well, your team has stuck to the mission very well and delivered their content despite the limiitation. I quite like that. Good job!

I like the fade in and out of darkness
Kiki B. Posted 5 months ago
Nice scene team. Love the weird camera work it really suits the the themes. Keep up the great work, I'm sure you can get this made
Zoltan M. Posted 5 months ago
It has a lot to say about the night life. It gets pretty incredible, shallow and terrifying at the same time. An expressive piece and I think it deserves a lot of credit! The music is eerie and danceable at the same time (I know danceable is not a word) and the actors do a great job. You feel a lot from them even in the short time that you get to know them. The girl seems bored with her life and with her lover and things just seem to probably go downhill from here. I wish her all the best and the people involved with making this interesting film!
Steve R. Posted 5 months ago
Good stuff guys!
Robyn R. Posted 5 months ago
Well this was pretty intense to watch, and there were definitely some technical issues, but well done:)
Marly V. Posted 5 months ago
Seems like there was some technical issues.
Rob E. Posted 5 months ago
Nice little montage sequence. Great way to tell that story. Kind of terrifying when (spoiler alert) that body shows up.
Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
This trailer tells a bit of the story. It doesn't disclose too much, but it is clear there is something bad going on. But why isit going on? We'll just have to wait for more info.
Alex C. Posted 6 months ago
Neat scenes but yeah I have to agree that some context would have been nice around like time 0:40. Not sure what that was.
Bill A. Posted 6 months ago
Nice work on this mission, felt a bit like we don't understand context which is probably because it is out of context of the film.
Crystal V. Posted 6 months ago
I can tell the storey by the description line. Didnt feel the mission connected with what the story was but still intrigued to see where this goes!
Marion S. Posted 6 months ago
not much meat on the bone... more shots of the dead girl could have been useful. also the lighting seemed really hot on their faces for how far away the fworks were
Mike T. Posted 6 months ago
well done it was a good take on the mission and it did a good job on showing what kind of movie this will be
Frank L. Posted 6 months ago
Best take on the mission I've seen so far. Mission captured. Concept captured. Can't wait to see this on the big screen.
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
well, your team has stuck to the mission very well and delivered their content despite the limiitation. I quite like that. Good job! best of luck
Steph K. Posted 6 months ago
I really wanted to see this as I appreciated the trailer but it looks like there are technical issues. I will try again later
Zaid L. Posted 6 months ago
Couldn't really get a story out of this one, not really sure what was going on. I hope to see more from your team.
Loveval A. Posted 7 months ago
I really liked your trailer, but this mission seem to take away from it. Good luck would like see more from your team.
Megan P. Posted 7 months ago
Wow, this looks interesting, can't say that I can tell what is going to happen next though.. fireworks? wouldn't that just draw attention to them?
Emily H. Posted 7 months ago
i have to say i wasn't getting the story out of this either, left me wondering was she drugged drunk or was it a dream, but the use of fireworks was cool
Enzo V. Posted 7 months ago
I like this project overall, however, I can't definitely say this specific mission worked well. It just felt flat on this end.
Trish M. Posted 7 months ago
I had to watch twice to see if I missed something...I didn't. Was she drunk, drugged or just confused like me? This mission failed to draw me in or understand it at all...it actually led me away from the trailer concept altogether & left me in the dark.
Kari W. Posted 7 months ago
great job i love how the scene plays, really nice concept is brought forward and enjoyed how it was shot
Jennifer C. Posted 7 months ago
What happens next: The blonde falls to the ground and stops breathing. The dead girl is standing over her laughing while the dark haired guy tries to revive her.
Raine W. Posted 7 months ago
I like the way this is shot but didn't really follow what was happening. I was expecting one of them to get picked off.
Treena U. Posted 7 months ago
Sorry, i'm not sure I follow. I'm confused what the story is. But, this is only one piece of the puzzle. Good luck...
Hudson M. Posted 7 months ago
This didn't really do much for me, it doesn't tell us much about the story, and I'm more confused than I was before. Anyway, wishing you all the best.

I like the way the crackers have been used to light up the actors' faces. Interesting watch. Good luck for the missions ahead. :)
Ryder L. Posted 7 months ago
I agree. The girl should have been more disturbed than that. Besides, after that moment, when we see the clip of the girl with a cracker on the scene, she just looks nonchalant, completely zoned out.
Ben S. Posted 7 months ago
I think the girl in the blue scarf could have acted better. Her expressions do not do justice to the vision that she sees. Nice video, though.

