Love the under tones to this story. Lindsey you are one creative girl who can tell an awesome story. Guys will dig this story...trust me ;)
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
We hope so! I want men to enjoy this film just as much as women. It's fun for the whole freaky family! Haha

You guys are doing amazing at creating a film presence within our city. Just imagine how much more of a presence you will have when you movie is made here in Edmonton. Can't wait. The origins of this concept once again is overall better then just a horror film. It actually has context, texture, background, which makes for a great story to be shoot and seen in Cineplex theathers.
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks so much Amy! We are so happy to have fan feedback because you never know if your idea is translating. I'm glad you get it and see how this could help Edmonton's film scene!

Kind'a like that mind of yours, Lindsey! Really interested to see the show when it's finished. Good lick! (yes, I know. It's meant to be a bear joke...)
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Ken! I know... It's a little strange, but something new!
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
One of the best things about GJR is that Lindz and the guys are just so accessible and friendly.
It is great to see them slaving away at the entries every week and producing new content for us to enjoy.
Kirk S. Posted 6 months ago
You rock, Lindsey.
Michael W. Posted 6 months ago
Ingenious!!!!! Who would ever have thought to make a movie around menstruating women attracting evil. Well done guys
jane D. Posted 6 months ago
very good

Bears like most wild animals have a very keen sense of smell. It is safer to not wear perfume (or after-shave), etc... The smell of blood would definitely attract the attention of a bear or any animal that is hungry.
Cara S. Posted 6 months ago
The more mission videos I see, the more and more I like the whole idea of this movie. :)
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Cara! Glad we're keeping you interested. Let us know what else you'd like to see.

By utilizing the Red Riding Hood story and cross pollinating it with a modern feminist approach and horror, you've got a great shot at making this film. If I had the money I would gladly fund it myself.
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
Wow, thank you so much Joe! We're hoping to continue to bring more to the table and make the Top 15. Then we have a real shot at making the film. Thanks so much for your kind words and support.

I'm really taken with this project. Along with Wolf Cop, it is my favorite genre pic on this site. Well done and great job on the trailer.
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
We're big fans of Wolf Cop too!

There is only one thing that bears are attracted to more than menstruating women, pic-a-nic baskets. *Should be read in a Yogi Bear voice*
The more that gets revealed about this film, the more I like it. Will hopefully remember to plug this on the podcast again this week.
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks so much Gill! And I love the Yogi Bear voice! Hahah. Let us know if we can send anything to you for a podcast. Lesley, Greg and myself have a background in radio.
Gill R. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Lindsey, we'll hopefully get something sorted out soon.

Sounds very interesting. I like original ideas and stories that aren't affaid to challenge the unconscious preconceptions our society holds!
Afzal H. Posted 6 months ago
Very well articulated, Lindsey. I love hearing about projects that are inspired by stories or events from childhood. And I just realized that even though it was unintentional, the red curtains behind you support the visual elements of the film ;)
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
HAHAH! Love the red curtains, never thought of that. Good eye Afzal!
Natalia N. Posted 6 months ago
This mission helped clarify a few thing about your trailer. Well done. I have a better understanding of your story now
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
Great! We were hoping that would be the case.
Donal O. Posted 6 months ago
That's huge from Natalia. She's got a real eye for film.
Michelle G. Posted 6 months ago
Interesting that you did this at the meet-up. I thought those were before the competition even opened. Regardless, you've done a really good job at articulating yourself and your vision. well done.
Lindsey M. Posted 6 months ago
Actually the meet up was just last weekend, with all the Edmonton teams still in the running. Some competitors were good pals already, some we just met. It was a great time!
