I totally agree. Especially for a horror film, it needs to be engaging, storywise
Rob E. Posted 5 months ago
I love your guys' concept. I'm certain that you guys are going to have a hit movie on your hands, whether you go through cinecoup or not
Sherry H. Posted 6 months ago
Great point on how borrowing and using simple items can cheap. The scene was a little slow, though.
Bernardo C. Posted 6 months ago
If u can do ALL of that , why do you need 1 million then? why havent you put 10k on your credit card and shot the thing already? I wouldnt buy a ticket to see a movie like this. Wrong caliber competition?
Zombetty B. Posted 6 months ago

Great style of showing the tricks! Not my genre. Like the others, I love the running total at the bottom.
L D. Posted 7 months ago
Well done.
Kathy S. Posted 7 months ago
I hate horror movies so this is not a trailer that appeals to me nor would I rent it or pay to see it or even watch it for free for that matter.
Michael L. Posted 7 months ago
I would not watch them in a house. I would not watch them with a mouse. I would not watch them here or there. I would not watch them anywhere.
This post reminded me of something...
The moral of Green Eggs and Ham is that if you try them, even though you think you hate them, that they might turn out to be something you love!
Jamie H. Posted 7 months ago
Blown away!
Fanny B. Posted 7 months ago
Way to prove how you can do a lot with very little!
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Great job on the cheap tricks like the money total at the bottom.
Siobhan M. Posted 7 months ago
Really neat!

Phil B. Posted 7 months ago
Excellent economical filmmaking. And the running $$ tally as the scene plays is great
Carley S. Posted 7 months ago
Cool!
Donald Y. Posted 7 months ago
Not very expensive for a scene. Does this mean you could make the whole movie for $1600?
Kelsey M. Posted 7 months ago
Really interested to know about the makeup, and who does it. However you have proven how a little money can go a long way when used the right way.
Joyce T. Posted 7 months ago
Nicely done
Colin T. Posted 7 months ago
Was hoping to see more about the makeup but nonetheless you've shown how little money can go a long way.
Andrew M. Posted 7 months ago
NIce work. Well done.
Genevieve H. Posted 7 months ago
I have the same comments for you and many others that like that simple techniques can make such a big difference, and what you have done here shows that you have some good ideas for making a little go a long way.
Alex K. Posted 7 months ago
I'd love to see the make-up fx as well! What a wonderful way of shooting content fast though! Never thought it could be that easy!
Candice M. Posted 7 months ago
It would be cool to see a behind the scenes look at how you accomplished the make-up. Seems really cool though.
Oskar W. Posted 7 months ago
Had to watch it twice after reading the comments. I didn't notice the cost - too busy looking at the visuals: looks great.
Nathan F. Posted 7 months ago
nicely done! loved the running total and yes, story is everything. Your team blew me away with Beware Pickpocket so I know what you are capable of. Looking forward to seeing more of this Tom.

Completely agree with your motto of Story Is King! Keep your eye on that and things should be fine. But in the interest of constructive criticism, I encourage you (if you haven't already, which I'm sure you have) to take a look at Robert McKee's book STORY - easily the best book out there (in my humble opinion) about the principles of storytelling for screen. Good luck!
Dawn B. Posted 7 months ago

Wow... just watched webseries episode #17 at http://www.whoismrtom.com/footage/page/2/ if you want insight on what it's like for Mr. Tom, watch it. Brilliant!
Michael L. Posted 7 months ago
John! Very happy to see somebody watching through the webseries. This episode was particularly difficult to film -- the day was very depressing. Literally we went to the mall 11:00am... and at 11:25am we were removed by security. TOM caused such a disturbance, people were freaking out, calling him names -- and eventually called security to remove him. Our cameras were completely hidden... and Tom never did anything rude to anybody; he was just trying to walk around and blend in. The truth hurt that day. People can be cruel! We learnt a lot about the character with this experiment.
ANYWAYS John! Thank you for your support. Hope you enjoy the rest of the episodes too!

Samantha L. Posted 7 months ago
Your commitment to the idea that story is the most important element and that everything else could just be "cheap tricks" and it wouldn't matter is heartwarming to this little movie lover. It's so true.
Michael L. Posted 7 months ago
Samantha, we are grateful for your support. Funny you should say 'heart-warming' -- thats essentially what we are creating. A 'heart-warming horror-movie'. Pretty neat concept if you ask me. But of course i'd say that I'm the filmmaker...
Jeremy B. Posted 7 months ago
Nice way of presenting the costs. I liked it!
