise looks good but i think a bit of work on the fight choreography could use some work...other than that kinda reminds me of some "Road Warrior"
Em K. Posted 6 months ago
Ka-POW! BOP! Blam!!!
Marion S. Posted 6 months ago
if the punches were faster & harder and the guys beside her weren't just standing there, maybe i could get behind this...
Jolene K. Posted 6 months ago
wow
Panta M. Posted 6 months ago
Awesome movie!! awesome cast and an even more amazing crew ;) This project needs to make it to the top 15 because the story is so unique and its never been done before!! and it has a very original genre :)
Jeannette L. Posted 6 months ago
The setting and the makeup looked good - props were good. Consider getting help from a fight choreographer when you go to shoot this scene "for real".
Tyler M. Posted 6 months ago
We have a fight choreographer attached to the project!
AJ S. Posted 6 months ago
Not appealing to me at all. Not following what you have do e or your intentions. I can't see this as a feature
Lisa a. Posted 6 months ago
I don't really get this movie so I watched the trailer a few times. A good concept but a weak scene.
Jenny A. Posted 6 months ago
I agree a bit better then the trailer but also agree on fighting scenes. Not great and yes could have used better editing etc on that front
Mark V. Posted 6 months ago
I thought that it was a large improvement over the trailer. although I found the fighting cheesy and comedic. the gunshots also sounded like they were from a 1940's western/cowboy esc movie.
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
cool
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
This showed a lot about the film. But the fps should have been faster, to make it look like a real fight, rather than a clop from a Batman film. Perhaps the intent was not to make it look real.
Clay W. Posted 6 months ago
like a dream, there's some morse code embedded in there too ;)
Joslyn P. Posted 7 months ago
That's interesting artwork
Lauren A. Posted 7 months ago
The fight scene was really weak. It didn't seem realistic at all. I did like the costumes and lighting.
Lindsey M. Posted 7 months ago
This kind of reminds me of the Warriors! There's some excellent art direction happening here. Love the visuals.
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
The fighting wasn't very believable but great makeup as usual and location
Emily M. Posted 7 months ago
I love the creepy warehouse setting! The surreal timing and look of this project are fun. I can't wait to see more of your vision!
Jenny M. Posted 7 months ago
We didn't.
Suzie C. Posted 7 months ago
Pretty darn cool if you ask me!
Naomi K. Posted 7 months ago
i like that you went for it and shot a full scene with loads happening...but the big flaw is the fights almost look deliberately artificial and choreographed like a modern dance routine.
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
or maybe it's a dream...
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
I felt you did a good job with the sound and most of the foly work. The smoke and the lighting worked well and I liked the set. However the fight scenes were too slow and because of that there was no real tension.
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
did it seem dreamlike to you?
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
No. You could try changing the colour grade just a bit or softening the image just a bit so there is a bit of variety between reality and the dream. If you still want to have slower fight scenes for dream sequences you could try to create a floating camera effect.
David C. Posted 7 months ago
Wait, thought this was "speechless" one guy says clear. Do you get docked marks for that? I mean that is speech right?
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
the rules stated dialogue which means two people talking, we're totally in the clear!
Charles T. Posted 7 months ago
Careful! she may very slowly kick everyone with a gun's ass! and she's coming directly down the middle very... slowly...
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
it's like a dream isn't it?
Ellen M. Posted 7 months ago
I am really intrigued by this and looking forward to seeing the finished product in the theatre very soon
Donal O. Posted 7 months ago
It starts out well, but falls down as it progresses. The pacing is right, the sets & costumes great. The music left me wanting more and the fight scene....
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
the fight scene lets you know that it is not real ;)
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
I liked the set and the atmosphere. But I've got to agree with Jonathan R on this one - the fight scene really needed some work - the sound didn't appear to be real, and the fighting was way too staged.
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
yes we intended the fight not to seem real, because it's a dream ;)
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
I didn't get that it was a dream - perhaps if that's the case, you should do a little more to make that obvious - if that's what you're hoping the viewer will realize. If you don't want the viewer to realize it's a dream, then you probably want to work on improving the fight scene - your call, I'm just trying to provide constructive feedback.
Jen P. Posted 7 months ago
Love the build up. Great location and great characters. Seems like you had a lot of fun with this. Good job!
Jonathan R. Posted 7 months ago
I agree...the build up was alright but the fight sequences were painful...made it seem like a comedy
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
or a dream perhaps...
Jamie T. Posted 7 months ago
I really want to cheer for this but the action sequence just doesn't kill it for me. The build up was working but they payoff wasn't "Hell ya!" enough
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
Yes the Maverics are lucky they didn't let the Fatal escape, but did one of their own release the high chancellor during the ruckus! Oh oh...
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
do you say hell yah when you wake up from a dream?
Aaron S. Posted 7 months ago
I think I see where you were going with this, I just didn't feel like suspense was built to a level where I bought in (accepting that it was a really tough challenge). Was this written specifically or was it shot as part of your main shoot?
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
This is an excerpt that we shot of a specific scene in our film. Time constraints only allowed us to shoot part of the full scene.
Aaron S. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks for the clarification, I'd really like to see it full length at some point, I'm really enjoying what you guys are doing.
Dianh G. Posted 7 months ago
awesome
Jackson Y. Posted 7 months ago
Love the make-up! I feel as if the movie could have a lot of stimulating visuals from all the make-up and battle scenes!