Jenny M. Posted 7 months ago
I like to see a variety of scenes so I'm glad to see this.
Richard B. Posted 7 months ago
Kind of cheesy, didn't really portray the theme of "being hunted". Didn't really like the acting but the "thought" of being artistic is there.
patricia s. Posted 7 months ago
did not tell me much of the story, the crackers did a good job though,it lit up the actors faces, wish you luck
Naomi K. Posted 7 months ago
Stylish, and has a nice surreal feel complimented by the music, but the other posters have pinpointed the weakness - the appearance of the 'ghost' and reaction shot mar the scene, and make it too cheesy.
Avery L. Posted 7 months ago

Fireworks! That's pretty fun! I enjoyed the lighting and the way the girl was in and out of focus in the end.
David F. Posted 7 months ago
The flickering light in the darkness wasn't enough to push back the night. She tried to focus on the sparkler in her hand, hold on to her memories of him, but it was too little. She wanted to join him.

The scene is a bit confusing but the fireworks and the coloured lights reflecting on the characters faces looks really cool
Jana S. Posted 7 months ago
Looks interesting! The music made me feel suspenseful. I agree the girl could have looked a little more disturbed.
Cat K. Posted 7 months ago
Ahhh typical Canadian teenagers, drinking GHB-laced booze, tripping out with mild explosives. Nailed it. Girl's reaction to dead Girl- needs work.
David T. Posted 7 months ago
Honestly I have no idea whats happening in this video but I do love fireworks so i'm already pulled in
Tally K. Posted 7 months ago
The sound and music is great. I think the main girl thought the girl she saw was a trick of the light, or she's on drugs maybe?
Patrick M. Posted 7 months ago
love that creepy sound when the girl appears, it's kind of in the music but then it really makes your hair stand up with headphones I was spooked!

well shot. good acting. hot cast. make your movie regardless of whether you win. always a market for "a bunch of hot people" in a house/hotel/woods that get killed
Ralph G. Posted 7 months ago
nice lighting. cool knowing how u did it from your cheap tricks video earlier. and good casting, everyone's natural on camera.
Mikel T. Posted 7 months ago
very cool. love the look of it. Music really built well. fireworks worked great as a cutting tool. good luck.
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
I really like the lighting in this scene, as you explained in the cheap tricks video, it's really well done. The music seemed to fit well also.
Samantha B. Posted 7 months ago
A simple but effective scene. I think it was a good choice for this mission video. Good luck with the voting round!

I really enjoy the music...Seems to keep the viewer intrigued and gives a sense of something foreboding about to happen.
Kevin N. Posted 7 months ago
Not gonna lie, I have a crush on the blonde and it hurt to see her kissing that other guy. I hope he's the first to go :) JK...
Julia Richard M. Posted 7 months ago
like the effects of the fireworks is this before or after the friend is accidentally killed. or a vision of what is to be.
Lisa B. Posted 7 months ago
To me this didn't seem to go with the original story, I am wondering whether it is an early seen and the dead girl is some sort of premonition?
mike e. Posted 7 months ago
looks like someone spiked her drink...
Wendi N. Posted 7 months ago
Was confused by this. I like that you added the image of the dead girl (I think it was anyway) Would have made more sense if the caracters didn't look so happy.
Roman G. Posted 7 months ago
I'm not enterily sure if I understand this. It's a little like the trailer and this speechless clip are different movies.
Katelyn J. Posted 7 months ago
This left me a little confused. Could be interesting depending on character development. Good luck!
Rod M. Posted 7 months ago
Ouch. Looks like a wild party. And what comes next? I can't see where this is heading, so I look forward to the film.

