Ever since I saw the trailer, this movie has given me the creeps. This mission was no exception. Good work!

A little mind boggling, a little Twilight Zone feeling.

Very spooky and scary!! The blood looked real! You had me on the edge of my seat for most of this video.
Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
It is a scary trailer. Simple but effective, silent and chilling. Is she dreaming it? But she still has the scars. Great playing with emotions.

Can you say psycho and sexy?? This is so intense and engrossing a great way to heighten the suspense of the rest of the film. Love the dark undertones

THis is so creepy and frightening it keeps you totally engaged. The music choice is perfect, the location, actors and sequences bang on. You have caught my eye and will keep it, you have my vote!

I like the way you have tackled the challenge, and I think the laughter and the sobs make the speechlessness even more dramatic. Really liked the beginning, but somehow, the ending wasn't as explosive. Good luck though!
Kevin C. Posted 6 months ago
Very creepy. Good build-up as it goes along and the guy is pretty chilling. The wake-up jolt with the bloody wrists makes for a nice wtf moment.
Ricardo L. Posted 6 months ago
to quote Mikey G ....The creep factor never lets up with VAN GORE. Dying to see this movie. Well done, gang. Keep up the awesome work!!

Your Van Clark Is eccentric yet crazy!, you want to know him but want to kill him! Way to put all his sides out there. This is really good. Love the scene, music and actors. You should win this
Lukee W. Posted 6 months ago
The clear winner. Everything was perfect. Amazing music, cinematography, character depth, emotional intensity, the story is building and it was speechless! Excellent work! So much talent in this group, especially for such a young team,,,way to go and keep going

Maybe if the laugh could be heard a little more over the soundtrack, it would have been more effective. I can understand the point of a soft, menacing laughter; but like the person above, it didn't send the chills down my spine.
Rebecca P. Posted 6 months ago
I really like the music, but somehow the sound effects didn't work for me. Particularly the laugh - I would have expected it to be a little more chilling. Rest, good stuff.

Michel C you said it. This is a diamond in the ruff. This kind of film is just not out there anymore. Let us try something new and not remakes like many of the others k. Excellent writing, editing, etc. I really love this. Get this out there

Terrifying situation. Some people in this world need help. Found it weird she was ok at the end but was obviously tied up.

Andy Warhol move on over - Van Gore is coming to a Art Studio Theater near you - added to my watch list - thank you
Jacki R. Posted 7 months ago
This started out dramatically, and drew me in. I liked the intensity, the suspense, the emptiness and isolation, and the sound effects, especially the sobbing, and the laugh. When the scene switched from what was eluded to as being a dream to a waking state, I felt a bit let down, even when I saw the blood on her wrists. The scene just didn't have the intensity I think it could have. I wasn't as interested as I had been in the beginning. I would like to have seen more evidence of what we didn't see. Good work Van Gore. Keep it up!
David A. Posted 7 months ago
This could have been so awesome if it embraced the 'shlock' a bit more. Part of the charm of the trailer was that it didn't take itself so seriously. Not to say this was bad at all, but I though it could have been way funnier. I feel you guys know that.
Jordan D. Posted 7 months ago
I wish you would've stuck with the style of the trailer - the story seems much less entertaining in this scene. Regardless I'm still a fan of the project!
Anthony N. Posted 7 months ago
Not bad, I like how you think it's a dream until you see her hands are all bloody. Cool wipe with the blanket.
Hudson M. Posted 7 months ago

Interesting. I liked how the story turned out - with a twist to what initially felt like a dream sequence. That being said, don't you think dream versus reality sequences have been done several times over already? Still, really good work guys, best of luck.
Matt C. Posted 7 months ago
Agree with other comments but mostly I really like the use of the huge window here. It's a nice framing piece.
Grim D. Posted 7 months ago
Woah - twist upon twist in the end! You guys sure surprised me over there. Good going and good luck to your team!

I disagree with evelyn, the eye makeup is messed up, totally. The music and sequence are exceptional, the location is superb - you made the best choice here. The feeling is the room is tense, suspenseful and terrifying. I want this to be a feature, You are different from all the others. I WILL BE THE FIRST IN LINE!!!

Love Grindhouse - I can really feel it, the tension buildup, the unexpected outcome, so creepy and terrifying. Van Gore excites and scares the hell outta me!!!
Donal O. Posted 7 months ago
Very well acted. She really carried the fear well. The music works. No need to overwhelm the audience. The visuals pretty much do that.
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
i really liked the music at the very end when she see's the blood on her. that part was the most effective for me.
Paul J. Posted 7 months ago
I think you could have done a better job on the blood/smeared eye makeup. Doesn't look realistic. Other than that cool video.

That girl is fantastic. Total girl crush over here. I hope you win so I can see more from this team. Woo!

Van Gore walking aroung with the hammer just builds more and more suspense and fear. I would be terrified of where and when he was gonna hit me with it!!! I love the storyline and the music, The location is perfect for this as well. Grindhouse is few and fat between, especially being done this well - a talented group!!
Michael L. Posted 7 months ago
Go Grindhouse! You guys have a real touch for this stuff... its amazing really. Whether or not you win the million I hope you make this movie -- in a way the lower your budget is the more grindhouse it'll really feel... I hope you guys make this happen no matter what. With the talent you've displayed thus far, with your past success and your success on cinecoup; nothings going to stand in your way. Keep up the great work and thank you for the constant reminder why horror is a @#%$@# awesome genre. #joy -- [Mr. Tom]

