You guys have proven yourselves to be talented, resourceful and current. PLUS you have the ability to create an emotional response to draw a viewer in and forget their own world. That is what a movie is supposed to do. That is pure entertainment and you guys do it! This is the WINNER!
Martin V. Posted 5 months ago
Fabulous. Amazing what you can accomplish with so little budget. The passion you guys have for this just shows! Awesome job guys.
Carol H. Posted 5 months ago
Great Trailer Redux and Sizzle Reel videos. You are a very talented team doing a great job.. I can't wait to see more! We'll see you in the final 5 for sure!
MemeModel K. Posted 5 months ago
sending positive vibes to you :)

Good Sizzle Reel Video - Uprising. Question: Have you asked for volunteers to help "fill in" for your movie? Good luck and I'm sure we'll see you in the top 5 - Go Edmonton Go!
Akash S. Posted 5 months ago
Hi Bari! We haven't asked anyone to volunteer as of yet, perhaps closer to production we will! Currently all the acting talent in our videos are volunteers
jane D. Posted 5 months ago
best of luck

An interesting recap. there is much talent on this team and I think they will contribute to the Canadian film industry. I am still wondering about the copy of the "Arrow" costumes and bow - but it does fit the project and make it interesting. Rebels in N.A. may not have the budget of rebels in Europe. Great project!
Lee H. Posted 5 months ago
I agree with everything you said but the Arrow thing. You have to realize that both projects are going for the robin hood look which is why they look similar. Using the word "copy" is a bit harsh...also let's be honest, that tv show bites. This looks way better, and is paying a great homage to the robin hood legend
Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
I agree that Arrow lost it after the first episode or so. More of a kung fu series for kids and perhaps homage would be a better way to describe the Robin Hood costumes. I've tried to think of an alternative, without success. The timing was probably to blame, and my friends in the industry like the project a lot. I like most of what I've seen, and the graphics and production is a credit to the team.
Alexandra S. Posted 5 months ago
You guys have what it takes – everything that you put together is golden! If this is what you can do with $250, I want to see what your team can do with a million!
Parker W. Posted 5 months ago
Well done! i give it 4and a half out of 5 stars
Leanne B. Posted 5 months ago
Why not 5?
Donal O. Posted 5 months ago
The only thing cooler than one Edmonton team in the top 15 is two edmonton teams in the Top 15. Now, make the deal and get optioned. Top 10!
Natalia N. Posted 5 months ago
I love your sizzle reel! Music really pumps me up. Great editing it all together
Michelle G. Posted 5 months ago
like the sizzle reel - I'm a little surprised that your rating is going down - you guys are a great team and I'd really like to see you in the top10. Perhaps you should get more press and promo stuff going.
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
A few changes from the original trailer. It tells more of the story. It shows that there is talent in Edmonton that can produce something equal to Vancouver or Toronto. Keep it up and we hope top see this project in the final vote.
Sheri H. Posted 6 months ago
Excellent feel to the cold-colour images. Great use of lighting. Poignant close ups of emotional faces. Intriguing clips from the movie that make you feel you need to see more. Love the cgi sci fi city in the distance. Love the heavy use of black and white, colour drained images to portray the futuristic, apocalyptic feel to the movie... they visually portray the feeling of hopelessness portrayed by the characters' dialogue snippets. I like the way the images come fast and furiously toward the end of the trailer, increasing the suspense at the precise moment when we realize, as viewers, that the characters are moving beyond helplessness and taking action. Awesome!!!!!
Mark V. Posted 6 months ago
I love this trailer so much I've watched it every day since the mission was released. The voice acting (especially the man) was superb and fitting. And oh wow that musical score is amazing especially closer to the end when it is really suspenseful, it stands out and as I listen I'm thinking that sounds awesome. I also read down somewhere in the comments that Timothy had to do all this in of night because of a tight schedule. That is true talent.
Rita M. Posted 6 months ago
Wonderful!
Ellen F. Posted 6 months ago
Good
Alex C. Posted 6 months ago
Awesome job you guys! Big improvement all around.
Cathy R. Posted 6 months ago
A team of only 3, all under 19 years, on a budget of $250 brandishing an intriguing story, talent, and passion. Wow!
Martin V. Posted 6 months ago

