Love it!! :) All the best to you guys. -team #redhorizon
Gord G. Posted 7 months ago
Not really catching my interest. Maybe more Thor!
Will B. Posted 7 months ago
The blood spatter on the walls does not really match the trajectory of the initial explosion. But the explosion it'self looked pretty nice. Perhaps I watch too much Dexter. Nice vdeo and idea!
Cooper B. Posted 7 months ago
Shucks! Realism was what we were going for too!
Warren B. Posted 7 months ago
This is very very funny, but more info on what you will do for the budget guys! (Are you actually using cgi gore? cgi... wine?)(I like your premise, btw.)
Cooper B. Posted 7 months ago
No. Our film does not contain any CGI or effects whatsoever which is why we thought this mission was unfair. Our movie is a dramatic comedy set in the 30's about wine. No effects needed or wanted.
Michael M. Posted 7 months ago
humour and no zzzzombies...what more could I ask for...sex?

Thanks! It was worth the pain I suffered then!

Brian L. Posted 7 months ago
That was truly awesome and inspiring! Now, how do I find out the secret?

So is there really a CG shoe?
Clayton P. Posted 7 months ago
What a sucker punch! Great gag.
Katie T. Posted 7 months ago
Good clean fun.
Tom J. Posted 7 months ago
You're both pretty likable with fairly natural delivery, but the dialogue is pretty expository even for a "mission" video. It also seems like exploding heads are rapidly becoming a common occurrence.
Matty G. Posted 7 months ago
Hahahhaha! That's pretty damn funny you guys! HA! Awesome!
Rachel C. Posted 7 months ago
Lmao, that was awesome! - Team Rock Bottom
Holly W. Posted 7 months ago

The...........TP? It's gotta be. That ryhmed!
Tanya H. Posted 7 months ago
I should have turned my speakers down. Warning next time, please! :)
Susan S. Posted 7 months ago
Agreed. You don't a lot of flash when you've got a lot of substance.
But yeah, more info please :)
Astra L. Posted 7 months ago
Funny! I like that the video is simple but still good!
Bill C. Posted 7 months ago
Great effect and timing. Still no idea what film you guys are going to make.
Cooper B. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks. We are trying to do the best with what little we have. Really, all we have is a very good original script, and our hopes and dreams!
Evelyn M. Posted 7 months ago
awesome!
Chris L. Posted 7 months ago
haha awesome
Cheryl G. Posted 7 months ago
nice work you guys!!
Kathleen B. Posted 7 months ago
Fun!
Eric R. Posted 7 months ago
Nice job
Brendan R. Posted 7 months ago
I'm not even sure if any of those objects were actually CG'd in or not, but the beautiful thing is that it doesn't even matter, that was really well done and even more impressive since you have no dedicated CG person and from what it sounds like pretty much no budget. Good job on the head explosion and if an object there really was CG (you never did interact with the toilet paper...>.>) then I'm even more impressed.
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
Really glad you liked it. I think I'm gonna let the mystery live on this one.
Brenden M. Posted 7 months ago
really funny, have no idea how you CG'd that shoe
Darryl L. Posted 7 months ago
did not see that coming! haha
Will B. Posted 7 months ago
Great video, comic timing and pace!
Keldon S. Posted 7 months ago
Gotta get my vote on for Ruby Starfish!
Cara S. Posted 7 months ago
That's worth an LMAO
John E. Posted 7 months ago
I laughed, and laughed. :)

