I like the banana as hero, poster B. It expresses the impersonal nature of online dating. Poster A has a person in it, giving it a more personal feel. And most people like that.
Frank L. Posted 6 months ago
So many things are going through my mind right now, I don't know what to say.
Chad M. Posted 6 months ago
Both good but A is best
Joslyn P. Posted 6 months ago
They were both okay I chose A
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
love poster one
Mike S. Posted 6 months ago
A was good but had flaws like the paper nametag and where's nurse costume?
Stacey A. Posted 6 months ago
I like both posters, but went with A.
Paul S. Posted 7 months ago
I do laugh when I watch this trailer, good luck
Trish M. Posted 7 months ago
"A" hooks the imagination in a fun way that says "this is a comedy" It really portrays what the film is about. "B" seems to convey "X- rated adult film" but not lead me to believe (necessarily) that it is a comedy.
Anna K. Posted 7 months ago
Poster A has a great vintage look
Diane N. Posted 7 months ago
Poster A is more subtle. It has my vote.
Kaitlyn M. Posted 7 months ago
I was tempted to go with the second one because it is new, (and, who doesn't love a blatant banana-penis), however I can't get past the power of your the image in your first one. In one image you've managed to capture the tone of the film, hints of story and character.
Paula B. Posted 7 months ago
So naughty.
Marianne M. Posted 7 months ago
I chose A but both certainly grab your attention.
Andrej K. Posted 7 months ago
Pretty Funny & smart
Andie Q. Posted 7 months ago
pretty face with interesting prop. nicely done
Jane M. Posted 7 months ago
I prefer the starker poster
Betty H. Posted 7 months ago
Poster B seems to tell it as it is.
Mick B. Posted 7 months ago
I have to agree with previous and knowledgable commenters, the lead is simply amazing! Poster A
Roxanne T. Posted 7 months ago
Poster A makes you go Hmmmm, plus Paula and that subtle smile go a long way! I'm also fond of the 'you never know what's inside the wrapper' appeal of Poster B. The intrigue factor won me over though and I chose A!
Tempo S. Posted 7 months ago
I love poster A. It's her facial expression that makes it great, in my opinion.
Alexei F. Posted 7 months ago
The red poster looks more upbeat and friendly. The condom in poster A conveys a poor image. Poster B is more fun.
I love both posters, but I have fondness for low-brow / un-subtle humour (see comments below). In a perfect world, Nurse Paula would be holding the penana from poster B.
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
We don't judge those who enjoy good low brow. We are pretty fond of it ourselves when the moment presents itself. Thanks for the comments and the FB shares Pablo!
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
I think a condom on a banana is a little more classy than a banana turned into a penis. Also your lead is quite stunning, so I think it's good that she's on the poster.
Bannister B. Posted 7 months ago
A is subtle, yet mischievous. B is blatant, and borderline low-brow. A is the clear winner.
Yvonne L. Posted 7 months ago
The Red Poster is amazing !
Gertray D. Posted 7 months ago
Left poster sells the show.
charlie e. Posted 7 months ago
This was super tough, because they're both so different. I loved the simplicity of poster B and the banana (LOVE the banana; ahem "banana", haha), but am not super fond of the font placement. I ended up voting for A because I think the title and imagery balance out better.
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks for such a stellar comment! I love to see people's thought process! #DOOD
Nicole J. Posted 7 months ago
Sexy!
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
Poster B is almost too simple. Poster A is definitely way more engaging and fun
Helen M. Posted 7 months ago
Both fantastic.. but somehow the nurse tag makes it all so innocent & acceptable....."A" it is!
Kelly G. Posted 7 months ago
Oh I get it, they're penises... How edgy.
Glenn R. Posted 7 months ago
poster 1 by far
Paul D. Posted 7 months ago
Poster B would work for the "Unrated Director's Cut" cover.
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
TOTALLY. You are thinking the way we are.
Jaden N. Posted 7 months ago
I think poster A is more effective! Both are great though.
Kris J. Posted 7 months ago
Poster A is definitely an attention grabber. Very straight forward presentation and not overdone. Great work!
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
Poster A tells a better story. It draws you in and makes you wanna know more about it. Makes you wanna go to the theatre and watch it on a big screen.
Betty K. Posted 7 months ago
A has my vote!
Cinnamon C. Posted 7 months ago
I like the subtlety of B.
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Neither really grabbed me, but I still really like this project.
Brad D. Posted 7 months ago
Agree with some comments below. Would have trouble posting either in a movie theatre. I'd like to see some other imagery than the banana. What else happens in your film beside comparing a banana to a phallus? I liked your trailer, but I'm not feeling either of these.. (Motion Designer on Long Distance)
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
Good comments Brad. I think some people love the banana and are happy we kept it and others aren't so fond of a phallus. I think the comment "What happens in your film besides..." Could be asked of all the films on here but I am glad you asked and you are intrigued. Hopefully throughout the next couple weeks you'll get your answer. - #DOOD
Brad D. Posted 7 months ago
Looking forward to seeing more! I guess it's not that I don't like the image. Just out of everything in the trailer I thought there were stronger ideas to build off of. Anyway, thanks for the thoughtful response. I'll be watching!
Darren R. Posted 7 months ago
Poster A screams attention. #absolutionmovie Great marketing (could I borrow your mktg person for a day? LOL)
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
There is a team of us! The poster image was snapped by me (the director) while filming, its suited an idea that I had that I thought would make a great poster (I was right!). Rival Schools has and in house graphic designer and art director who guided the colour treatment, text, etc that photo really pop, and helped create the concept for the red poster.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Amazing posters! It was a tough decision but had to go with the banana! (Team Rosalind Revenge)
Roy H. Posted 7 months ago
Nurse Paula
Alexa B. Posted 7 months ago
BIGGER BANANA!
Love the banana... but it needs to be BIGGER!
Lindsey M. Posted 7 months ago
That's what she said! Sorry... I agree though.
Alexa B. Posted 7 months ago
HA
Ryan S. Posted 7 months ago
I swear to god, there's something about your lead that makes her enormously appealing. And she's great in the trailer. I feel she has a big career in front of her.
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
WE AGREE!!!
Beverley R. Posted 7 months ago
The first poster tells more about the content
Shannon H. Posted 7 months ago
Don't think either would be allowed in a theatre lobby as they have to be G-rated but A is my choice
Akash S. Posted 7 months ago
that is one funny banana haha
Frederick D. Posted 7 months ago
First one, not the biggest fan of good moral
Laurel L. Posted 7 months ago
A is a little more subtle. That is all.
Krystle B. Posted 7 months ago
Eye catching for sure...but it's hard to imagine the second poster on display at a family-friendly cineplex. Vote for poster 1.
Donna D. Posted 7 months ago
Def the Nurse Paula pic for the poster
Jolianne L. Posted 7 months ago
B is bold and original, like it!
Paula B. Posted 7 months ago
I like that naner.
Genevieve H. Posted 7 months ago
I like the red... it says sexy and bold
Tyler S. Posted 7 months ago
The text may have been a bit too small.
Marnie D. Posted 7 months ago
Very Creative (:
Suzie K. Posted 7 months ago
I would have put the banana lower so it was more literal. Because I'm literal. Brianne you are so inspiring and you are such a good filmmaker!
