Very amusing video. The werewolf makeup has to be REALLY great though, in order for it to work.So I wouldn't skimp on that part of the budget.
Valid H. Posted 5 months ago
Educational AND funny. Well played.
victor l. Posted 5 months ago
Wow! I like the special effects. The $10 finger scratching looks promising!
Natalia B. Posted 5 months ago
Amazing! I really hope this gets through! Wolfcop rocks!
Kim M. Posted 5 months ago
Fantastic!
Cyndi F. Posted 5 months ago
I really like this concept. I'd love to see this full film along with some of the other film ideas in the competition.
Ang C. Posted 5 months ago

Ann G. Posted 5 months ago
Excellent job. Neat stuff.
Kathy L. Posted 5 months ago

MAK138 K. Posted 5 months ago

the skin tearing off the arm was very well executed. Not my style of movie but make-up artists have done great.
kael v. Posted 5 months ago
Very high production value. Good call using a real wolf effects and make up.
Marly V. Posted 5 months ago
I think your idea has been done before. But very high production value. And really pro looking.
Nadia H. Posted 5 months ago
I've seen Wolf cop as well as some rather nice lungs up close and personal at Calgary comic con. All I have to say is the makeup effects are amazingly well done, very clever and resourceful.
Lowell D. Posted 5 months ago
Ha! Thanks Nadia. Glad we got to meet you at the Expo. We probably threw some lungs at you. :)
Nadia H. Posted 5 months ago
you did let me play with 'em. :D my husband has been wearing his deputy badge ever since! I stole his tshirt though. We should've bought two..
David S. Posted 5 months ago
Wow, that's super gross and super awesome. You guys have a great concept and I love how effective your "tricks" are
Lowell D. Posted 5 months ago
Thanks. Sometimes the "cheapest" tricks can be the most effective.
Harmony F. Posted 5 months ago
I agree great make up, and I like the set.
Lowell D. Posted 5 months ago
We've got some great locations...and crew...and a werewolf. :)
Kerri S. Posted 5 months ago
Great make-up artistry and special effects. An interesting idea of making this a budget friendly film, "Smoke and Mirrors" works!
Lowell D. Posted 5 months ago
We agree Kerri. Thank you!

Lowell D. Posted 5 months ago

Lowell D. Posted 5 months ago
Thanks Mary!
Julius G. Posted 5 months ago
well done
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
I think this shows an ability to create on a sensible budget. There seems to be one werewolf - may we expect his family to be included when budget permits?
Lowell D. Posted 5 months ago
Ha! No just the one werewolf in this movie Donald. This is an origin story. But he's got to fight someone/something doesn't he! ;)
Jolene K. Posted 6 months ago
well played out
Zombetty B. Posted 6 months ago
Very clever video. Love it!
Jolene K. Posted 6 months ago
I agree
Richard Z. Posted 6 months ago
I appreciated the effort, perfection and skills that were implemented in this project.
Kathleen B. Posted 6 months ago
Cute! Well done. Neat to see how you did some of the effects !
Brenda H. Posted 6 months ago

Kristi H. Posted 6 months ago
I agree Don
Donald Y. Posted 6 months ago
I still don't feel this is original. But I do like the way that it has been created. And I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. The competition is not over.
Jordan L. Posted 6 months ago
I like the classic approach with the make up instead of computer FX also good work on the guts.

Wojciech N. Posted 7 months ago
funny way of showing the mission
Lowell D. Posted 6 months ago
Thanks Wojciech!
jerry lee c. Posted 7 months ago
The main theme in most of the films : blood, guts, gore, and tons of neat make-up. Remember to have great acting too though
Lowell D. Posted 6 months ago
Yes, good acting and a good story. One can only go so far with guts and blood. ;)
Linda R. Posted 7 months ago
Wow, that's pretty cool makeup
Ryan H. Posted 7 months ago
swweeeeet
Trish M. Posted 7 months ago