Michelle G. Posted 6 months ago
great job - loved the new footage - I didn't think it was possible for you to improve on the original, but you did.
Timothy C. Posted 6 months ago
Pleased to see that our development shines through! :)
Melissa H. Posted 6 months ago
I am definitely intrigued! This trailer was really well done. I felt like I could be watching it on the big screen at a movie theatre as a preview!
Akash S. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you that means so much!
Cat R. Posted 6 months ago
So pumped to see this film! -- I have so many unanswered questions around the story and the characters. You have left viewers THIRSTY -- and THAT, IMO is the main purpose of a trailer. As well, you have listened to viewers feedback and have adapted by going above and beyond without losing your direction. I am rooting for Uprising all the way!
Kaylee R. Posted 6 months ago
so amazing!! as always!
Dallas M. Posted 6 months ago
Good job
Bert T. Posted 6 months ago
Great re-make
Natalia N. Posted 6 months ago
You've made a fan in me. I like this trailer loads better then your original. You guys seem to know what you're doing, keep it up! Also love this weeks banner:)
Akash S. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks so much :)
Brenda M. Posted 6 months ago
well done
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
Excellent! The tension builds with the music and it really comes to a big finale. This may be the best mission from this team, but I still am disappointed that it seems so much like ARROW.
Akash S. Posted 6 months ago
Hi Don! As you can see later on in the trailer, we implemented kerchief for the characters, a costume modification I think will help dissolve those similarities. Unfortunately we didn't have time to re-shoot our whole trailer so some of those similarities still exist.
I've watched only a few episodes of that show after hearing so many comments pertaining to similarities. The story lines are incredibly different, in fact complete opposites with their main character being a playboy billionaire, and ours being incredibly poor. We based our costumes off Robin Hood, and I believe that shows. The DC comic character's look that you mentioned is originally based off robin hood too, so that's why there might some similarities.
Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
I understand. Robin Hood is a theme used so many times. And the costumes in Uprising should reflect a cover for the identity. And Arrow is more like a Batman show. I lost interest in Arrow after 1.5 episodes. I do agree that Uprising has greater potential than Arrow (which had greater money behind it.)
Lee H. Posted 6 months ago
That show is actually so mediocre. The lack of character depth, cheap action, and boring 90210 drama makes it just so unappealing. I realize their costumes may look similar, but the green arrow is supposed to be GREEN. They clearly have stated many times, and even a cool shout out in this trailer, that they are based off of Robin Hood. Personally, I can totally see it! Uprising>Arrow. 'Nuff said.
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
I saw only the first line of your comment on the homepage and though "DONT TALK ABOUT UPRISING LIKE THAT!!" Thank god I got that wrong :-)
Kiefer v. Posted 6 months ago
You don't know me, but this redux trailer is amazing, great work fellas!
June B. Posted 6 months ago
Timothy scored this redux the day before the upload?! He is worth his weight in gold. Love the editing, once again and appreciate a glimpse of a new character. Good job guys!
Timothy C. Posted 6 months ago
You have no idea how much I appreciate this!! :) Thanks so much, glad you like it!!
Janine F. Posted 6 months ago
Nice! Wonderful buildup of tension.
Emmy Kathryn D. Posted 6 months ago
Things just keep getting better and better. Honestly you have to make this in to a full movie so i can watch it and love it and cry about it.
Laurel L. Posted 6 months ago
Love it! Gave me the chills. Another job well done!!
Joe M. Posted 6 months ago
Wonderful job gentlemen.
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
Oh you guys! I'm even MORE of a fan after seeing the new trailer. You've really brought more heart into the story and showed what you're all about. Love that you introduced the female character, I was hoping you would after her mention in the previous missions. Simply impressive.
Akash S. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Lindsey :)
John K. Posted 6 months ago
great work... you guys continue to impress
Jonathan F. Posted 6 months ago
While the other trailer and missions amazed me, this one, more than any of the others, makes me want to see this movie. Great work.
Colin T. Posted 6 months ago