Gertray D. Posted 7 months ago
You worked the camera, lighting and special effects wisely. The fighting action was off to the music though. I still liked it.
Kim Y. Posted 7 months ago
Very intriguing character design and makeup! It kind of feels like Total Recall meets Lost Boys...Very neat!
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
thanks Kim, glad you like the world we've created :)
Ryan H. Posted 7 months ago
The Fight scene came together well, it looks like it took a lot of setup to get all of the elements to come together as well as they did.
Teague P. Posted 7 months ago
The music sets the tone for the scene. Eerie and dark. Very fitting for the movie. The movie has a very interesting plot and I like that the girls can kick some ass too. The effects and camera movements keep the viewer engaged and interested as well.
The music, and the way the camera moved around looked like a video game of sorts. Cool affects, and choice of music.
Debbie P. Posted 7 months ago
Liked the mood created by the music, the dark shots, the smoke. Liked the fight scene as it felt choreographed, staged in a way that suits the surreal nature of this film.
Violette P. Posted 7 months ago
I liked the music going with the fight scene. The slow action in the fight makes us wonder was it real or a dream? not sure. hope that was done intentionally.
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
Yes, you're definately picking up the right cues, I'm glad it's coming across the way we intended!
Casey P. Posted 7 months ago
good work on set and costume design good use of effects the fighting was a bit slow and look a little fake but other then that good job
Brenden M. Posted 7 months ago
The set is great. Love the fog when they walk in. Seems like you had a lot of fun creating the characters!
Branden S. Posted 7 months ago
Dreamy! I like the video, all of the characters are unique, its noir, its action. Its great! I wish my dreams were like it
mary J. Posted 7 months ago
I love the intrigue of being in the dreamiing. I can see how this could develop, the imbalance of dreaming and reality
Brenda L. Posted 7 months ago
Lots of action to keep things interesting, like the pause as the one character stops to light a cigarette.
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
The editing is amazing! I'm sure this sequence will make more sense as part of a larger narrative but on it's own it doesn't really tell anything. It appears as if someone is playing a video game in their dreams :)
Clay W. Posted 7 months ago
I like the way you think ;)
mirdy p. Posted 7 months ago
Im not sure what was happening in this mission. I did like where it was shot looked kind of dark and scary.
Dina B. Posted 7 months ago
very typical simple sound editing not much to the mix i consider this to be very below average basically fits in the category of B movies.
Holly F. Posted 7 months ago
The use of sound, lighting, smoke is very dramatic and holds the suspense. The fighting not so convincing, more like dancing. Is that intended?
Clay W. Posted 7 months ago
dreams do have a sureal style and feeling do they not?
patricia s. Posted 7 months ago
wish I knew what this movie was about
Clay W. Posted 7 months ago
people said the same thing about "the Matrix" before it came out.
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Reasonably well done fight scene. Not sure about the music selection but the sound editing was decent. Looking forward to more
Jane M. Posted 7 months ago
Great fight scene. Like the badass girl
Angelo S. Posted 7 months ago
I have a hard time knowing if I'm supposed to be laughing or not. Is this supposed to be campy? Either way, I think it's falling short.
Emersen Z. Posted 7 months ago
Ha Ha HA So Good. I love how BadAss this is
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
That's exactly what we think :)
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
I continue to be interested in your project and i enjoy following your progress. This wasn't my favourite scene but I just think I need to understand more about the movie as a whole.
Dana B. Posted 7 months ago
I really wish I knew what this movie was about?! Good costumes and make up.
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
Yes we are teasing you a bit, glad you're interested to find out more about our project!!!
Em K. Posted 7 months ago
Looks great! With some $$$, you could beef up the visual and sound effects. Good job!
Bernice G. Posted 7 months ago
Good action!!
Joanne M. Posted 7 months ago
I found this scene to be fun of suspense wondering what was going on and what the conflict was all about. Liked the music.
anda r. Posted 7 months ago
Good action clip, but I found it at time too dark to make sense, maybe you can lighten it up a little? otherwise I found it had good intensity of the moment.
Erik H. Posted 7 months ago
Liked the clip. the film seems pretty interesting. I would really like to see the finished product. Keep up the good work guys.
Kerry M. Posted 7 months ago
I think the scene is very effective in creating a bit of a dream sequence. Like the effect with the haze, costumes and action
Shannon M. Posted 7 months ago
Seemed a bit short but I tough scene to film, good job with the effects especially make up and costumes
Dallas M. Posted 7 months ago
I really like the way you did the fight scenes with the slow and deliberate movements, found that to be an interesting touch.
Stuart P. Posted 7 months ago
interesting, but the fight seen needs some work and also some explanations on how the girl can take out three full grown men.
Clay W. Posted 7 months ago
Explanation: For one it's a dream world... the protagonist dream. In the dream reality, a future world ruled by womankind, the Fatals are the Queens elite guard. Sort of like a Jedi Knight, it takes very few Fatals to reap major havoc.
As for the scene itself, it was shot during the filming of the teaser and was never designed to be a complete or full scene. This is just extra Teaser footage turned into a Speechless mission.
Clay W. Posted 7 months ago
Also she only took out 2 men. The third recaptured her. BTW
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
One Fatal is very deadly, and can take out many men. Thanks for noticing, that's exactly the point we were trying to make.
Brenda M. Posted 7 months ago
Looks like there is a little action coming our way! Will be interesting to see how this conflict plays out and how it ties in with "dreaming your salvation".