Leigh N. Posted 7 months ago
That poor little girl! But your werewolf really is awesome and the guts hitting the floor makes my stomach turn.
Jeevin J. Posted 7 months ago
Emerson Ziffle is my favourite name ever. Great makeup work!
Lowell D. Posted 7 months ago
Say his name three times in a row and he appears!
Allen M. Posted 7 months ago
Very cool, guys. That kid will fear wolves for the rest of his life.
Ryan P. Posted 7 months ago
I really can't wait to see where this goes. The teams members seem hilarious, and honestly, that makes it very real to have an interest in.
Richard B. Posted 7 months ago
ha, loved to see how you put the effects together.
Oscar T. Posted 7 months ago
nice effects
Milan J. Posted 7 months ago
great work, fun to watch
Margaret S. Posted 7 months ago
This movie seems to have the best cheap tricks I have seen. The effects are key to taking a story like this from a campy b-movie to an a-horror. It's amazing what these guys have done with modelling, the foam masks and makeup. It's also cool how they accomplished the guts effect without showing it per se. And every good horror movie production stands to benefit from a local nut job. I sincerely hope he makes it in to the film.
Lowell D. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks a lot Margaret!
Cheryl M. Posted 7 months ago
Amazing work! Great special effects! You guys crack me up! Love the sense of humor in all your videos!

Nathan M. Posted 7 months ago
I just love the concept of this. Looks like it was just a ton of fun on the set.
Kyle L. Posted 7 months ago
show us more behind the scenes. can't wait to see all the extra footage on the DVD
David F. Posted 7 months ago
I like the old-school mentality which shows that less is more (eg. the guts spilling) -- let the audience imagine things, instead of trying to hyper-realistically show everything.
Tim T. Posted 7 months ago
Great stuff. My only criticism would be that this movie doesn't already exist for us all to purchase immediately.
Lowell D. Posted 7 months ago
Haha! Thanks Tim.
Matt S. Posted 7 months ago
Love this project.
Candy H. Posted 7 months ago
smart
Siobhan W. Posted 7 months ago
hahaha....cool
Gord G. Posted 7 months ago
This movie looks fantastic!
Will B. Posted 7 months ago
I've always been a fan of real effects. Having some background in working with make-up, I can see and appreciate the work that has gone into creating Wolfcop. Kudo's to the actor wearing the mask as well. What a sweaty mess.
Stephen S. Posted 7 months ago
Practical effects always win for me. It is great that you have a talented team to help you out.
Colin P. Posted 7 months ago
nice moves with the guts, looked awesome! I agree the werewolf makeup has room for improvement
Doug G. Posted 7 months ago
Well done.
Dali V. Posted 7 months ago
very nicely done. definitely want to see more from this team.
AChristine W. Posted 7 months ago
well done
Adam G. Posted 7 months ago
Nice. There's nothing I can really say to add to this, since you nailed the one point that every werewolf films should consider: Having a physical being do the monster, and do it well, to complete the illusion of a real creature.
Looking forward to seeing what else comes of this project.
No K. Posted 7 months ago
wolf! wolf!
Shawn B. Posted 7 months ago
Cheating and editing at its best!

Paul D. Posted 7 months ago
Funny stuff. I like that you avoided CGI and went with old school tricks.
Marc D. Posted 7 months ago
Love the guts trick.

could be interesting
Peter S. Posted 7 months ago
Definitely like the use of traditional make up, camera tricks, and use of practical effects.
Tyler S. Posted 7 months ago
Great production value. Everyone on the team is very likeable. I can tell you're very professional and can get things made. I also appreciate your use of practical effects. I want you guys to succeed because of the above. Unfortunately, you're skills are going into a mediocre and cliche concept. I don't want a slice of your delicious production 'cuz I'm lactose intolerant. :/
Lowell D. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks for your kind words. We love twisting cliches, so there will be some new surprises and fun added to what you may be expecting here. :)
Crystal V. Posted 7 months ago
Great idea to get a real werewolf to save on the budget! Just make sure to have the camera ready when he attacks so you can save on the sfx/gags too!
Mickey B. Posted 7 months ago
Nice guts shot!

I can see why so many people are loving this... it's just lovable.

Lowell D. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Chris!
Antonio J. Posted 7 months ago
I love this so much I don't know how many times I have watched it!
Donal O. Posted 7 months ago
I just wolfcop. Scaring babies is just funny (though as a dad i'd totally wolfcop his a$$ for scaring my daugter :-))
I appreciate that wolfcop is real rather than SFX and your sense of humour shines through. You could do a lot with $1m

Maureen M. Posted 7 months ago
Blood and guts on a budget! Nice! The mask was really good, good work.
Giovanna G. Posted 7 months ago
Nice practical cheap trick, I can't imagine that the make up was cheap but it looks great!
Redmond O. Posted 7 months ago
The most important thing is a genre where lower-cost practical effects are appropriate and expected. Check. Dark scenes, lots of action and short takes help. Check. Beyond that, just talent and creativity. Check.
Lowell D. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks, Redmond!
Fernando P. Posted 7 months ago
Excellent creativity and gives me a sense of how you have and how you will use "cheap tricks" in WolfCop!

