It was an interesting concept, fdull off twists and turns and the scenery would be beautiful. It would have been good if there was more of the real movie filmed, if only a little.

Aw, I actually liked it right until the end...

You switched spots? Mind blown ;)
Mark V. Posted 6 months ago
Um. So in terms of the 'genesis' of the movie you could have told us what the inspiration behind the movie was other than "We just thought it up" that completely missed the point of the mission on how you explain the origins of it. Also I'm pretty sure you can get in trouble for copyright infringement for using pictures of other screenplays to promote your own.

love the switch up on the couch, really spiced things up :P I enjoyed hearing more about the movie hope you guys make it in as a wildcard!
Danny M. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks, Nat. We really wanted to blow people's minds with this one. Not sure if we'll be brought back for wildcard status. We love doing videos for you guys to enjoy, but aren't sure if it's a smart move for us to keep participating now that we've been eliminated. But, we'll see what the future brings!
Jose H. Posted 6 months ago
too bad, I really hoped to see you back as the wildcard.
Stacey A. Posted 6 months ago
Glad to see your head is ok! Love watching you each week. Best of luck!
Michael M. Posted 6 months ago
Love you guys...thanks for the chuckles...so glad you got over the headwound without turning into a werewolf, vampire or zzzzzombie. Best of luck. KAZAM http://coup.cc/ch9h

Finally - an explanation we can really sink our teeth into. You guys are hilarious, keep it coming and who knows what wildcards might await you.
Danny M. Posted 6 months ago
You're too kind! Not sure how the wildcard system works. Do we keep participating as if we were never eliminated, or will we just be brought back in? Either way, we'll let our fans decide our fate again on this one.
Michelle G. Posted 6 months ago
you still post mission videos even though you haven't moved onto the next round. But people can vote you into the next round. Only the powers that be will be able to bring you back into the competition, but it certainly wouldn't hurt for people to be watching your clips and commenting as it improves your trending score - if there is such a thing.
Michael M. Posted 6 months ago
You keep going with missions but as I've been told it's ultimately a Cinecoup decision more than votes.
Jose H. Posted 7 months ago
Hey too bad you didn't make it to the top 40, i was really hoping to see you guys there. Hope they bring you back as the wild card, and if that's not the case then well I hope you still get to make it. Best of luck!
Cooper B. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Jose!
Donal O. Posted 7 months ago
I was really hoping you'd make the top 40. I think you understood the challenge better than many teams and you certainly respected the cinecoup process better than many.
Cooper B. Posted 7 months ago
Perfect note to end on! What's this wildcard people keep talking about? Are voted out teams able to get it? Or are we out? I don't understand the rules at all. Anyway, thanks for all the comments everyone! We hope to continue entertaining you in one form or another!

If you insert a character that is an anachronistic sort of bush-man that fancies himself a modern day barbarian, and cast me in the role - I will help you make this film. - Honestly though - it's a great idea.
Jacquie G. Posted 7 months ago
contrary to Christopher W. who seems much more self aware then you two... you guys got this figured out. Those who comment negatively are just pissed they didn't have the balls and brains to do the same thing! YOU ARE FREE to be the film makers you want to be. Go forth and film!
Danny M. Posted 6 months ago
You are my favorite person.
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Hey guys, sorry you didn't make Top 40...really enjoyed this Mission 5. Definitely loved the asshole-ish wrap up! Haha! Hope you continue on to try to get the wildcard!! (Team Rosalind Revenge)
Andre v. Posted 7 months ago
Always different and I always looked forward to your missions. (Life of a Locksmith)
Jake C. Posted 7 months ago
Happy to see people stick to their guns, perfect send off. I really hope you get this made. Let me know if you need help in the camera dept., otherwise see you at the premier!
Enigma A. Posted 7 months ago
I'm convinced....that these guys are just irreverent enough as people to make a film living up to their expectations.
Seth C. Posted 7 months ago
I envy that couch...not it a wierd way you know, but like a totally healthy non romantic way. I saw a complex flavor, with notes of The Big Lebowski, Sideways, but with a peppery finish. Fuck me indeed. Well played my friends.
Christopher W. Posted 7 months ago
Argh...so, instead of trying, you guys are now being ironically douchy? Except you aren't doing anything different than you've done so far, so it isn't really ironic, just somewhat self-aware. Don't use the whole "oh, we're just writers" defence. The Cinecoup challenge was always meant as an accelerator for people who are ready and capable to take their projects to full development within a year. If you think your screenplay will measure up, enter it in a screenplay contest. If you manage to win, make millions, etc, you can be as douchy as you want. Until then, you aren't convincing anyone.
Enigma A. Posted 7 months ago
you haven't convinced me

Haters gonna hate
Cooper B. Posted 7 months ago
The worst part is I know this guy. And have been supporting his feature he's been shooting for year's, and have no beef with him yet he feels the need to be outrageously angry toward us. It's so bizarre. I get not everyone has to like us, but his level of hatred is truly strange and kind of embarrassing.
Christopher W. Posted 7 months ago
To Cooper: I've been supportive of projects I like and critical of those that I think need work. If you look back at my first comment on your film, it was constructively critical, urging you guys to put in more effort. Things snowballed from there, culminating in you making a passive-aggressive post on my Facebook wall (before quickly deleting it). My comments on your Genesis video are especially harsh given that FB exchange, coupled with your complete embrace of douchebaggery simply for the sake of it. Also, once again you failed in delivering on the Mission's intent, rehashing the plot (which, by the way, is interesting enough that it could work as a decent caper film) instead of talking about the genesis of the project.
While I appreciate that you've supported my film, if I started to go off the deep-end and act like a douche, I'd expect people to call me out on it. Now that you aren't in the Top 40, maybe you can find a screenplay competition better suited to your calibre.
