Aarrgghh!! another woman is murdered in a grizzly manner. very artistically shot but tired old theme
Scott G. Posted 5 months ago
Eek, creepy. This looks like a very grizzly movie. Great cinematography and a spectacular location. Long live BC Flim!
pam v. Posted 5 months ago
fantastic camera work looks you guys have a great team. very spooky to bad that this one didn't make it. it had great potential.
Lisa B. Posted 5 months ago
The establish shots of the forest are really cool. I really enjoyed the rack focus and the shots of the dead body.
Perry M. Posted 6 months ago
very interesting to watch. Whenever there is confusion, fear, suspense and running away from something or being chased..then coming up to a house..well done!
Julie N. Posted 6 months ago
simply extraordinary. Is that actually how you spell extraordinary? WOW it's like "extra" "ordinary"!! WHO KNEW
Adam M. Posted 6 months ago
I like this, but the story seems too obvious to me. Clearly, if there's marijuana involved, murder and rape are sure to follow. Also, I enjoy a gin and tonic. Letterhead. Poppy seeds
Joan B. Posted 6 months ago
just enough to create fear and curiosity
Ashley C. Posted 6 months ago
Well done. Scary. I would have liked a little more story. However what was there was simple and straightforward. I'm curious about the rest of the film...
Jean Marc S. Posted 6 months ago
Makes me want to see the movie. I love the trailer and love the Speechless video too. Looking forward to seeing what else this team has to offer!

LITTLE GROSS
Chantie D. Posted 6 months ago
Very creepy! This scene was very well done. You did a good job on this mission, excited to see what else you do!
Kiefer v. Posted 6 months ago
Quite an interesting film concept, the camera work was very original and unique, I'm looking forward to seeing more! Good luck!
Joe M. Posted 6 months ago
Creepy.Like early Romero.
Anthony S. Posted 6 months ago
I like the close-ups; it makes it look dramatic. The music seems fitting too. The colours are consistent and effective. Seems like it was fun making this.
Dan R. Posted 6 months ago
Really liked the artsy shots to start with. The shot of her arm and hand was really creepy, good work guys
Melanie O. Posted 6 months ago
Liking the convept very much and the filming is good. The blood does not look real however and the music could have had a bit more punch...
Tom J. Posted 6 months ago
I really hope your film has something to say about violence and isn't just cashing in on exploitation tropes, especially coming from Vancouver where missing and murdered women is a very real and tragic event.
Taryn K. Posted 6 months ago
Loved how the scene played out really nice job felt the concept was well put together keep it up with this guys
Melissa L. Posted 7 months ago
Very well done! I think if you're looking for a straight up murdery story you're in the right direction.
jerry lee c. Posted 7 months ago
A bit too real. You need a strong stomach for this. No story line, weak script. I gues you guys are shooting for guts and gore here.
Tom H. Posted 7 months ago
Have you read the script? Or do you mean this video?
I must have missed the guts.
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
This video looked and was shot awesome! Great job guys, my only comment is that it didn't shed much light on the plot. Maybe you could have made it a little longer.
mandy b. Posted 7 months ago
the camerawork, make up and acting is really splendid, but it doesn't really take the story forward, does it? All we've found out is yet another murder. I would have liked to see some developments in the plot
Rysiek C. Posted 7 months ago
Good on the actress for staying still so long i can only imagine that must have been very difficult to do
Thomas P. Posted 7 months ago
Wow, very moody. I guess this girl must've been chased out there to die, I love the blood trail leading up to her.
Blake N. Posted 7 months ago
Nice use of the mission, Team Black Haze! You've really made good use of the no speech format. Good luck!

The actress didn't even blink or move! Some really good control over there. Good job!
Grayson L. Posted 7 months ago
I like the way the camera moves over all the splattered blood and slowly reveals the body. Disturbing, but really nice.

wow great job to Laura's acting! this is a great mission
Cheri-Lyn W. Posted 7 months ago
Doesn't take the story forward much but since it's a speechless mission i guess that is to be expected.
Michael J. Posted 7 months ago
I love the trail of blood out in the mountains. Very spooky and evocative of the isolation this poor girl probably lived in as well.
Blake M. Posted 7 months ago

Man, I was just waiting for that. Simple but effective.
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Excellent pacing on this sequence. I thought the closures on the girls eyes were well done and the lighting worked well for this scene.
Kristin S. Posted 7 months ago
Want to know what happened, where does this lead to? Suspense, suspense!!
Ian R. Posted 7 months ago
I thought this was amazingly done. Great set up with the shots of the trees but loved the one with moss and the bloody fern.
Tally K. Posted 7 months ago
There is so much blood on the side of hte mountain - poor girl must've been running for ages after being cut!
Sarah P. Posted 7 months ago
How did the killer chase the prostitute all the way out to the mountains? Maybe he drove her out there first!
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
This project is starting to intrigue me more and more. The sound here was great and i thought really fit well with the scene.

