yea theres really not much going on here.. nice shot though.
Zach W. Posted 6 months ago
Great sound. I like the lighting from all the windows. Could be even slower in my opinion.
Zaul M. Posted 6 months ago
Just echoing others really but without narration or explanation it really seems like a simple shot that is well....simple. Great sound though.
Lukee W. Posted 6 months ago
a little weak
Dawn E. Posted 6 months ago
I'm sorry, but I don't understand this.
FilmFan F. Posted 6 months ago
I don't know what we were supposed to get out of this. A little narration and less annoying music. Sorry Guys. Good luck next mission.
Steph K. Posted 6 months ago
Sorry this is not good
Rob N. Posted 6 months ago
I do not know how this works for the "Cheap Tricks" Mission. I agree with other people's comments that this would have worked will for the "Speechless" Mission. I did really like the sound work though.
Kathy M. Posted 6 months ago
This would've been cool for Speechless
Bella K. Posted 6 months ago
nice it looks cool
Henry O. Posted 6 months ago
cool
Joslyn P. Posted 7 months ago
a bit off topic but okay
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
I don't fell your approach worked for mission 2. I would have liked a explanation to know what cheap tricks you used to achieve the look you got. I also found the entire pan was not particularly smooth which was distracting.
Hugh P. Posted 7 months ago
ok
Tammy B. Posted 7 months ago
This Is not a mission....can you update
Frank G. Posted 7 months ago
Harsh Michelle G but I see your point
Grant S. Posted 7 months ago
Need for info.
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
I think you may have wanted to add some more descriptive of how this accomplishes the cheap trick. Did you shoot this on $5??
Krista B. Posted 7 months ago
Not sure at all how this relates to the mission.
Bern E. Posted 7 months ago
Good luck, guys.
Cathie S. Posted 7 months ago
hmmm one actor does it all means less money to payroll
Bob C. Posted 7 months ago
This doesn't tell us at all how you will maintain a high production value on a budget.
Montgomerie J. Posted 7 months ago
Good job.
Dougie M. Posted 7 months ago
Good luck
Oskar W. Posted 7 months ago
Trying to understand the trick. I'd like to see the western come to light
Trevor S. Posted 7 months ago
What was the trick here?
William B. Posted 7 months ago
I'm not sure I understand...
donna S. Posted 7 months ago
loved it
Jim L. Posted 7 months ago
Looks good - camera work build suspense
Wilma S. Posted 7 months ago
good job
Rod N. Posted 7 months ago
This Cheap Trick vid is better than the Trailer, and the Pitch vid. But turning a camera 360 is not much of a money saver.
Daniel R. Posted 7 months ago
the cinecoup crowd may not be the right audience for this, but this clip is supremely badass. great work!
Patricia F. Posted 7 months ago
looks authentic enough
Lee E. Posted 7 months ago
great job!
Mitch B. Posted 7 months ago
like the suspense aspect but not sure about how you're pitching your technique
Troy H. Posted 7 months ago
good job but some explanation would have helped
Tyler S. Posted 7 months ago
great use of light, creative camera angles and a great location. All that added to the fact that you live in a place surrounded by prairie and the possibilities are endless for this genre.
Nole N. Posted 7 months ago
Nice
Krystle B. Posted 7 months ago
I was also lost on this until I read through the comments. Interesting idea but some narrative would've helped me.
Emily M. Posted 7 months ago
love the slow panorama!
Danielle M. Posted 7 months ago
Nice soundtrack.
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
Did you guys shoot on film for real?
Callen D. Posted 7 months ago
Yes, Fuji Eterna Super16, which sadly is no longer made.
Brianne N. Posted 7 months ago
Wow. Love film. Points just for that alone! - The Dangers of Online Dating
jack k. Posted 7 months ago
good job
Nadav S. Posted 7 months ago
interesting approach. great job.
Becky D. Posted 7 months ago
The lighting is gorgeous.
Redmond O. Posted 7 months ago
Natural sunlight, existing sets, slow takes & creepy music -- kind of a Leah Pool or maybe a 70's feminist documentary feel to this take. Either way, low-budget creepy. Probably the least expensive cheap trick clip.
Sarah T. Posted 7 months ago
Love the light, the surprise.
Laurie S. Posted 7 months ago
suspense... but I don't see the trick part.
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
I just read the comment below of what you guys were trying to do. I get it now but would've been better if you described that in the video because not everyone is going to scroll through your comments to read what others wrote or your responses. It does look like a cool shot.
Rob H. Posted 7 months ago
is the film finished in a lab or are you hand developing?
Callen D. Posted 7 months ago
Studiopost, Edmonton.
Richard M. Posted 7 months ago
What is the point?
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
I don't really get it...
Candice M. Posted 7 months ago
Yes what are you saying
Andrea M. Posted 7 months ago
maybe we need you to spell it out for us.
Leslie H. Posted 7 months ago
Didn't really meet the mission requirements. Doesn't say much.
Julia Richard M. Posted 7 months ago
interesting
Jeff R. Posted 7 months ago
The scene looks good, but I wish you could've given us some insight on the process!
Callen D. Posted 7 months ago
Jeff, the trick with this shot was how to shoot a dark church with a 360 pan- where to put the lights? Luckily our dop is something of a mad genius at exposing film and was confident we could do it with window light (even though it was a really overcast day). We did one take over-exposed, one under- and one on the money, which we used.
Jeff R. Posted 7 months ago
Thats awesome! That you guys are using film is something very unique about your production. Thanks for the info, looking forward to the next mission!
Jereme W. Posted 7 months ago
Interesting look...not feeling the vibe...
Tiara A. Posted 7 months ago
Sort of lost my attention on this one
Fabien W. Posted 7 months ago
