The use of improv in script is awesome! Love Rapid Fire. I can bet that this will make me laugh. great ironic cell call. Is that Irony?

Great mission. IMO, you are ahead of your time. There needs to be more focus on the awesome stuff -- improv, art appreciation.

Great Genesis for a modern comedy with a little edge. Name dropping Guest and Leigh? I'm in baby!

As a filmmaker I'm both empowered and apprehensive about the effects of the digital age on film. Sometimes I'll even be watching a film and check emails, Facebook which seems sacrilegious. Anything that explores our A.D.D culture is of interest to me.

Love to chat about your thoughts - especially how incorporating social media into the viewing experience changes how we tell stories. Shane is a purist in most things, but we like to discuss how technology and mobile can help to engage people with our stories. Do fans want to be involved in content as it's delivered, help shape the concepts, or just interact as fans of the finished product. FB is the best place to chat!

I definitely go back and forth myself... If the audience becomes the creator, and everyone is producing... you have no one listening. Art in the bleakest sense -- cacophony. Feel free to add me up, last name Adams.

very good work the best of luck

Decent job here - I liked how you incorporated how the idea came to be within the mission.

I'm just as curious with an actual movie within a movie written in autoscript. (ove the subtle transformers poke too!)
Lucas P. Posted 6 months ago
Nice presentation but I think the whole idea is kind of pretentious. Maybe I am missing the point. Good luck!
Shane L. Posted 6 months ago
Fair enough - but this is just the catalyst for the actual film. Like any big project, the seed of an idea doesn't necessarily look like the fully formed end product. Stick with us, and I think you'll see that we don't take ourselves too seriously.

Very good, showing my age and warped mind, this reminds me a lot of The three Stooges, Abbot and Costello, and a few others - sorta what I would call slap stick humour. Well done Shane, you are a mad genius and I am happy to be related.

Very innovative approach! Looking forward to see the outcome of this project. Good luck to all of you guys.

Definitely a cool idea and I love the question that youre' trying to answer and make fun of at the same time. Good luck!

Good work AutoScript team. The inspiration for your project is very well stated in this mission. I also wonder if a computer written script was barfed up on the screen if people would pay to see it? ..... Although I've been to one or two movies that seem to have been barfed up by a computer... LOL
Fernando P. Posted 6 months ago
I'd like to see more about this project if only because I also wonder about the "barfing it up on the screen" aspect of media these days!

Nicely done. There is NOTHING more annoying than someone using their phone during a film. Love this genesis and your process. Good luck!

Thanks, June! It's gonna be a crazy journey!

After #yegfilmmakerslive, the quality of the writing in Autoscript was the topic of conversation when we were talking about @cinecoup. We were very impressed.
Jeannette L. Posted 6 months ago
Thank you! Shane is an amazing talent. We are also are giving story credit to our cast. This collaborative story design process is keeping things fresh and reinforces our belief that the collective genius is more creative than the lone genius.

I think this is a really brilliant way to take on a mockumentary and Rapid Fire is full of talented people! Great job you guys!
Leta P. Posted 7 months ago
Totally original idea. Love the floating head This mission totally makes me want to really see this documentary? ahhh mockumentary?
Jaimie C. Posted 7 months ago
Love your creativity in telling something as simple as your idea behind Autoscript. The film needs to be made!
Bari D. Posted 7 months ago
LOL! Love the approach for your Genesis video - interesting new concept guys.
Amanda R. Posted 7 months ago