LAURA! LAURA! LAURA!
John K. Posted 7 months ago
nicely shot sequence... good choice of music.. very creepy and eerie... a couple shots of the corpse weren't quite believable but all in all, well done.
Chuck F. Posted 7 months ago
Love that moss ! Cool film work!
Krista B. Posted 7 months ago
Very creepy and artistic, which I'm sure is what you guys are going for. Loved the sound as well. Leaves me wanting to know more
Melanie K. Posted 7 months ago
This kind of reminds me of a camping trip I went on once where we found some blood. Fortunately for me....it was only a squirrel, and it was fine.
David M. Posted 7 months ago
I would never be capable of playing a corpse, I'm much too jittery. Maybe I should lay off the coffeejklsadfnlsd.
Leith P. Posted 7 months ago
Nice scenery shots, and good choice of music that helps build on the suspense, good job on the mission

Great visuals and sound design. You guys did a wonderful job. Also, amazing make-up & the actress was perfectly dead and she didn't even blink lol.
Rolinda R. Posted 7 months ago
Yes it is a mystery indeed but not unlike all the other mysteries out there, was kinda disappointed that there wasn't something a little different.
lisa m. Posted 7 months ago
Great sound. I'm interested to see where this one will go. Good lead, cinematography is beautiful, loved the color!
Sarah B. Posted 7 months ago
I think the tension is really well set up here. I agree with the comment made earlier though about the body looking too perfect. Without any cuts or bruises, there is nothing to draw the eye to a source for all that blood which makes it look less realistic to me.
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting work and idea. Definitely shows off your good cinematography and sound editing and makeup artist. I guess I just wish there was a little more character development.
Cathie S. Posted 7 months ago
Liked the music...suspense..all the sounds worked together. It's very clear something evil has happened!
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
I liked your shots, focus change, eyes, etc. But i don't find find the body realistic-more bruises scrapes needed, less brilliant red. I only say this because I found the real thing once in my first and last visit to Stanley Park
Marcel J. Posted 7 months ago
That was cool. Your film was cool. You know how to use sound in creative ways! Good work guys. Can't wait to see more.
Drew R. Posted 7 months ago
Pretty spooky in all. I liked the the depth the bells in the background gave, and of course the right to left fade of the menacing sound. I'd keep watching for sure...
Brad D. Posted 7 months ago
The trailer told me so little, I was really hoping your mission was going to bring something in terms of storytelling detail. Sadly disappointed. I get it.. There's a killer. There's blood. Show me something more! Who are these people? Why do I care? Specificity would be nice for the next one.
Roy H. Posted 7 months ago
I love the story telling, I love the compositions, but the camera work felt like it was a little off in its transitions scene to scene.
George A. Posted 7 months ago
What struck me most was the great use of lighting on this particular mission. Other than that, it was just OK
Amy Z. Posted 7 months ago
Absolutely love the footage you got, as well as the fake blood. Great job. Creepy, but beautiful.
Dana B. Posted 7 months ago
Nice blood makeup, but not really feeling the vibe your trying for. What's the point? Is there one?
Tia A. Posted 7 months ago
Great design and make up work on this! Doesn't quite feel like a scene in its own right, but sure does job for the mission! Nice job!
Dan M. Posted 7 months ago
Really great job. Love the feel of this video. re: Enigmas comment. I think this missions is all about style for styles sake. For the filmmakers to get a chance to focus on feel more than anything.
Enigma A. Posted 7 months ago
I'm not really getting the point of this. Is this telling us that we have a slasher film on hand. I think that was covered in the trailer. This is a style for style's sake kinda thing and doesn't really deepen the themes or the story
Nellemarie H. Posted 7 months ago
The viewer is first given a hint of a peaceful yet eerie forest, then with the blood we realize something is wrong. The visuals and music said it all, leaving us only with a question - what happened? Creepy, and revealing all at once.
Vanessa B. Posted 7 months ago
