Claudette B. Posted 6 months ago
Would not be great in the theatre
Mackie B. Posted 6 months ago
The flute could have been more believable. It was a little bit off because the flute song was slow. But the actor was playing it fast.
Peter M. Posted 7 months ago
Not for me either
jerry lee c. Posted 7 months ago
nwell, it s not what I would watch, but it's okay. need to see the full movie before passing final judgement
Frank G. Posted 7 months ago
not for me but nice try
Leigh N. Posted 7 months ago
This really is creepy but I wish there was an explanation of how you did your 'cheap tricks' as this really doesn't explain much.
Agnar C. Posted 7 months ago

Brad K. Posted 7 months ago
Wow that really missed the mark for this mission but still a valid tip for up and comers
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
I think your mission video missed the mark.
Simon V. Posted 7 months ago
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B_movie Recycling material, using apprentices, used FX from other films. Audio is cheaper then video, when you know how to use it. Those are all the tricks of the trade that we use. Have stuff recycled from other shoots and other films before having new custom stuff made. Those are very legitimate and crafty ways to save money. Please post less resentful comments on our work. This mission product is priding itself in having extremely well done shots and art on low costs. Don't have to look cheap, but if you'd see my budget charts, you'd know it was ;)
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
I can't see your budget charts - I can only comment based on what you post and compared to other submissions I think you did not do a great job on this mission. Your comment tells me you've definitely thought about this stuff, but I feel like that's the type of stuff that needed to be in your mission.
Jason M. Posted 7 months ago
I have to agree with Michelle. It's great that you guys are coming at this from a B-Movie budget, but your video should have conveyed how you were tackling the challenges.
For example, it would have been interesting to see how you guys crafted the devil's look.
Angelo S. Posted 7 months ago
Nice mask work.
Simon V. Posted 7 months ago
Our FX coordinator is indeed extremely awesome. Knows her way around the B-Rated stuff for sure! thanks :)

I'm with Bob C... all I've got is ????
Bob C. Posted 7 months ago
Huh? I don't get it...
Ross H. Posted 7 months ago
It would be great if you threw in some new clips of vintage cars, and more clips of the women.
Billie T. Posted 7 months ago
Totally lost...
Natalia N. Posted 7 months ago
I was left extremely confused... I don't understand how this relates to the mission at all
Simon V. Posted 7 months ago
Used a black screen with simple audio and still managed to get a good kick out of it it. Body painting was done for cheap (read my replies bellow) well, this project was done entirely on good deals and good deeds. I've took on this mission with the eyes of a producer more then a director. Taking account discounts and deals with artists and people rather then to do camera illusions and editing tricks. Recycling and using B-Roll is also a good way to save money and this was done with it.
Betty H. Posted 7 months ago
Sorry Team El Diablo. I didn't get "cheap tricks" from you.
Simon V. Posted 7 months ago
Body Paint was done by a Guy that does airbrush on choppers and various monstrous vehicles. For him actual body painting for him is something that he had been wanting to do, but had not the experience and know how to do it professionally. (Airbrush on bikes and people being two completely distinct things) It gave him an opportunity to try it out for real on an actual set and it cost us a fraction of the cost for an actual body painter. Fun thing is that the Dude in question is a highly decorated world icon in his field.. it was a double plus for us. Drapes are about 2-3$ each. The car was free from a friend. Black screens with audio don't cost a cent.
Alvin D. Posted 7 months ago
nice
William F. Posted 7 months ago
well that was different!
Wildcat W. Posted 7 months ago
This can be a great project, please stay focused with the missions.
Matty G. Posted 7 months ago
I really dig the way you guys took this on. Great work! M
Shannon T. Posted 7 months ago
Not all tricks are special effects. This is an interesting perspective.
Peter B. Posted 7 months ago
Don't see how this relates to the mission....

That song is too much.
