Great potter but I am not sure how this is relevant to your movie. You are using a single camera angle and no additional story telling
Sarah A. Posted 5 months ago
Left me a bit confused....but well done!
Chloe V. Posted 5 months ago
I do not really have any idea why this has anything to do with your film. Definitely did not display anything.
Annabelle H. Posted 5 months ago
It's cool to watch this pot be made. But I have not been given any information about the movies story.
Lisa B. Posted 5 months ago
Not sure what you are going for in this piece. It was interesting to know how a pot is made. But I am still wondering about what your film is about :p
Perry M. Posted 6 months ago
very interesting to watch. Whenever there is confusion, fear, suspense and running away from something or being chased..then coming up to a house..well done!
Joan B. Posted 6 months ago
didn't find this bit of film overly informative..a little boring actually..not sure what you are going for?
Dawn E. Posted 6 months ago
I'm not sure how this fits into your film. It's not overly engaging for your audience. But nice pot!
Jessica C. Posted 6 months ago
It seems like an odd angle to film from, and I am only just a viewer. Perhaps it is to represent the odd angle of approaching life or something? And the pottery could represent our progression? May need to develop alot further in future.
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
cool
Dan R. Posted 6 months ago
I found this to be a bit weird of a submission, not my favourite so far, I think you guys could have done better.
Lydia M. Posted 7 months ago
this is quite strange. if you can't figure out how to get your bumpers to load its probably best to get an editor friend to cut it for you. super boring scene anyhow.
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Like others have said no idea how this connects to your film. The fact you struggled with just putting on the bumpers indicates you are not close to ready for this competition because you do not have a team that can handle the technical areas.
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
a little confused on this one. Any explanation would be helpful
Tony B. Posted 7 months ago
Wow that just kinda dragged on. I was hoping for at least a finished product by the end. Also why was it sideways?
jerry lee c. Posted 7 months ago
weakest that I have viewed so far. perhaps the script need some more work. Some new script writing software might help.
Merle P. Posted 7 months ago
I guess this has something to do with pottery?
Candice M. Posted 7 months ago
Well I can say it is speechless just wondering what you were trying to put forth for us to see. Good luck
penny T. Posted 7 months ago
Honestly, I didn't get the point of this one. Same basic scene throughout, found the angle of filming somewhat annoying and entire clip uneventful. Sorry, would have liked to have had more positive to say.
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
Not sure how this relates
Nina F. Posted 7 months ago
Nicely shot, but way too long of the same shot. It's missing something. What are you trying to achieve?
Amy S. Posted 7 months ago
Huh?
Donal O. Posted 7 months ago
Demi Moore? Scene call for Demi Moore. Ms Moore, we're ready for you.
Put Ashton down. You can play with your toys later.
Janelle S. Posted 7 months ago
I was so intrigued , though I agree it was a bit long just for that one shot I was curious who this was and the significance
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting scene... like others, I love pottery but it just kind of went on and on (and on)... doesn't really meet the spirit of the mission in my opinion.
Emersen Z. Posted 7 months ago
I love Pottery. Always fun watching a fellow thrower. I don't quite see the point of the severely canted angle. but fun to watch nonetheless
Super A. Posted 7 months ago
I have always wanted to take pottery class. I dont think you are telling a story here, or at least I am not getting it, also the choice of the angle is a little distracting but still good luck with the project!
Sam J. Posted 7 months ago
Not sure you really communicated anything here. I enjoyed the sound and watching it spin though. Just not in a movie way. Unless the movie is Ghost, of course.
Tyler M. Posted 7 months ago
I like the simplicity of this choice, our team transmission went in a bit different direction, but did also go for capturing a moment in time, please compare :)
Peter D. Posted 7 months ago
Another point for those who are curious, when on set,we often take 15 takes at a scene, some only do three takes to get it right,(the Chinese). In this case I have 90 seconds to tell you a brief glimpse of the story. In a Feature I have 44 scenes, in which I have a heck of a chance of telling a story..Thanks. Peter
Peter D. Posted 7 months ago
Well, the back story is about an artist's life.We were to show something moving without sound from the script. We choose this. If you think you can describe more in 90 seconds quietly, then your are smarter than most!.Peter
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
It's a great vase that you're making, but I don't understand how this relates to your movie. Wish I could see more character development or plot development.
Kevin O. Posted 7 months ago
Hi, did you folks upload the wrong clip? I was kind of hoping you would bring back the female 'Yoda' you depicted in your trailer.
Jeff B. Posted 7 months ago
I really don't think you got the point of the mission. I don't see what this has to do with your film.
Lisa M. Posted 7 months ago
Please reply and comment on how this video connects to the project. I have watched your teaser, read the synopsis and still don't see the connection. If you have a look at the great production value of many other projects, you will see what is needed for your audience. I hope this is helpful!
Steven H. Posted 7 months ago
Sorry guys but I really don't think you're ready for this competition, you've completely missed the point with this mission and I feel there is a lot of growing you need to do as filmmakers before you try something like this. Best of luck to you!
Dan M. Posted 7 months ago
Not to be mean but I think you really missed the point of this mission video. Really not sure what you were going for here.
Sharon H. Posted 7 months ago
So, someone is throwing a pot while occasionally looking at his watch... what does this signify? what is the film about? Other than those two questions I really don't want to know!
Tara S. Posted 7 months ago
Sounds like you had a frustrating experience with this one. Technical difficulties aside, am interested to learn more about this project.