Michael K. Posted 7 months ago
I hope you hold Jimmy Quint to his promise to make the werewolf sing and dance. What could make a better end credits?
Trevor L. Posted 7 months ago

Annelise L. Posted 7 months ago
I say go with Jimmy's plan! #supportSkfilm :)
Jade t. Posted 7 months ago
I like that you kept with your lead potentially killing the crew :)
Lowell D. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks. We love to turn anything into a story, even a mission video. :)
Jade t. Posted 7 months ago
I think every mission video should be entertaining and insightful.. People should WANT to watch all of your stuff. Good work:)
Leslie H. Posted 7 months ago
Love the "guts" trick. And that poor kid...although I have to admit I laughed.
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
Great use of resources! Make sure you guys do a behind the scenes while in production. It'll be cool to see how it's done on the set.
Kirk S. Posted 7 months ago

Ryan B. Posted 7 months ago
Make up looks great! Haha
Shane S. Posted 7 months ago
You had me at practical FX and make up....and werewolves....and jaws.

Jeff R. Posted 7 months ago
Practical effects are always the best!
Paige A. Posted 7 months ago
Good job on the makeup!
Christina I. Posted 7 months ago
wicked makeup!
Emma S. Posted 7 months ago
I love practical effects and makeup instead of CGI, especially when/if it works. Heavy masks are challenging, most don't move enough to convey emotions and character. Good luck, neat mission video.
Jacquie G. Posted 7 months ago
audiences will love this! you guys convey your story and missions very well!
Lee H. Posted 7 months ago
good make up!
Aaron D. Posted 7 months ago

Rick J. Posted 7 months ago
One of my favorites!
Andrew V. Posted 7 months ago
I the practical approach you're taking. As well as your use of sound and camera angles.
Samantha L. Posted 7 months ago
I really like the continuing story line you have from one mission video to the next. It's neat and effective at creating unity in all the parts of your project. Also I love fake syrupy gore! Give me that stuff over CGI any day.
Jason T. Posted 7 months ago
Gotta love practical FX. Looks awesome!
Jereme W. Posted 7 months ago
Great work on the werewolf effects!
Dawn F. Posted 7 months ago
Reminds me of Michael Landon in Teen Wolf only narlier lol
Jeff U. Posted 7 months ago
Practical really is the way to go for a movie like this - the CG blood even in high budget movies still doesn't look right.
Monty J. Posted 7 months ago
good work!
John K. Posted 7 months ago
Nice video... old school practical gags rule
Daniel H. Posted 7 months ago
Nice use of a mask and make-up rather than CG. Very Guillermo del Toro.
Kelly G. Posted 7 months ago
Hmm good job, guys. Really was not a fan of the sudden inclusion of Jaws references, especially since I didn't feel the original trailer had any real element of it. Seems like it was either a ploy to gain some cred/popularity, or something thought of after the initial concept.
Lowell D. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks! We love Jaws, and are inspired by their use of practical effects in the movie. We know their shark didn't work, but since we won't have a big "Jaws" budget we know sometimes we will have to tease rather than show. That's all. - Team WolfCop
Sheleena B. Posted 7 months ago
Well put together.
Etz B. Posted 7 months ago
Nice!
Brent L. Posted 7 months ago
look forward to more
Lew D. Posted 7 months ago

Did I mention I love you guys? -Team Gillian's Just Right
Derick M. Posted 7 months ago
i'm definately all for practical over CGI, makes the lighting and "grit" of an effect feel present. that said, just my personal opinion, wasnt a huge fan of the look of the werewolf. i think the teeth threw me off the most.

There's a lot of clever use of the practical effects here, certainly with the gore effects later on. Looking forward to this one.

I with the guy at the end. Get a real werewolf! Just kidding. I'm glad you're going for the real makeup effects instead of CGI.
Lowell D. Posted 7 months ago
We went with a real werewolf, and now we are paying the price. So many shallow graves...
Lindsey M. Posted 7 months ago
I'd hire Jimmy Quint. Love you guys! Glad you're a fan of the practical FX too, but they can still be bloody expensive!
