I watch The Mentalist, The Listener, and Castle. All have the same format - a "Who done it? crime solving mystery. A female detective joins up with a male counterpart (the journalist?) to solve the crime. Chemistry between the 2 is a must. M&M is on the right track. With the million you get, you'll find a great leading lady detective. Good luck tonight

A good sizzle reel. It shows a respect for the fans, in a competition where it was the talent of the creative teams that made a difference. Good luck on the next round of eliminations. You're at the top and deserve to be here.

The actors in The Mill and the Mountain are really good.
Joe M. Posted 5 months ago
This trailer is terrific. Mystery. Mystery. Mystery:)
Diane N. Posted 5 months ago
The name M&M works if you plan to incorporate both in the story. A feud between workers in the mill who rely upon the work to feed their families... and environmentalists or nature lovers. This is an on-going Canadian struggle. Setting: a quiet sleepy town with gorgeous views of Mt. Pope as a back drop - contrasted with the grisly murder. Maybe the amnesiac got fired from the mill (or maybe he was an environmentalist) and took out his anger on the girl: crime of opportunity. If so, pictures of Mt. Pope and area should have been hi-lited in the trailer, or redux, somewhere. Good for the next mission. I think this would generate more interest in the film without giving away too much information.

There was one handsome guy in your sizzle reel. Damn you guys know how to make it hot!
Diane N. Posted 6 months ago
That was a reely sizzling video. I recommend everyone watch it now. Fingers crossed until the Big Reveal May 13. Can't wait.
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
The original trailer was good and this is so much the same, with small edits. It gets the theme across and shows some great scenery. But what is the connection between the mill and the women? Are they stealing trees? Just kidding - I'll wait to see the other reel with sizzle.
Diane N. Posted 6 months ago
CONGRATULATIONS getting into top 15. The title under redux and trailer says: The Mill and the There's no room for the whole title. How about "Mill and Mountain" which I noticed people are shortening it to anyway.
Steve A. Posted 6 months ago
We're working on a name change at the moment. We recognize that it is too long and needs something with a little more bang. Thanks Dianne!
Diane N. Posted 5 months ago
I really like Mill and Mountain as official name - then let us know the significance of each symbol.
Nathan W. Posted 6 months ago
Excited to see this come to fruition. Best of Luck Team

Interesting
Michelle G. Posted 6 months ago
great trailer - equally as good as the first - great cinematography, great acting, and good plot reveal
Alan N. Posted 6 months ago
Nice work on the redux. Ready for the short list.
Diane N. Posted 6 months ago
Is this Trailer Redux the version to enter the final rounds of competition?
Diane N. Posted 6 months ago
The beginning is tidier. The scenes from Speechless adds a lot. Kept the scenery, oh yah uniquely Canadian. Overall Trailer Redux is a hit. Good work guys. I love it.
Dominic R. Posted 6 months ago
I prefer the longer version. Great work though with the new scenes.

Steve A. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Corey!
Natalia N. Posted 6 months ago
Hmm I can't choose which trailer I like more therefore great job on both:) I wish you guys the best in moving forward to the Top15.
Steve A. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Natalia.
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
Beautiful scenery and a story that has much drama in it. The music is subtle, and the trailer seems to capture the interest in knowing more. I think this is a good project.
Steve A. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks for your feedback Don.
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
OOHHHHH!!!! DIG it. Like the suspense build up.
Steve A. Posted 6 months ago
OHHHHHH we dig it too :)
Leanne B. Posted 6 months ago
Love this story and the trailer. Was hoping to see some more footage from this team though!
Colin T. Posted 6 months ago
pretty awesome, builds the suspense for me, i want you guys in the top 15
Brock S. Posted 6 months ago
You guys have a solid foundation and should make it into the top 15
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
Ok guys...impress me. hmm...
The movie is great and so is the plot. But between the two trailers I prefer the first. There isn't much new.
Not sure how I feel right now. A little disappointed but that doesnt take away from how great the overall project is.
Sean H. Posted 6 months ago
Hey, Donal! There was a sizzle reel component that accompanied the redux trailer. We were happy with our original trailer so we focused on the sizzle reel instead and removed/added elements from our original trailer as per fan feedback. Blarg!
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
Oh that makes more sense. Thanks Sean!
Sean H. Posted 6 months ago
Ugh! On the happier side of things, you're in our sizzle reel! So it'll be worth the wait.
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
HAh Really? That's hilarious. I'm interested to see that.
Tyler S. Posted 6 months ago
I pie you too...I guess? Again wonderful cinematography! The really big problem I have with this trailer is it’s a shot for shot remake of your previous trailer. I have both of them going at the same time and there is little in terms of differences. To me this isn't a redux instead a shorter version of your original trailer.
Sean H. Posted 6 months ago
Hey! Thanks for the feedback, Tyler. There was a sizzle reel portion of this mission that didn't launch today (which is why our mission header doesn't make sense). We were confident in our trailer and poured all our time into producing sizzle reel. Stay tuned!

Strong pacing and the tension builds really effectively. Nice work. (Life of a Locksmith)
