Teague P. Posted 7 months ago
Creative way to save money by making a deal with WDM
Jennifer M. Posted 7 months ago
Trading a classic movie night for the chance to film in a museum was a very clever idea. On a feature film I would worry about the cost of creating vintage costumes, so hopefully you can do lots of thrift store shopping.
Ann B. Posted 7 months ago
good tips
Gregory H. Posted 7 months ago
Really like the retro documentary style choice. Very funny but also greatly informative!
Marianne M. Posted 7 months ago

Because I'm trying to leave genuine constructive criticism...I guess just make sure when you're getting all this period stuff for free that you do your research and it's all from the same period! Great work so far guys, really rooting for you in the competition.

Gianna I. Posted 7 months ago
Loved your approach to Mission 2 and it's amazing to see the support you have for the project so far. (Team Rosalind Revenge)
Corey T. Posted 7 months ago
I like how you demonstrated to work required to get ppl invested in the idea and recruit outside help. Good work.
Redmond O. Posted 7 months ago
I think that's the trick to historical films in places like rural Saskatchewan. "History" is a very local thing and a lot of people are very proud of it, in a quiet way. Great thing is, much of the landscape hasn't changed. The main costumes looked realistic, but scenes with lots of extras in costumes will be tricky -- modern fabrics really don't look the same. You might find a local theatre company who has what you need.
Eric T. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks, Redmond. You're right about using the "locals" in local history - people love to help out. I appreciate your attention to fabric detail!
Betty H. Posted 7 months ago
Hey you guys did good "cheap tricks" work. I learned from your Mission 2. Thanks
Simon P. Posted 7 months ago

Very resourceful!! Good job guys! - Team Rock Bottom
Afzal H. Posted 7 months ago
Footage looks amazing. Can't wait to see this come to life. Please make sure you do a behind the scenes while in production for other filmmaker to show how it's all done.
Leslie H. Posted 7 months ago
Great job once again. I really love your comedic angle with the missions. It lets your audience see the lighter side of a team willing to take on such a difficult serious project. Keep it up!
Joel K. Posted 7 months ago
Should have mentioned how to light scenes with only a china lantern on a stick :)
Derek H. Posted 7 months ago
Also a great technique! Impossible to fit in ALL of the AMAZING money saving techniques in 90 seconds. We've gotta save some secrets...
Chris F. Posted 7 months ago
Best 2nd mission I've watched!
Derek H. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Chris!
Ally P. Posted 7 months ago
Fun!
Jonathan R. Posted 7 months ago
I feel like the comedic angle your taking to your missions is hurting this very serious "true story". Theres nothing funny about trying to tackle a period piece.
Eric T. Posted 7 months ago
Sorry you feel that way, Jon. Since this is a social platform, we feel that entertaining videos are more watchable (and more true to our personalities) than a strictly serious approach. I think the trailer is an excellent showcase of the respect and commitment we have for our project.
Jolene S. Posted 7 months ago
Innovative and practical....love how clever this is!
Teela B. Posted 7 months ago
Good stuff, Sask!
Jacquie G. Posted 7 months ago

I liked that you showed some of the people that became your community during this project. It was nice to see the gentleman that rented his car to you. He looked like a real gem! Saskatchewan supporting Saskatchewan!
Todd M. Posted 7 months ago
Like I've seen with a lot of Sask. productions, still love the backing we can find from the people and the organizations in this province. Great work on the video's old timey charm as well...
steve l. Posted 7 months ago
Very creative, congrats!
