Not following the trick
Ingrid S. Posted 6 months ago
This is a great pitch but I dont understand what the Cheap Trick is
Kathy M. Posted 6 months ago
For sure the casting decisions would be very important, and from watching your speechless vid, it was done well
Stacy M. Posted 7 months ago
Love the story and the strong female lead. Your team looks like alot of fun and a very resorsful group. would loved to have seen more cheap tricks though.
Linda R. Posted 7 months ago
I don't think you fulfilled the entire mission :(
Jenny Y. Posted 7 months ago
I'm not sure story quite covers cheap tricks
Matt S. Posted 7 months ago
Don't think this was as clear as it could have been.
Aiden C. Posted 7 months ago
Well you just made a great pitch video for your project. Not sure how much of this was cheap tricks but full marks for effort. One last comment your film is going after having a budget of 1 million dollars so using examples of projects that were made for under 50K is odd. I would reference films that have similar budgets instead such as , "Cabin Fever", "Saw" as examples.
Paul J. Posted 7 months ago
Agree that the casting will win it in the end. Could have used more insight into the technical side of your movie as well!
Brad K. Posted 7 months ago
good concept but a good script and good story doesn't always come cheap or be a trick so i think you kind of missed the mark here
Michelle G. Posted 7 months ago
decent mission, decent team.
Kari W. Posted 7 months ago
Hmmmm... Maybe more strategy than tricks
Wesley S. Posted 7 months ago
Clearly you have the right focus here for your film. Story and good casting will win the day.
Diane N. Posted 7 months ago
I like your def. of Cheap Tricks - idea, script and actors... old school. Good work!
Nellemarie H. Posted 7 months ago
Not sure if casting is a trick - looks like you've done a good job of it though!

Tiff A. Posted 7 months ago
The "tricks" are the fact that they didn't need any!
Tiff A. Posted 7 months ago
Love this. It's great to see the personalities behind the movie.

Good mission video
Scott A. Posted 7 months ago
Hey guys, our idea behind it was that if you've got a well written story with developed characters and cast correctly, you don't need to have big special effects or huge names on your film. Not to say that they aren't needed in films but often they are used to cover up a weak script, acting or story. We didn't want to bore everyone talking about the networking we did to get equipment and our locations. But we do appreciate your feedback! Promise more from our next missions :)
Brenda T. Posted 7 months ago
hahaha a little stabbing.
Bryan L. Posted 7 months ago
Not sure they did the tricks
Charlie S. Posted 7 months ago

Tawni B. Posted 7 months ago
Agreed, you can't make a great film without a great story!
Sydney B. Posted 7 months ago
Didn't Hitchcock say Story, Story, Story? :-)
Scott A. Posted 7 months ago
Love Hitchcock. It's all about the story and the relationships between characters that make a film!
Mia O. Posted 7 months ago
The story is definitely engaging - I look forward to hearing how you will be pulling this off in terms of production.
Scott A. Posted 7 months ago
Thanks Mia. That's the plan that I am working on right now, locations, equipment, etc. I really believe my film can be done for a smaller budget. It's all about having a small tight efficient crew and strong actors.
Quinn S. Posted 7 months ago
A good story leads to a good production, eh?
Peyton L. Posted 7 months ago

I agree, you have to start with a good story and relatable characters. You don't need all the fluff to create tension.