Very funny. Loved it.
Kris S. Posted 7 months ago
Didn't see that coming!
Lisa A. Posted 7 months ago
neat. nicely done
Emma S. Posted 7 months ago
This was EXACTLY how I felt when I saw this mission posted, kudos for saying it outloud! Very silly. Good luck!
Cooper B. Posted 7 months ago
Haha thanks. Are you on a team?
Sara B. Posted 7 months ago
Agree! And we're both from Long Distance :)
Jordan P. Posted 7 months ago
gotta say thought it was the toilet paper
Dianne S. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting. How cheap was it though and is it in the movie?
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
Extremely and no. Our film doesn't require any special effects. Since we are low-budget guys who need to write low-budget films, we don't include special effects in our scripts (right now). Which is why we felt this mission was not very well suited to us. But it's our job to entertain on this planet, so we did! We hope. Either way, Cooper's dead now. So that's settled.
Hiro W. Posted 7 months ago
No way! That was sick.
Matt S. Posted 7 months ago
Brilliant. Funny. Do effects like that play a role in your flick?
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
Nope, so imagine our excitement at hearing the mission! But hey- nothing's too much for our team!... Except mission 3 maybe...
Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Haha hilarious! Great work guys! (Team Rosalind Revenge)
Rob H. Posted 7 months ago
i laughed :)
Benjamin O. Posted 7 months ago
funny
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
This was "mind blowing" :) You proved your creative genius, great set up, hilarious built-up & the final blow!
Joslyn P. Posted 7 months ago
still don't know why it's called ruby starfish... Are you going to use your special effects to incorporate Thor into the movie?? That would be pretty impressive
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
If we DO use special effects, it will certainly be to have our favorite Asgardian swoop in shirtlessly.
Carolyn K. Posted 7 months ago
Liked it - totally unexpected.
Jane M. Posted 7 months ago
Very funny!
Shane T. Posted 7 months ago
Good one guys.
Tyler S. Posted 7 months ago
Funny! never saw it coming
Dan S. Posted 7 months ago
awesome
Fabien W. Posted 7 months ago
This is really funny guys! Decent acting for writers ;)
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
I'm interested in you two as people. Which is actually a hard thing to accomplish.
Lawrence T. Posted 7 months ago
Funny guys
Joel S. Posted 7 months ago
Very sneaky! ... Get it? I like the meta-ness and the cheekiness of this mission. Its not really about the trailer, but I like the creativeness so I don't mind because it has me interested in you guys as funny people/writers
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
Great to hear! As actual low (low, low) budget filmmakers, selling us as a team is 90% of the battle. It's how we got a talented team to sign on and help us make our first feature, and it's what we're hoping to do again!
Jacquie G. Posted 7 months ago
always funny and charming
Michelle M. Posted 7 months ago
You boys make me giggle :)
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
haha really enjoyed this. Very funny. but would've been cool to see what cheap tricks you used in Ruby Starfish. What did you use in the trailer that appeared high production for little to no money
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
We actually have none of Ruby filmed yet- we were hoping this competition could be a gateway to that. Also, our film doesn't require any special effects. So we thought we'd have some fun with it ;)
Kevin P. Posted 7 months ago
This... I like this.
Kelly G. Posted 7 months ago
Ha! That was great. Well done, guys.
Pepper S. Posted 7 months ago
You guys are running out of team members.
Shannon T. Posted 7 months ago
Ha, funny stuff. Give me more details about your movie next time though.
Christina I. Posted 7 months ago
pretty funny but would be cool to see more of what the actual concept is about!
Petra P. Posted 7 months ago
Aaaah! I had my speakers turned up and that scared the crap out of me.
Teela B. Posted 7 months ago
Not a bad trick. Especially on the cheap.
Michelle R. Posted 7 months ago
What's on your shirt? I hate it when I can't see what's on people's shirts! Aaaah!
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
It's a picture of professional Donkey Kong player Billy Mitchell, with his favorite catch phrase, "NEVER SURRENDER" written below. Because I'm a grown up.
Jake S. Posted 7 months ago
I'm really enjoying your approach to these vids.
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks! This is the way we feel it should be. Wise-ass-y.
Simone F. Posted 7 months ago
Solid stuff again, gents.
Simon T. Posted 7 months ago
Good stuff, guys. Always enjoy your vids.
Sam J. Posted 7 months ago
I like that guy's glasses. Where'd he get them?
Cooper B. Posted 7 months ago
I took them from a corpse. (that I FOUND)
Cooper B. Posted 7 months ago
Also... Sam... Jackson??
Sam J. Posted 7 months ago
Not the Jackson, too bad.
Amanda T. Posted 7 months ago
I am still wondering if that TP is real or not.....
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
The shoe didn't even touch it!
Amy S. Posted 7 months ago
Are you guys acting or is that just you?
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
We don't really know anymore... our lives have just become a strange, Bert and Ernie-like, sarcasm contest.
Walter H. Posted 7 months ago
First of all, I can't tell you how I did it Haha
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
It would've been shitty of me!
Katherine H. Posted 7 months ago
I like the shoe.
Crystal F. Posted 7 months ago
Great chemistry between these two. Whoever wins Cinecoup should just cast these guys as their leads. Even if it's an all female cast.
Samantha B. Posted 7 months ago
"CGI, Computer....special effected." HA!
Johnny A. Posted 7 months ago
Perfect. I want this one trending.
Kevin N. Posted 7 months ago
I want these guys on my tv! Vote, vote vote!
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
I am failing miserably at not laughing.
Farnsworth S. Posted 7 months ago
Wha! How you do dat?
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
It was simple... the toilet paper was the ACTUAL CG! Fooled ya!
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
Creative ending!
Stacey A. Posted 7 months ago
Ending caught me by surprise!
Tatiana Z. Posted 7 months ago
Surprising ending, but personally I'd like to see something relating closer to your movie pitch in upcoming missions.
Danny M. Posted 7 months ago
A fair comment. We hope to shine more light on the actual project. Unfortunately, we're in this competition because our idea is too grand for us to feasibly relay to people, so instead we're trying to give some insight to our sense of humor and personalities. And our film really requires no special effects, so missions like this are sort of... just busywork for us. That said, it turned out to be fun watching my friend's head explode.
Andre v. Posted 7 months ago
