I wanna encourage you guys to continue working on M&M, so you're even more ready when the next big opportunity arrises. I can envision some intense U.S.-Canada border footage - by super cinematographer Sean C. Hope he reads this compliment.

I had suggestions ready for Banff:
.... Showcase your 4 main actors. Shoot an interview by a Catty Chats type female. Ex. "I'm Jake... do I ever solve this crime? Find out, vote for M&M". Interview the 4 characters. AND, show lots of photos of them.
... Go north and shoot lots of film of Mt. Pope, saw mills, and a Pow Wow.
... Treat advertising like a political campaign. Get out the vote through social networking. Sean C. goes to his/a film school, have a prof include M&M as a student project 'how to become a great cinematographer'.
... less about the team, and more about the story, the actors, the setting, and the title.

frustratingly close. Hard to beat Uprising with all of Edmonton behind them. Hard to beat Grade Nine, with all the Grade 9ers across the country behind them. I do hope that M&M gets made someday.