Fan Mission 4: What happens next
Hiding behind a tree is a man with a gun stalking the blond girl. The girl can sense danger but can’t see it. She starts to run through the forest in a panic and gets closelined by a tree branch knocking her out cold.
Trevor S. Posted 7 months ago
I was confused by this. Was this an early scene in the film or later scene? It was strange that the bloody girl arrived and the party kept on going.
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
this left me confused
Glenn R. Posted 7 months ago
not sure how this all ties together but looks a little morbid to me . what does it have to do with hunting season ???
Dawn B. Posted 7 months ago
Nice fireworks effects...and good pull on the unexpected attraction with the dead girl, but a little detached and absurd.
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
Great visuals and music but this sequence has no narrative structure. I'm assuming this will make sense as part of a larger narrative. It gives clues about some of the characters but overall its a confusing montage of amazing visuals with great soundtrack.
Rebecca B. Posted 7 months ago
I like this because it shows how they got into all this mess. Kind of a calm before the storm. Nice job!
Beverley R. Posted 7 months ago
I didn't really see what this had to do with the title Hunting Season.......it doesn't really show what the movie is about.
Lindsey M. Posted 7 months ago
Really cool use of lighting with this music, the greens & golds coming in, the sparklers... you've created a great sequence here.
Nikola R. Posted 7 months ago
Good job great acting great makeup love the fireworks by the way. although it was a little short still really good.
David F. Posted 7 months ago
Very colourful with the fireworks -- good use of sound and emotion. Hoping that you keep up the good work.
Jenna R. Posted 7 months ago
Are a bunch of kids on e? Then Blondie's bf slips her a little something extra, This night is not going to end well for someone
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Looked great. Nice use of music and visuals. Very taught - I think this movie could be quite scary. Looking forward to more
Emily B. Posted 7 months ago
This film looks like it could be a great thriller and this speechless scene shows just how scary things could get!
Karyn T. Posted 7 months ago
have to say that i really didn't have a clue what was going on here but it looked like it could be a very interesting thriller
Ilana D. Posted 7 months ago
I liked the fireworks and the whole carefree feeling at the start. I also would agree with others here that the bloody eyed girl should have been at the end.
Amanda B. Posted 7 months ago
I think this is fantastic. Hunting Season is spookier than I thought. I don't know what some people are complaining about.
Brad K. Posted 7 months ago
good use of light and transitions, sets the mood of trying to let go and then shocked back at the point of no return, basic start to any bad trip! love to see more.
Heather G. Posted 7 months ago
The fireworks really set the seen of having a good time then that image appears, so scary! It makes me want to know what comes next!
Kyle L. Posted 7 months ago
This must have been fun to shoot. Fireworks always equal party but this party turns spooky. Waiting to see what comes next
Nicole H. Posted 7 months ago
I did not really understand what this was about? The fireworks and faces turning colors was neat but could have made it way more interesting.
aaron b. Posted 7 months ago
I have to agree with some of the other comments. I liked the fireworks but I did not learn anything about the movie.
Nole N. Posted 7 months ago
Fireworks are great but I don't think you did all you could with this clip, I don't really see the plot if the movie in it
Natalie B. Posted 7 months ago
I like it in this sequence. With the image of the sparkler at the end it sort of gives you hope. Like, maybe it will be alright. Or will it?
Amy Z. Posted 7 months ago
So great. Still one of my favourite projects in this competition. A little cheesy, but still a mission well done.
Emersen Z. Posted 7 months ago
This is a great scene and seems to hint at the struggle the 'girl' seems to be going through. Great work!
Paula D. Posted 7 months ago
Having found this by a random search I haven't watched the trailer. I tried to get the gist of it from the speechless clip but couldn't. I won't leave a negative comment as that' unfair if I haven't seen the hard work you've put into the rest.
Steven H. Posted 7 months ago
I feel that this scene didn't seem like the best choice in terms of a speechless narrative to show off your film. Your trailer was awesome and looked like it would have some fantastic gripping scenes, but this just seemed like an odd choice and didn't do a whole lot for me. Also a couple shots where the characters were illuminated by your "fireworks" but there were trees in the background that obviously weren't, which kinda ruined the illusion you were going for. And I too agree that the shot with the girl seemed out of place and should've been at the end rather than in the middle. BIt of a missed opportunity in my opinion, but you guys are still one of my favorites!
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
Wish it gave more insight into your film and didn't feel like the sound design was that tailored to what was happening. Visually I love the fireworks as a set piece though.
Scott M. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting... but I have to agree with the others who thought it would have been better with the vision of the girl at the end.
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
I agree with Joanne - definitely think the girl should have been at the end. Your character development is good in this scene with carefree to anxiety in 30 seconds. I liked how you incorporated the firework sounds into the soundtrack.
Joanne M. Posted 7 months ago
I think the girl with the bloody eyes could have been at the end and then that would have left us wanting to figure out what was going on
Ayla L. Posted 7 months ago
Definitely interesting, it makes me want to know more lol I'm going to go watch the actual trailer right now :P
Scott S. Posted 7 months ago
Did a great job cinematically but would have like more explanation to the scene and created more of a link to the film topic
Liam C. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting.
Sam L. Posted 7 months ago
I would have liked to have seen more about the movie. It also felt a little short. But the fireworks were pretty cool!
Sharon H. Posted 7 months ago
This doesn't really give the viewer any idea of what the film is about. yes, there are fireworks, sparklers, making out & a young woman with bleeding eyes. Doesn't say alot.
