I would definitely read the Red Horizon book. Perhaps it would be a New york times best seller?

Funny! ;)
Michelle G. Posted 5 months ago
I have to ask - are these Andrea's parents in the video? They are awesome!
Frances L. Posted 5 months ago
Michelle, yes these are Andrea's parents. New rising stars. :)
Michelle G. Posted 5 months ago
I guess it shouldn't surprise me given how talented Andrea is - an acting career for Haythem seems rather likely given the talent of his family ;)

As a failsafe measure, when the last log entry is 36 hours old an emergency beacon and the mission log is broadcast back to earth.
As scandal erupts as people realise that the "Rome" tragedy was caused by corruption and graft resulting in a substandard spacecraft that killed the crew.
Mattie's son Marc and her Husband become instant tragic heros and celebrities. The world embraces their loss.
Fearing an Uprising (hello Edmonton ;-) ), a rescue mission is funded and sent to Mars to look for survivors. Utilizing the newly developed NASA FDR rocket, the spacecraft can reach mars in 30 days. A team led by Astronaut Abigail Harrison commands the spacecraft "Excelsior" and they launch amids great fanfare from the ISS.
As scandal threatens to destroy the government, can Abigail and her crew reach the remains of "Rome" and seek out any possible survivors. Treachery surrounds them as the government quietly sabotages their mission in order to cover up the extent of the mission.
Frances L. Posted 5 months ago
AMAZING!! Never know what could be... :) Thanks for this, Donal! Love your involvement!

Wow Donal - are you a screenwriter or something? That's awesome!
Donal O. Posted 5 months ago
Not at all. I just read a lot. Thank you Michelle. That's high praise.
Chado M. Posted 5 months ago
Indecisive = not awesome. Would have liked to see you guys grab one idea - (if even it wasn't the 'right' one for you) and pitch it in a plausible way. Any one of these could have worked - but doing it this way kind of just seems like it was thrown together last minute.
Frances L. Posted 5 months ago
Thanks for the comment, Chado. We enjoy hearing everyone's different perspectives.
Tina I. Posted 5 months ago

Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
I guess there are the obvious spin-offs - and a novel is a novel way of expanding the franchise. But if you're looking for ideas - why not Blue Horizon, Green Horizon or some of the other possible colours? Tetrachromats. The fourth dimension of colour. So many possibilities. great video.
Diane N. Posted 5 months ago
Caution of working with different color ideas... what about all the 'in the closet' color blind people out there?
Donald Y. Posted 5 months ago
Yes, for sure. But, do they watch movies?
Frances L. Posted 5 months ago
Definitely, the colour ideas are endless. :)