Intriguing, I will have to go back and view the trailer I like the creepy gore factor this is my favorite genre
david p. Posted 7 months ago
Great job on this mission was done very well you managed to capture the concept very well keep up the great work
Cheryl M. Posted 7 months ago
This movie looks so creepy it makes my skin crawl... good job! Nice twist on the horror genre. Good luck!
Jason M. Posted 7 months ago
Well done, I enjoyed the slow build of tension and the way you kept the focus off of Van Gore and on the woman instead really enhanced the scene.
Simon T. Posted 7 months ago
When the guy walked in I thought it was Kevin Spacey. Same mouth. That lady is a fantastic actor. Definitely stole the scene from Van Gore.
Trevor G. Posted 7 months ago
Just as i was beginning to lose patience and scream "JUST KILL HER ALREADY!!" it was all a dream! But how did the blood get there? intrigued!
Steve A. Posted 7 months ago
I do enjoy a good jazz killer, literally. Was it effective? The scene could have been a little more intense, the music could have spiralled more, overall - decent job.
Jason T. Posted 7 months ago
I dig that this is not just going in the faux-grindhouse feel of the original trailer but instead uses inspired music, pleasing shot composition and a cliffhanger. My curiousity is piqued.
Michael B. Posted 7 months ago
Great mission! This certainly creeped me out. Excellent choice in music and good acting. For some reason I'm now emotionally attached to Sally. Good job fellas.
Cathy F. Posted 7 months ago
The music makes this so creepy. I love the use of light and it is edited very well. Actors are great a d love the concept
Melissa C. Posted 7 months ago
Good job with the mission. You conveyed the right amount of terror in you victim without speech. Good luck
Amy F. Posted 7 months ago
definitely looks interesting. I would have liked to see a little more here but i still think there is a lot of potential for this movie.
Michael S. Posted 7 months ago
I really like the use of the minimalist music. This feels very Lynchian in the best possible way. I'm curious about where this is going.
Ashley T. Posted 7 months ago
i dont really like the actors. I like the concept though. I would like to see more so i am not taking the vid out of context

not bad. i would like to see more with it. i agree with what people say about the music. needs something more
Mack t. Posted 7 months ago

Ashley T. Posted 7 months ago
I get what you are trying to go for. It's interesting. I'm not sure what it is...something just isn't hitting
Heather T. Posted 7 months ago
i didnt really like the music change. it kind of takes me out of the mood of the seen. it is suppose to be intense.
Maryla N. Posted 7 months ago
I really liked the whole dream sequence of the mission that was definitely an interesting twist. Actress could've been a bit more believable though
Georgia M. Posted 7 months ago
Uh oh. What will she find when she gets up? I'm waiting for the horrible discovery of the source of the blood, because you know it's gott be good. Only problem with your killer though - he should be missing his ear if he's basing his killings on Van Gogh.
Akshay S. Posted 7 months ago

interesting. I was going to comment that I'm not a huge fan of dream sequences - but I loved how you tied in that this wasn't a dream - definitely made me want to see more of a movie that I wasn't initially a fan of.
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
Love how the sequence starts! And love the music once she wakes up from the dream. Though I think the cut at the dream/awake moment can be edited in a more dramatic way. Good job guys!
Paul H. Posted 7 months ago
I love that while he is very much a serial killer, he still embodies a classy approach to his lifestyle. He blends in well and I am very excited to see how he spends his time in a feature length version!

Jason G. Posted 7 months ago
Agree with Kris B. whips off the covers to no legs and a IV drip :D Or lower half mailed to a canvas...Oh this is some gross and wonderful stuff folks!
Kris B. Posted 7 months ago
This is a good Speechless video. I didn't want it to be a dream (...or was it?) but great set up for what comes next. Maybe she whips off the blanket and sees that her whole couch is covered with YUCKY YUCK and we cut to her in a line at the dry cleaners.
Bobbie-Gene H. Posted 7 months ago
I love the jazz tunes as opposed to some bum ba bum scary music. And his laugh is scary enough on it's own!
Rick H. Posted 7 months ago
I agre with Amy!!! Absolutely terrifying. So well done. Your work is always such a great mixture of uncomfortable fear, and gore. Great work!
John W. Posted 7 months ago
If someone was to kill me I would want it to be Van Gore!!! He does it with style and class lol. Great work guys I really like what you are doing here and the concept is clear and bold, keep it up
Hilda H. Posted 7 months ago
It does not get any better then this. You guys have really captured fear here AND the shots, music and and enchanting shade of red, just love this, make the full feature already. Can't wait to see what Van Gore is gonna do and where he will go!
Keith F. Posted 7 months ago
I love the location space for this! It looks outstanding and is perfect for this kind of film. King of out of the way where Van Gore can do his "deed". Great music and acting as well, very well written!!
Patricia F. Posted 7 months ago
I LOVE grindhouse and gore. This one looks unique and makes you want to see more, I disagree with the comment below on the acting. I think the lead actor is a perfect choice and totally creepy in this role. Great job!!
Lisa R. Posted 7 months ago
His laugh and smirk on his face made me shiver goose bumps but not in a good way. what a dream to have but was it a "dream"

I'm always a fan of an enchanting shade of red ;) Love the location you guys shot in! Good luck and love from the team of Long Distance!
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
Could've been a much more compelling scene if the acting was a little better. The actress wasn't real enough in her fear.
Shannon M. Posted 7 months ago
Creepy, though technically speechless I'm not sure if the sounds take away from the general tone of the score
Olivia H. Posted 7 months ago
OMG. This scares the you know what outta me. Van Gore is so creepy that he is terrifying. The shots are really good, love the score when Van Gore walks in...great job guys
Tammy B. Posted 7 months ago
Terrifying!
Dawn F. Posted 7 months ago
This is outstanding. The music grabs ur attention, the camera angles and shots are perfect. Garfield, the actor is an awesome choice for this film and he brings the character to life. I don't think any other actor could do the role justice. Sally is also a great choice and plays the terrified female to a T. This would be so great to see on a big screen. Excellent concept. I love it