Leanne B. Posted 6 months ago
Excellent work. Loved the first trailer and I love the second trailer. You guys can do no wrong when you have this level of talent. Can't wait to see this movie in theatres!!!
Brock S. Posted 6 months ago
You guys do great work
Tyler M. Posted 6 months ago
I like it, your story structure for this one is more appealing, some subtle audio filtering might have added something, we chose to do some strong audio filtering, check it out and give us some feedback (transmission)
Grayson W. Posted 6 months ago
Btw, the girl who ties her hair in a ponytail is a fox. She has "badass female character" written all over her. Just sayin!
Jeremy J. Posted 6 months ago
This just makes me want to see it more!
Tim R. Posted 6 months ago
Even better than the first trailer! The new characters add a lot of possibilities, and the music was excellent!
Akash S. Posted 6 months ago
Our composer Tim Choy did that in one night :)
Cat R. Posted 6 months ago
One night?!? Oh my, that's extreme talent. Really and truly. And at age 18 only. Seriously, the music is absolutely PERFECT -- fitting without being distracting, building in intensity as warranted, and simply moving! Canada, here comes Timothy Choy!
Timothy C. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks a bunch Cat, that means a lot!! :) Trying to find time during exams to focus on Uprising, and can't say I got much (or any) sleep Saturday night but it was well worth it to score this!!
Ron K. Posted 6 months ago
Awesome job guys. Nice to see the cast rounding out; better audience pull. Deeper character dev. lov'in it. good luck!
Akash S. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you sir!
Rachael E. Posted 6 months ago
SO good. Even better than the first. THIS BETTER MAKE THE TOP 15.
Parker W. Posted 6 months ago
LOVED IT! So good, so good, so good. It's so weird that you guys are 18 and made this beauty, and that it's Canadian. I am tired of hockey movies!
I like your old trailer, but I think the film has improved greatly and it comes across well in this new trailer! WIN THIS PLEASE!
Danny L. Posted 6 months ago
I am not saying this was bad I just liked the first one more I am sure you are in for the long haul
Timothy C. Posted 6 months ago
Glad to have your feedback! Our first trailer definitely had some really cool moments, and we all liked it as well!

David U. Posted 6 months ago

Cat R. Posted 6 months ago
Goosebumps the whole time! You guys do not disappoint! Very intense, very intriguing, yet revealing enough to make me want to see the full length movie. Excellente!
Christopher F. Posted 6 months ago
Looks great! I like it alot more than the original!
Daniel F. Posted 6 months ago
That was incredible! I love how much more in depth it takes us into the characters and their stories. Really awesome job.
Lee H. Posted 6 months ago
You are the best!!! Love how you took feedback, both positive and negative, and incorporated it in here. You hit this one outta the park. Amazing work guys
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
Excellent work. And was that a Gillians Just Right homage in there ;-) ?
The narration and music draw the viewers in and frames the movie in a way that one wants to see but still doesn't know how it will go. Very well done.
Joslyn P. Posted 6 months ago
I concur :)
Matthew S. Posted 6 months ago
Holy **** this just makes me want to watch the full movie even more...
Mark V. Posted 6 months ago
This is a massive improvement from the last trailer. This time around it is way more suspenseful and emotionally grasping. You guys took the feedback from your concept trailer and perfected it!
Grayson W. Posted 6 months ago
AMAZING!!! Loved your first trailer, this one is even better! I think your project has evolved greatly and it shows in this! Can't believe how young you are and how much butt you guys kick. Win this for Canada boys, we need a damn good movie out there
Joslyn P. Posted 6 months ago
Wow!! This is awesome you guys. Nice work! Really cool additions. Good luck :)
Jordan S. Posted 6 months ago
Nothing to say but...amazing. You guys really utilized the constructive criticism given on the last trailer to make vast improvements on this one. It gives the viewers a much deeper insight into the plot of Uprising and it was nice to see a girl in this one. Version one was kind of a sausage fest....
Awesome job once again, keep it up guys.
Sam L. Posted 6 months ago
